I approached the attendant and said something to her about it. she contacted the owner and they said there was nothing they could do about it. I have been a patron of theirs for the last 10 years. I know the attendants are suppose to clean out the machines nightly before they leave. I know this because I use to work there part time and we had to clean machines before we leave. if the attendant that worked last night would have done her job my clothes would not be ruined. i took pictures of the ruined clothes and pictures of the machine. will be talking to a lawyer. This place has lost my business and I will be letting all my friends and family know not to go there.

Most people know how to lie, but they rarely know how the other 3 work. After saucing it up with my family, being thankful, and putting my friend in his place via, of all things, a text message, I wasn't in the mood to do laundry. Especially upon finding out that the dryer was broken in the family household. My morning started with a raging hangover, and it wasn't pairing well with the harsh reality that I still had a butt load of dirty laundry. No worries, Smart Wash to the rescue! My parents use their services for their bed linens all the time as they are too big for their machines at home. The major bonus with this place is that you don't have to pay for a card to operate the machines. They are dispensed for free with whatever amount you want to add. In less than 10 minutes, the lady weighed my laundry, got a price, and showed me how to work the card dispenser. Two hours later, my laundry was cleaned and folded neatly, placed into plastic bags, and put back into my carrier bins. I took away a star because I found that there were still some stains that didn't come out of a few of my laundry items. I wonder if it was the soap she used? Still, I'm not unsatisfied. The lady was so sweet and I couldn't thank her enough for washing my nasty drawers! Small price to pay for the convenience of not having to do it myself. It made my drive back to chicago much easier and I felt less exhausted sitting in Black Friday traffic. If you bring your laundry here, you'll also notice they have 2 tier folding tables, and generally, the place is spotless.

Second, the awesome selection of quality washing machines. Helen assisted me with washer selection. I was shocked to learn my 18 loads only req'd 2 machines & soap for 3 loads! In addition there's plenty of folding tables, rolling carts & dryers. The atmosphere has cozy, hometown feel yet, at the same time, Helen uses high-tech machines that accept debit & credit cards or quarters. It is bright, clean, quiet, and staffed. They do have several sizes of machines ranging in price from $3.75 to 11.00 wash. (11 is like a Ferris wheel!) drying is .75 per 13 minutes. Dryers are hot and 13-20 mins is good to go even for towels. Carts are readily available. Clean floor if you drop something. Everyone has access to folding area. Bathrooms are clean but need a swipe from an attendant. Vending machines available and reasonably priced. Tv is on low if you're interested, background music is low. Chickens play area. Several walls of washers and dryers. I got 10 loads done in 2 hours! Spendy ok, but have you ever hand washed 10 loads... let's weigh the options here. Detergent is available, bleach, oxi clean, and even laundry bags... all for a small price. Also have drop off service. It is credit card or add dollars to a swipe. My cc didn't like the 10+ authorizations. Definitely a non creepy, bright light, reasonably busy on a Saturday laundromat. Would recommend.
