WHCC has been my go-to for any printing whatsoever, i have never had an issue with them in the last 2 years I've been using their services. I mostly use them for printing photos for galleries and they knock it out the park every time. Super fast printing and shipping and the quality is fantastic. I've even gotten pieces framed by them in a pinch and it's in my hands within days, I don't think i've ever waited more than a week, including when there was that snow storm. The one time i've needed customer service there was a real person on the other end of the chat right away, they're almost toooo quick if that's possible. Thanks for all you do! read more

I am happy with the printing. But their lollipop policy is ridiculous. I have asked them repeatedly not to include their stupid Tootise Roll lollipop in my order because in a recent delivery, it melted and ruined everything. I had to have it reprinted, adding time and expense to my own work flow. Naturally, I included a note and I asked never to have a lollipop sent to me moving forward. Here's the kicker - they said they can't remove it from their packaing but they could if they drop shipped it to me. AMEN! Finally a solution, Right? Wrong. Then they said they would CHARGE me to drop ship my own order to me to fix their mistake. Appartently drop shipped orders don't include their ridiculous lollipop, which tells me they can remove it if they really need to. They insisted there was NOTHING they could do about charging me for drop shipping. I said that it needs to be escalated and I'm not spending any more time on this. They took my money, as I can see my card was charged, but no apology, no offer to mitigate - nothing. I have had no fewer than 5 calls with them about this idiotic lollipop policy. I have zero time for this. I'm very busy, and I'm the customer, If I say I don't want your stupid lollipop, I don't want your stupid lollipop. To add insult to injury, in addition to being a grown ass adult who doesn't need to be patronized with candy, I'm a type 1 diabetic, so it's like opening the box and seeing a giant middle finger looking back at me. If they can correct this issue without whining about it, I'll update my review. But for now, zero stars. read more

I've spent the past several weeks painstakingly whittling down my photos from over 8k to about 1200. It was a massive and emotional effort, but I'm determined to get my media to a manageable and enjoyable level. I've been overwhelmed instead of inspired, by virtue of the fact that I was buried under way, way too many photos. Plus, I love prints. I love the look and feel of prints in my hand, and I want to start compiling albums of all the beautiful photos I've taken in the last ten years. To that end, I sent a round of photos to a few different printers to compare, before I commit to the full-scale project. Well, my WHCC prints arrived today and I am speechless. There is no comparison between their work and "the other guys." The quality, the colors, the finish and luster...I am absolutely over the moon. I have had a plethora of issues with WHCC. When they do great work, they do great work, but when they don't, they will do everything they can to get over, blame the customer, and not help. I recently ordered a wedding album for a client. The editor requires all four edges of every single page to be manually dragged to the edge. The editor and the client previewer are not in sync, though, so it may look like the edges are aligned (even though they aren't!) When asking if there was any way the two poorly printed pages could be replaced, I was told no. Then I was told they would ask if I could have a discount for a second order since it was a software issue. Then I was ghosted. I spent almost $300 on an unusable album that for all intents and purposes looked like it was okay... it took me several hours to try and align everything, and it still didn't turn out. Their software is archaic and truly a nightmare. If you want to order ANYTHING other than just a basic print, I impore you to seek other options. They have recently jacked up their prices (almost 600 dollars for 300 wedding invitations). Really? There are plenty of amazing printers where you can get invites for way less than $2 a piece. I have used this printer and their counterpart ProDpi over the last 15 years. I recently placed a large order and could not have been more displeased with the results and their customer service to resolve it (which they really didn't) I was refunded for the 4 damaged prints that were in my order but that was it. The rest of the prints came curled because of the way they were packaged and the "fine art" paper quality was like thicker cardboard, very cheap feeling and not what I expected at all. I also had to pay for expedited shipping because "it's their busy season" of which there was no notification anywhere on their site. Why should I be penalized for your poor communication? If you post its a 2 business day turnaround you should honor that. No it was a four business day turn around. The fine art prints I received were garbage quality and definitely not worth $430. I will not be a returning customer any longer. read more

I had a very unexpected negative experience with this company. After refusal to ship me an order in full that has made, they convinced me to complete a second order to obtain my items. I reluctantly completed the second order as I needed the items in a time crunch. To my surprise, I had my original show up in full only days later. I attempted to cancel my second order and they refused to cancel it. When the second order, which was unneeded and unnecessary, arrived damaged and wet I requested a refund and they again refused. Their customer service is poor with very condescending customer service reps - their left hand has no idea what their right hand is doing - I would recommend anyone considering this company take their business elsewhere. read more

I have been using Prodpi for years and have had relatively few issues. That is until my most recent order. After placing my biggest order to date, nearly half of the received prints where not even close to what was expected. I reached out to customer service for the first time and was extremely disappointed in how I was treated. They refused to provide a refund and were only willing to give me a discount to reorder the prints. I was dumbfounded and again asked for a refund but the only resolution they are willing to offer is a discount to reprint photos that are not on par with what was expected. I placed two orders and they were being held up because of out of stocks on metal key chains. I asked that the order be shipped and when the key chains come in send those. Nope cant be done was the answer I received. We dont have the ability to do that! It would mean creating another order and we cant do that. We cant always control every situation but we can control how we react to those situations when servicing our customers and this speaks volumes about WHCC's willingness to go the extra mile for their customers. (...okay, so I took that straight off their website, but it sums it up nicely!) Let me just say that in my dealings with WHCC so far, I am more than pleased. The print quality is excellent and the customer service goes above and beyond most online printing places - they will work with you to make sure your order is exactly what you want. I particularly appreciated the 5 free test prints (8x10) that they send you before you can place your first order with them... this is to ensure that your monitor is calibrated to their printers, so that there are no surprises! Most places require you to place a full order before you get some prints back, and you risk the unpleasant surprise of having none of them come back the way you expected. With this first batch of free test prints, you also receive paper samples of all the print options and cardstock, which is a great reference for future orders. Free two-day shipping is a plus, too - I find that when this is taken into account, their prices end up being comparable to other major online photo printing sites, plus you get WHCC's consistent quality and accuracy. If it's just prints or cards that I need, I can't really see why I'd order from anyone else! read more

I am a professional wedding photographer and I get all of my albums printed through this company. Never have had any issues until their template sizing failed and whcc printed my album incorrectly. On their application for printing it says nothing outside the lines will print but that is wrong. I called them to have them fix it and they gave me a 50% off coupon to order another album. Ha! They won't fix their mistake and say their guidelines aren't precise. But interestingly enough, I have NEVER had this issue. In fact, I usually get my image cut off extra. Their consistency lacks. My early experience with WHCC is outstanding. As a relatively new photographer, I have had very little experience in printing, and I needed a little assistance to ensure that my file size and resolution was correct. Their communication and help were exceptional. Both times I've used them, I have had my prints within about 3 days. Their pricing is pretty good, and I have been pleased with the color and quality of prints. I like the fact that they send free test prints with first order so that customers can gauge color. I also like that they included a variety of paper samples with the free prints for reference. With my order, I had a handwritten thank you note and a piece of candy. Small stuff, but in the era of big box retailers, it is good to see that companies still value their customers. Initially, I wasn't so sure I was going to like this service. Their website took a bit longer to navigate, and I had to download a platform to order prints. However, I actually like that I have some ability to see various ratios before making a selection. This takes some of the guess work out of cropping. I tried another service and was very displeased, but I plan to continue using WHCC exclusively. read more

I've used WHCC for a few years now and they have been an incredibly reliable, easy-to-use, and helpful service for my professional photography. Starting with shipping, they are extremely fast and the prints and products are always packaged really well. They have a wide variety of print paper and surfaces to choose from and the end result is a beautiful product. Finally, their customer service is outstanding and incredibly responsive and helpful. I've had a couple instances where my prints were lost in the mail or a product was slightly off, and they've been so quick and happy to replace those. Will NEVER do business with this company again. I purchased a $200 gallery wrap that was supposed to be shipped to a customer by a specific date. They provide a program that enables you to create the print and shipment through the program. Because their program is not calibrated in size to their guidelines, I had to resize my image twice which took a separate day each time. The first time I processed the image, I included the address to where the wrap should be shipped. By the time the image was processed correctly, instead of sending to the provided address, they shipped to my home address instead. To make matters worse, not only will my shipment not arrive to the customer on time, but instead of canceling the shipment or redirecting it to its correct location, I was told that I could pay half price for a new wrap but that it too would not be delivered on time. This is a scam to get more money out of me. This is unacceptable and not how a "professional" company should have handled this. It should have been done correctly the first time, and even though mistakes happen, it COULD have been done correctly a second time, but instead of worrying about the print arriving on time, WHCC wants YOU to pay for their mistakes. Worthless company. Side note! I have contacted FedEx and they are willing to redirect the shipment to the location I specified. It still won't arrive on time, but it is important to note that instead of redirecting the shipment and paying the $13 to FedEx to compensate their mistake, WHCC is instead trying to sell me another print at half price. They couldn't care less about my print arriving on time, they just want more money from me. Additionally, this all happened right before the weekend and they do not offer weekend customer service. Meaning if I didn't go through FedEx directly, I would be waiting until Monday for WHCC to MAYBE (but probably not) do something about this issue. Meaning it would take an additional 2 days just to restart the new print and another 2 days to ship. Scam artists! WHCC is a dishonest, scummy company. Do not do business with them for any reason. UPDATE: the shipment has already left the FedEx office and I am no longer able to redirect the shipment. Had WHCC taken care of their mistake in a timely manner after I spoke with them about this issue, it would have been redirected and possibly at least arrive on Monday. Instead, they were more worried about squeezing more money out of me! Absolutely livid! read more

I've been using WHCC for press printed greeting cards for a few years now and have been consistently pleased with the reproduction, paper quality and ability to print as few as 25 cards of each image. I had just received an order for more cards when I got the email that they had to shut down the next day on governor's orders due to the COVID-19 crises. I hurried to get my order of multiple sets of cards in, thinking it was a long shot that they could print it before then. On the day of the shut down I received an email saying my order had shipped! Very pleased with the customer service, fast turnaround and going the extra mile for their clients. Hope we are all back to work soon! When I first went on a hunt for a professional printing company to fit my business needs I was so confused. After a few trial and errors with other printer company, I found WHCC. Had I known about them before I would have saved a lot of headache. WHCC, hands down, is the best printer I've ever worked with. The customer service outranks 5 star service, they're very quick to process and print your order. Thankfully they have a location in Texas as well, so my prints get to me extremely fast. I have never been let down when using their service. They even called me once because I uploaded the wrong file for a 48x48 ( oops! ) and took it out of my order and processed the rest so I could my other items as quick as possible. They adjusted my total without having to cancel the entire order and was able to submit an additional order for the 48x48 and have it printed the correct way. Had WHCC printed the image and just sent it to me, it would have looked horrible. It would have been 100% my fault too. Like any of the online, mail order developing or printing companies, you have to be prepared that you might not like the way they handle your image in printing. I am very particular about printing and sometimes I am not happy with their printing (not centered on page, etc.). I've had it happen that I sent my images in too late to be reprinted and they had to be shown the way they were. They will reprint if you are dissatisfied with their printing but you need to allow for time to get the reprint back by mail. Better when possible to do it yourself. read more

Like all large production houses, there will be an occasional hiccup and you must not wait until the last minute with your order in case you are not happy with what they've done. Quality of prints I have seen is generally excellent but not always. They did a large, expensive gallery wrap for me that was top drawer. Neat corners; perfect printing, perfect colors. On another order (8x10s for a contest) one print was great; the other soft despite a tack-sharp digital image. I reprinted the soft image on my cheap desktop printer and true to form - tack sharp (but the color was not as good as WHCC's so I went with that print and lost). One of my competitors told me I should have sent the soft print right back to WHCC and asked them to reprint it correctly and he assured me they would have done that at no additional cost to me. Another example I saw was of a classmate's final project - 10 11x16 images last year (spring 2012) and the printing quality was horrible. One image literally ran off the top of the page, the borders on the others were all cockeyed - 1/4 at the top, an inch or so at the bottom. I asked him what he paid for that and he said, "Over $100," which suggests he also had them retouch (though it did not look like anyone had corrected anything). I told him he should have returned it and had them re-do the job. He confessed he had waited until the last minute before the final was due and there was not time to send it back them wait to get it returned. But ever since them I've wanted every job returned to me so I can check the quality then I send to the client. I also belong to a co-op where I can do my own printing on an Epson 9900 printer, which has become my #1 preference. A client of mine wants to do an online ordering for their customers of my work and of such online companies, I trust WHCC the most but because of how horrible I know the results can be, and imagine what if that had gone straight out to a client ------ I'm afraid to charge much of a markup. read more

White House Custom Colour is easily the best printing company I have ever used. Being a photographer I need to deliver a product that is consistent and my customers like, and WHCC does exactly that. By the time I order, its at my house within 3 days and very nicely packed. Between the several layers of protection (cardboard and plastic) it couldn't possibly get damaged in transit. On top of that, they write little letters and leave a tootsie pop or something in the box as well, just to make it personal. Their customer service representatives are timely and actually human! I am a professional Photographer and have been in the business over 30 years. White House has always done a good job in the past from the MN office. My last three orders were printed in the Texas office and were amateur at best. I think I could have gotten a better print job at Sam Club. Once I complained they agreed to do a make over at 25% which I agreed to in order to expedite the order to my client. I received two of the orders today and it seems like the first order was misplaced and would have to be reprinted again. The 2nd and 3rd reprints were billed at 75% not 25%. I called and talked to customer service and was informed that they would never offer to print at 25%. It was 25% off instead. That means other than the inconvenience of have to spend the day trying to get the orders correctly print I have to pay an additional 75% for them. It looks like in the case of White House they are always right not the customer so BEWARE in dealing with them. There are two many good labs in the industry that treats their customers as professionals, to have to deal with what it seems like is a lab that has outgrown themselves and forgotten why they were able to grow in the first place. read more

Quality of printing pretty good, but the problem solving skills of the customer service dept, which seems to be made up of 1 guy whose favorite answer is, "I don't know" makes it lose its luster with me. Used them for years and everytime I have a problem with them, it's a REAL problem and unsolvable. When things go right, I'm happy with them, but problems WILL arise. Their inability to troubleshoot, make accomodations or reparations is abysmal. Ruins an otherwise perfectly good printer. Their prices are great, but I'm finding the customer service enough of a liability to pay the extra price for someplace else, like Richard Photo Lab in California or even MPIX. read more

Can I just sing in praise for WHCC? Oh my goodness. I've been a client of theirs for a year and a half now, and I recently placed an order for a 20x30 print for a client that is leaving the country in two days. I expected the package to arrive at my door yesterday evening. UPS said the package had been left at the door, but it wasn't there. I check with all the neighbors and scoured the entire property, without luck. I placed a Lost Package inquiry with UPS, to no avail, as their tracking system said it had been dropped off. I called WHCC this morning, in a state of panic. The remake department reassured me that the enlargement could be remade and drop shipped to the client before their departure from the country. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that it all goes smoothly and makes it to the client, but WHCC has certainly eased my worries. As an owner of a small photography business, I feel completely taken care of by them. read more
