The steak itself was absolutely perfect and the bread under soaked up all those juices so you didn't have to lick the plate after (great ingenuity when dining out :)) The desserts were fantastic but the star of the show was def the raspberry blondie. Pray they don't leave the neighborhood because the bike lanes have removed any way to easily pull in front of the store for loading/unloading - they are the best. What a spectacular find!…read more Like most things in Chinatown, you have to work your way through this place...and who's to say if the EXACT item you need will be here after hunting several very tall aisles. The lady in charge when I went didn't know specifically what they had, but instantly knew what it cost when she saw it! In my case, as well as any owner of a Pyrex 9x13 baking pan, this trip was a major score. They have a $6 10x18 pan grate that fits snugly secured to the handles of the pan so you can roast meats as drippings fall 2" into the Pyrex. Also, the same "Winco" brand has a grate which fits inside the same glass Pyrex pan. If you want to elevate a small roast inside the 9x13, this $4 grate fits perfectly too. This stuff isn't easily found...just saying.

Richard S, Your…read moreresponse confirms the central fact of my review: I purchased $1 worth of merchandise (2 rubber washers) with a debit card, and your employee added $2 in "labor" solely to bring the transaction up to your $3 minimum, even though no additional labor or service was performed. Instead of addressing that, you are attempting to make my reaction the issue. I walked into your store to make a purchase. I did not walk in yelling at anyone. I became angry only after I questioned the charge, called the store and was hung up on, and then returned and was treated dismissively. You are focusing entirely on my eventual reaction while conveniently omitting what caused it. Saying that I "could have walked out" also misses the point. You charged my debit card $2 for "labor" that was never performed. Your own response acknowledges why the $2 was added. I am not asking you to agree with my interpretation of the applicable debit-card rules. I am perfectly willing to let the appropriate consumer-protection authorities and payment-card network determine whether this practice complies with their requirements. And taking a shot at me for misspelling the store's name rather than addressing the substance of the complaint only reinforces the attitude I described in my original review. This was never about $2. It was about how the $2 was charged and how a customer was treated after questioning it. I stand by my review.
