Half 1/2 Slab Ribs

Stopped in for dinner with the in laws, thank goodness for Dominic b/c he was so patient with our requests! We had salads, a chili, steak, ribs and potatoes - just a bit of extra fat on the steaks and ribs but everyone was happy and full when we left! A few birthdays were celebrated - Yeeeeeeee Haw, gotta love the birthday love! The establishment reminds you of Famous Dave's or Cracker Barrel with the random trinkets on the walls but it gives you something to look at while you wait. I'm not a stranger to Texas Roadhouse but Hannah and Dominic were very gracious and welcoming, a reminder that good service is still around!

We were seated very quickly. We ordered our food as soon as we sat down and it also came out very quickly. Our waitress was friendly and all the food was good!

Went to the Terre Haute, Indiana Texas roadhouse on a Thursday evening, and didn't know what to expect busy wise. The parking lot was packed! Downloaded the app and got on the waiting list. Waited in are car about 10 or 15 minutes and was called in. There was lots of servers which was great, and our server was awesome!! Started out with the fresh homemade rolls and cinnamon butter. I had the 12 ounce sirloin with ribs and green beans and a salad. One of the best salads I've ever had.! My wife had the 8 ounce sirloin with a cup of chili and the house salad. They have many flavors of tea so I had the iced peach tea sweetened. Restaurant was very clean and under control for as busy as it was!! Would definitely recommend this restaurant!!

I tried to do take out. Wait was over an hour. I'll try again another time. Every time I signed on wait just got longer.

As I waited on my dinner the rolls smothered with cinnamon butter helped my appetite after not having lunch.

Used Yelp search to find a restaurant as we passing thru Terre Haute(on I70) and found The…read moreTerminal Public House. Looked at several of the reviews and knew it was a place to visit. The building itself is over a 100 years old and is on the National Register of Historic Places, this helps its cool vibe. We came in at 12:30 on a December Thursday, it was absolutely packed, what appeared to be multiple team/holiday gatherings. We were told a 20 minute wait, but we eventually were able to find a seat at the bar in less time. With as busy as it was, I was concerned food coming out may be impacted, but it came out quick. Allie was our bar tender, she was very friendly and attentive, shout out to her. First I started with a local beer, wango tango. I would call it a hazy pale ale. It was perfect for me. Had grilled shishito peppers. It was my first time to ever eat one, I loved them. I enjoyed them better without the sauce, but the wasabi Mayo did provide a nice kick. I ate the fried wontons with the sauce. We shared the crab Rangoon flatbread. It did not disappoint, and had a healthy serving size. I would get it again and again! Then I went with a comfort food, fried bologna sandwich. It came with a side, but the sandwhich alone was enough. I added a close pic of the sandwich, it had two thick cut pieces of meat. Impressive. It came with melted cheese, that was a twist for me, but I wanted to try it the way it was on the menu first. I eventually added ketchup, lol. We now have a new place to stop as we're passing by on 70. If I lived closer, i definitely would be a regular!!!

It isn't so special, but what comes out of the counter window is. I, and my family, had the privilege of eating an affordable, delicious, and enticing set of grilled cheeses often not seen in this area. The first was one called Sweet Meats. A grilled cheese (with multiple cheeses) on large sourdough pan bread, apricot jelly, pickled Vidalia onions, smoked gouda, and smoked cherry wood ham. An interesting combination to be sure, but it provides just an interesting and enjoyable experience. The second, pepperoni in between mounds of mozzarella, provolone, Asiago, and garlic sourdough bread called the Pizza Boy. Dipped in a side of pizza sauce, you would swear it was a pizza but better! THE Nasty Nancy was third, a basic (and by basic, I mean 5 melty cheeses) grilled cheese stuffed with shredded bbq pork. It hits all the spots you'd expect it to, and then some. Bring napkins! A new contender, Golden Boy, has approached. A fried chicken breast on top of fresh avocado, bacon, Colby Jack Cheese, and Beezer's Hoosier Gold Honey Mustard BBQ sauce on a golden soft bun. Delicious. The combination creates a heaven only found in the golden fields of Indiana. We'll definitely be back for more, and look forward to seeing this business grow and more support for the local area grow with them. Today...this local boy ate.
