Wonderful Imperial Stout from White Elm Brewing!
    Alden C.

Another fun brewery experience from a city I don't normally associate many brewery experiences with and is not what it's known for. White Elm Brewing gave us a very pleasant round with one of their beers. The ¡Champurrado! , an imperial stout gave us an excellent craft beer experience! The flavor features in this are simply wonderful! The cinnamon, chocolate and vanilla highlights are so delightful and decadent. The cinnamon is the more dominating feature which I'm glad to see because I love cinnamon and often feels like it gets sidelined and subdued to almost an unnoticeable feature with some beers so I just love seeing this change! Great beer experience and would love to try more White Elm Brewery!

Really cool little spot in Omaha. They have a creative menu of beers, often with little spins you might not expect. They do a great job with their barrel aging program and they will likely have something on their list that will appeal to any beer drinker. Kind of a tucked away location, but easy parking and access. Definitely check them out, they do a great job. Very friendly service and inviting taproom experience

With small kids at home, I don't have a ton of opportunities to just go chill at a brewery. But when I have friends in town or another excuse to get out of the house, this is a place I really like to visit. Don't be deceived by the less than enticing strip mall location, this is a great spot with a fun ambience. If you've only seen it as you're zipping by on Van Dorn, make a point to stop in sometime.

First off, I found the space very appealing upon entering. The tall ceilings, dark grey wall colors, and mixture of tile and wood adornments make the atmosphere very unique and inviting. Secondly, the staff were very friendly, helpful, and informative. We immediately felt welcomed and supported in our beverage decision making process. Thirdly, the beers are the best, most flavorful, and unique, that I've had so far in Lincoln. I especially enjoyed the 'Biere De Garde' hearty saison. The 'Hibiscus Farmhouse' was my second favorite. Finally, the prices are reasonable, they have to-go growler options, and yummy table Chex snacks. This brewery is a little difficult to find/access, but please don't let that stop you. If you enjoy a good beer, come try White Elm Brewery ASAP!

Vegetarian chili rellanos-good portion, delicious & nice presentation!! I would definitely come back to try the other items on the menu.

Delicious beer in a cute place. Dogs allowed inside, which I LOVE! The smoothie beer I had was a bit sweet for me, but it was a hit with the others. Plenty of sours to choose from (which I also love) and the bartender was so friendly. Will be back again!

Trying new breweries is one of my favorite things and I love that lincoln keeps getting more and more of them! We are fortunate enough that white elm is within walking distance of our house, so I've been wanting to try them out since I discovered this. I'll admit the location could be tricky to find if you don't know the area. They are right off of van dorn street before you hit 9th street in a strip mall. Upon entering, I loved the decor and what they have done with the inside. There are some tables, bar seating, as well as some couch seating. I also spotted some board games for customer use. There is a mural of a white elm tree that spans the main area, which the bartender informed us a local tattoo place completed for them. They had 12 beers on tap, one being a guest tap. Overall, great variety I would say. My husband got the IPA flight and I got beers 5-8, which consisted of the grisette, a saison, hibiscus farmhouse, and something else I can't remember. My favorites were the double IPA, the grisette, and the hibiscus. The double IPA was strong but still smooth and flavorful. The grisette was lighter and refreshing. The hibiscus was similar to other ones I've tried, but I am a huge fan of hibiscus beer in general. Prices are fair and reasonable. $8 for a flight (4 beers) or $2 for each 4oz. sample. Most full size beers were around $4-4.25 for 16oz with the exception of a couple of the Stronger ones being $6. We also tried a bourbon barrel coffee stout, which was very unique and interesting. I enjoyed the flavor but couldn't have drank an entire one by myself but my husband loved it. The bartender was very conversational and we enjoyed discussing the lincoln craft beer scene with her. We came late on a Friday night so towards the last hour we had the place to ourselves. We will be back for sure!!! Give white elm a try.

I like the broad choice of Belgian ales here. The location is a bit odd. The waitress was a bit matter of fact. The atmosphere is a bit library/church like. The beers are spot on to style but something is lacking...

Good beer and a fun place to meet friends, just down the road for me. Sometimes it can be crowded.

This restaurant appears to be part of an office building…read more Because today is a Saturday, there are lots of parking lots available. Not sure you would get the same availability of parking lots on a workday We were seated once we walked in. Pretty prompt in service. There are a variety of seating available. We chose a booth to sit at. Pretty comfortable seats. Hubby ordered beers And I ordered a cocktail. First cocktail I ordered was apple matcha. Tasted Pretty much like plum wine on rocks with a slice of lemon. I was not expecting that So I asked to make sure the order i made and the server took was correct. Based off of the ingredients- it should have been crown apple, yuzu, matcha powder, lemon and grapefruit and vanilla syrup. Just from the ingredients alone- I would have expected something with some green in it. Light green. Or floating matcha powder. I didn't taste any of the elements quoted. But it was nice- as previously mentioned- tasted like plum wine. Our server did check on our behalf and she said this was made correctly. I ordered Thai shrimp sliders. Shrimp was crispy and plump. Slaw on top was delicious. Sauce was a little sweet. But overall good combination. I ordered a second drink - clarified saturn. This time- i did taste the elements of the ingredients. Peaflower infused gin, golden falernum, pistachio syrup, passionfruit and lemonjuice. Light lavender/ pink was the right colour. Tad strong on pistachio syrup and not really tasting the passionfruit. This was better than first drink. Overall good experience and we will be back.
