I have a love/hate relationship with this particular White Castle. I love it because it is the closest White Castle restaurant to my house. They never, ever mess up an order. You get what you ask for EVERY TIME. The employees here are all exceptionally nice. You never get a surly person at the counter. The thing that I "hate" or makes me crazy is the order process and the amount of time to receive your order is inordinately long. Their main business is the drive through. There's always a long line. The take and fill one order at a time. It's safe to say you will wait at least ten minutes from pulling up to the menu board and getting your order. If you go inside there's rarely more than one or two customers waiting at the counter. It still takes at least ten minutes from ordering to receiving your order. I got the phone app thinking I'll order ahead and prepay. That will surely speed things up. I am here to report it doesn't. So I will continue to patronize this location, even though most White Castles elsewhere have a process that is much more expedient. I like the service and the accuracy enough I will patiently wait for my sliders with a smile. read more

We thought it would be good to get a late night snack before calling it a night. I haven't had White Castle in a very long time, and I thought it would be good to try them out again. I was the only one ordering from the inside, and it took a while for the food to come out, and when it came out, not everything was there. I asked them for the missing items, and they said they would get to it. It took more time for them to make it, and there wasn't a sense of urgency at all. We got our food and took it back to the hotel, and then I noticed that the 1921 slider did not look anything like the picture. There wasn't any lettuce, tomato, or pickle in it. So I ordered the 1921 slider today and man, first time I had a slider dressed (lettuce, tomato, cheese, pickles, and onions). What I also found was that the drive thru was still slow and as I approached the window, it made sense. Food for thought: In the year 1921, burgers sold for $0.05 (notice how it is written, burgers). Today, white castles - burgers with fried onions, pickles, and buns are $0.77 (inflation adjusted). The 1921 sliders were $1.99. This would mean that a fully dressed burger should have been around $0.13. Food for thought. Suggestions: Sonic, another restaurant I frequent, has a sign that may help speed up the flow of traffic. I will post the picture on this post. The sign just states that anyone with big orders, park and pick up and anyone with small orders, drive thru. I noticed also that the wage is $13.50/hr. and this location is short on staff. Maybe upping it to like $15/hr. may help? read more

My husband had White Castle when he was a kid and said we had to stop on our road trip since we don't have any in Florida. We opted for this White Castle because it was a few miles from our hotel that night. We downloaded the app and saw that it gave us a free meal. Each of us in turn downloaded the app and got the same offer. We put in four app orders and it said they'd be ready in about 20 minutes. Waited in the parking lot for a few and then went in and ordered a 10 pack and fries on top of our app orders. Two other parties came in and ordered after us. Our in store order came up. After 20 minutes had passed we asked about our app orders to which they were surprised and replied they didn't know they had any app orders. She walked over to the cash registered and pulled a bunch of receipts off only to find those were the app orders. They told us they would get us our orders right away. We thought they were preparing our orders which were placed before our in store order and before the two other parties waiting. Nope, they proceeded to make the order for the party of four. Then a few minutes later made the order for the party of one. About 10 minutes after the other parties left, they gave us our order. Not a great showing for White Castle. The store itself was very dirty on the inside. There were at least 6 employees standing around working the front/drive thru. They were working, but definitely not quickly or efficiently. We got four cokes with our meal and they tasted nothing like coke and all had a different syrupy flavor since they came from the freestyle machine. Never thought I'd eat at a White Castle again but sure enough, a couple weeks ago, my husband and I found ourselves in the drive-through ordering Original sliders with cheese for a cheap, quick meal. The burgers were just as expected -- greasy and terrible but obscenely delicious. You know you shouldn't eat them but you do anyway. The fries were surprisingly good. The reason for this review? The incredibly long wait for our food. There was no one in front of us but we waited at the window long enough for a line to form behind us to the point that someone even left the line and took off because the wait was too long. Now taking Valentine's Day reservations. Yep, no judgment here, obviously. I know I'll take some judgment for giving WC five stars, but let's just talk about their breakfast sandwiches for a minute. We got our food rather quickly and the white castles were consistent with hamburgers at any White Castle restaurant. The wait time here is CRAZY ridiculous. I literally sat in the drive thru (one car behind the speaker) for 15 minutes solid. It's incredible how long it takes them to fulfill orders for (what we all know are) frozen, thrown on the grill, not real food tiny burgers. It really shouldn't take that long. They're super simple. In the past two months i have tried to eat here, one of my favorite places, on three separate occasions. All three times were in the drive thru. I have left all three times without ordering due to enormous wait times. On one of these craving occasions, i sat in the drive thru for over 10 minutes without getting a chance to order!
