We had the report come back. We had what we thought was a lot of issues that we don't understand because I'm not HVAC. I'm not an electrician and I'm not a plumber so we saw all these and we're just weirded out however we got a chance to talk to Mark and Marc calmed us down by telling us that a lot of it was just minimal and again I told him that we didn't have that professional background and we super appreciate you calling us and taking the time to go through the report and tell us that our issues were very minimal and if we were to have them get fixed, all of them would probably be fixed in less than an hour, so like I said before he made it a lot better for us and we were not freaked out by the report. I truly recommend this company. I was very impressed with both installers sorry inspectors and I would definitely recommend these guys if you were buying a house because like I said they went everywhere. I've never seen a report to where the whole house was inspected and it was great to know that these guys were there to do this for us. Also, they have a lot of other services they could do a couple of them are pest control. They do termites and array of others. I believe that they do alarm system systems and so forth and so on, but I definitely would get in touch with these guys. Thank you again Joe and thank you again Mark for helping us with getting our house and explaining the issues in detail.

The reporting provided is top notch and Kris found items that had been missed previously by others, saving us from some significant expenses down the road. With his recommendations in hand, the homeowners were able to quickly see to the remediations and the sale stayed on track. In addition to being a licensed contractor and home inspector, Kris is also certified in mold inspection so I felt like I got a professional overview of any mold issues as a free bonus. Thank goodness he didn't find any, mold is the state flower of Florida you know, but he looked. I am not a contractor, but my father was and I worked with him on construction and renovation in my youth. So I can't really call myself an expert, but I know more than the average buyer. I would recommend Kris - Inspect and Save without reservation if you need a home inspection. Impressive service, detailed reporting, and a genuinely professional and nice guy.

I'm not saying he overlooks anything but he doesn't make a mountain out of a molehill which is important. You want to know about the items in the house but you don't want your inspector to make such a big deal about little things that you feel bad about your new home purchase or get freaked out about something that is found in every home inspection. Home ownership is about knowing about the house from a good inspection and accepting that every home has a "honey-do-list". I sell about 50 houses a year and I use Kris very, very often because he's solid, knowledgeable and doesn't create issues where there doesn't need to be issues created.

We contracted Lafferty to enclose the entry area of our townhome with a custom screen door. The…read morefinished product initially looked great. Unfortunately, when we began having problems with the door not closing properly and our experience with Lafferty's customer service was extremely disappointing. Because we were outside the warranty period, we were required to pay a $75 service fee just to schedule an appointment. After several follow-up calls and waiting a couple of weeks, a technician finally came out. He installed a new plunger and left. Upon returning home we discovered the door was actually worse than it had been before the service visit. It now drags on our newly installed pavers and only closes about halfway. We have followed up with Lafferty multiple times and have provided photos and video clearly showing the problem. Despite this, more than a month later, they have still refused to send someone back to inspect the issue or correct the workmanship. Our experience has been very disappointing. While the initial installation looked good, the lack of follow-up and customer service has been unacceptable. When you hire a company, you expect them to stand behind their work and make a reasonable effort to resolve problems when they arise. Unfortunately, based on our experience, we would not use Lafferty again. We have also shared our experience with others in our development so they can make an informed decision before hiring them.
