Once I disclosed that another company had already cleaned the room, I was told they do not like taking jobs previously cleaned by other companies and that I should ask the original cleaners to come back instead. The response honestly felt dismissive, and almost as if they no longer wanted the job because I had not chosen their company first. What confused me most is that the room still clearly needed cleaning regardless. It also left me wondering whether they would have accepted the job normally if I had simply never mentioned that another cleaner had already been there. I understand businesses can choose what work they take on, but the interaction felt unprofessional and disappointing after already discussing pricing and the scope of the cleaning.

My home is 1700 square feet, very clean and fully remodeled, and the maids work totaled 2.5 hours. He claims the clean cost him $1000 -- that is an astronomical amount for a clean of that size. Claiming that he tried to run the card is complete nonsense. We have only one card, with very high limits on our card and don't carry a monthly balance, so there wouldn't ever be a decline. My husband never called him with another card number -- that is also a lie. I am filing a BBB claim now to help protect consumers from this type of bad business practice. Buyer beware of this very sketchy business.
