I'm buying a house in La Luz and the Home Inspector said that we needed to get a roofing contractor to look at the roof, especially since there is some wrinkles in the covering (flat - built-up roof), and because the roof was replaced two years earlier by the owner (not using a contractor). I used Clint Hicks because he has an adequate web site and there were not any negative reviews on him from the many review sites out there. I didn't find any positive reviews on any roofers in the Alamogordo area from any web sites. I was able to get Clint to come out to the property after normal working hours on a day's notice. Not only did he not charge me for an estimate, he told me that we only need minor work done that we can do ourselves. PLUS - he provided a detailed explanation on how to do the work and what material to use. Honest contractors are so hard to find. Thank goodness that my spin of the roulette wheel landed on Clint Hicks. When I do need a new roof, he will be my first call for an estimate. Of course, since I don't need a new roof, I can't tell you how good a job he does or how reasonable his rates are. I hope to see more reviews here covering those issues when I do need a new roof in ~8 years.

Being an…read moreolder, detached garage roof with lots of rain/hail damage located on the East Mesa, it was a challenge to find someone. I queried several "high rated" roofers with little follow-up. Sent a Yelp request on Friday afternoon (7 Apr) and Bryan showed up same day and provided an estimate the next day. I decided on Monday (10 Apr) to use Jr Roadrunner Construction and later that day he dropped off some materials to start work first thing next morning (11 Apr). I've never seen such hustle in my life. Three days and 22 hours later, brand new upgraded roof that looks fabulous. One of the hardest working people I've ever encountered, Bryan is intelligent, organized, thorough and pleasant with a great work ethic - along with his helper, Luis. Kind of restored my faith in humanity a bit. If I could give a higher rating than "5" I would. Excellent job, Bryan Ruiz!

Shame on you. Their conversations can be heard with my ac on and windows closed. They had to remove the existing gutter and I was told I would be responsible to pay if I wanted to replace the gutter. I agreed and they special ordered it. By the time the gutter came in, the workers who came to replace what was removed, did not finish the job. I called and left a message and noone returned my call. I left another message with the answering service and the owner called me back and make an appointment to come check it out. He never showed or called to reschedule. I filed a complaint with the BBB and Trinkle responded immediately stating they would contact me and remedy the issue; however, they never did. I rejected their resolution at the deadline point because they never reached out. This business lacks integrity and I would not recommend them because they do not keep their word.
