I love White Castle. This one however not so good. We waited forever when there was only 10 people in line. They cooked one order at a time. The fries were as cold as they were when they came in the store. The burgers didn't have the normal White Castle task, just soggy burgers. The soda machine was out of more than it had in it. Didn't really care for this one to be honest. We got one of the combos fry slider and chicken rings. I found the burgers to be somewhat soggy. Frys were ok and the chicken rings were good but I was disappointed with the burgers. Also I asked for extra sauce for the huge order of rings and only got 2. So service didn't really listen. Two stars for quick service. This was the worst burger I have ever eaten and the fries were limp an tasteless too. This was my first and last try of White Castle. We were just getting gas next door, traveling through. I really wanted to like it, we were so hungry. We got the 10 cheeseburger special with large fries. I guess it's not for everyone. I'm giving Whitecastle 3 stars for their food and a extra star for their awesome history. White Castle is a 97-year-old restaurant founded in Wichita Kansas in 1921. The small square burgers sold for five cents in 1921. We ordered four cheeseburgers $.99 each and a order of fried pickles. The fried pickles were good (thin sliced dill pickles -battered and fried till golden brown) burgers were a little on the bland side being that they're so thin, but good. I haven't had White Castle in over a decade and my experience was just as nice as it was back then! The guy with the streaks of blue in his hair at the counter was so patient with me and so very nice as I couldn't remember how the burgers came haha but he was very helpful! After he helped me sort it out I got two original sliders and a chicken slider. The chicken one wasn't as great as I remember but it was edible. Now the burger sliders were good!! Lots of onions and delicious pickles!! Pretty basic so there really isn't a way to go into further detail lol. read more

Ordered online at 3:08pm with a pick up time up 3:25pm. Got our order at 3:45pm. One person cashiering the drive thru & counter together. Which increased the wait time for all customers: drive thru, counter & online orders. I don't blame the manager & the one lone grill person for they seemed overwhelmed by the orders of food coming in just from drive thru. As well as customers coming back to the counter just to get napkins. The employees apologized for the wait but still it makes me wonder why I didnt just spend my money down the street instead. 3 employees in this store trying to handed the flow of customers on a Sunday afternoon should be a wake up call to the store manager to hire more people, schedule more hours, hire better help, roll up their sleeves & actually help serve their customers, something... please. read more

I got the crave! I was in the area, during the holidays, and wanted to eat at Chick-Fil-A, but they were jammed up with customers. So I turned south on the highway and found a Whitey Castellie's, always a favorite of mine. I dined in and found this restaurant to be clean and modern. Drive through wait was 20 minutes with only one car ahead of us. Prior to taking our money, they read off our order to confirm, they then hand out one drink. When he saw the puzzled look on our faces, he asked if they missed something.... I said, Yes, the entire order. They forgot to make the food! After the extended wait, they apologized and handed us our order. We drove off but before leaving the parking lot, we realized the order was wrong. The floors are dirty and sticking to my shoes, the order counter has streaks and food crumbs on it. There are three guys standing in the back chatting and doing nothing. What can I say: it's White Castle. Castle of Whiteness! Wait, that doesn't sound right. Home of the infamous slider - this place was a regular stop for me in my younger days. However, since cleaning up my diet, I've avoided this place. But on a rare occasion, (usually around midnight) I'll crave what they're serving up. I normally get a jalapeño burger or chicken sandwich, both of which I recommend. They also serve a grilled chicken sandwich (which I was unable to get last time since they stop serving it at 11pm). I like their crinkle cut fries . They're a flashback to school cafeteria days and make me feel all nostalgic and stuff. If you've never been there, you've definitely got to try it. My daughter and I ate there yesterday afternoon (2-29-2020) and were both violently ill about 5 hours later. All night long.

Place was absolutely disgusting. They are out of many different kinds of soda. Don't look under the prep tables behind the counter, it will make you sick. One lady took my order very pleasant. Same lady fixed my food. The other worker sat in front of a computer. Lobby was a train wreck. No other people were there. No drive they business while I ate inside. I'm not sure if this place is going under, but they are in definite need of new management. read more

Not a very pleasant experience placed an online order and by the time I got home found out I had a 16 inch blonde hair in one of my burgers call to speak to the manager but did not get an answer got a message saying those busy serving customers and Wood call me back I left my number and never heard from them also put in a complaint to corporate and never heard from them either I did not expect my money back but it would've been nice to at least get an apology for the hair in the food read more

Do not come here. We were in from out of town and don't have WC where we now reside so we were so excited to get WC. Ordered on Doordash, order was completely wrong. Rude... that is the word for this location, at least today. This was our first time visiting a White Castle as we are from out of state. We waited a while for even an acknowledgement that we were at the counter. Then the young woman, who seemed to be in charge, finally acknowledged us and was VERY short and rude. She was bothered to answer any question and acted like we should know what is on each item and understand the menu. She was ruder with each question we had. She seemed happy when we received our order finally and were about to go. It didn't seem to matter how gracious or kind we were. Our kids waited out in the car because she was clearly bothered by any of us. I will say she was pregnant and maybe uncomfortable or stressed or something. We obviously don't know what she is going through, but with at least 5 employees there someone could have been hospitable and shown decent customer service. This was a poor first experience with White Castle. Not sure we will bother again. read more
