Yelp deleted my review for no reason! I've been to this White Castle plenty of times and it's been absolutely amazing since they remodeled the establishment. It's unfortunate the prices have gone up so much but I do love ordering off their breakfast menu at any time of the day. Their hash brown nibblers, French toast sandwich and the chicken rings are the best. Plenty of parking, Good drive thru, quiet dining area, clean restrooms too. AVOID. They often get orders wrong, especially if you request anything special in the notes section of the White castle app. I always ask for ketchup on my egg sliders, and about 60% of the time, they ignore it. The manager has told me they don't see thise notes, which is not true SINCE THEY'RE PRINTED ON THE RECEIPT. Today I heard the drive thru person ASK the cook if they put ketchup on my sandwiches. They said no. So they ignored my notes where I asked for ketchup. And when you complain, they give you attitude. Even after "remaking" my order, they only put ketchup on one sandwich. DO NOT GO HERE. The other White Castle on 59 is much better; unfortunately it's inconveniently far for me most days. Oh, and if you have a problem, don't bother to call corporate. This location was busy with multiple waiting for large orders about 6PM on a Sunday. Still, the wait was maybe 10 minutes. I tried the 1921 with tomato on it. Very tasty. Quite an upcharge from the standard slider, 2.47 vs 0.94, but tasty. Also first time for the chicken and waffle sandwich, also good but would not repeat. For chicken I would go to a chicken specialist. White castle is a burger place, and the 1921 may become my default item. And realy, value for price, I don't know how they do it. read more

I have been coming to this White Castle for 10yrs. Never had a bad experience until today. I have allergies so I ordered the #2 combo with No Onions. First time , the order taker told me to drive around to the side bcuz my order wasn't ready. I waited 5 minute. One of the workers brought my order to me. The burgers was HARD and DRY!! I told her to feel the burger. She agreed & She took it back. Told me they have to prepare them again. So I waited. Second time, I received the burgers. They were still cold & they gave me an order of ONION RINGS I can't have onions (allergies) I got out of my car & took the burgers back inside. I ordered a 30 pack crave case Jan. 21, 2024. Service was slow. I ordered the sliders with everything except cheese. I said be sure to give me the sauce, ketchup etc on them. I finally was able to visit White Castle. If not for the movie Harold & Kumar go to White Castle I probably would have never known of this place. It was until I was on a business trip to Joliet Illinois where I spotted a White Castle, but I never had the opportunity to try until today. April 5th, 2009 coincidentally it is my wife's birthday (HAPPY BIRTHDAY HONEY, I LOVE YOU!), but unfortunately she is back in AZ and I am working in Illinois. Anyhow with much anticipation I drive into the parking lot and luckily for me I find a spot right in front oh yeah! I get out of the car and I immediately hear the soundtrack from the movie queuing up in my mind. I walk into the place with the biggest S#IT eating grin on my face, heading straight to the cashier (felt like I was walking in slow motion) and placed my order for (30 sliders, 5 french fries and 4 large cherry cokes) well not exactly more like 4 cheese sliders, fries and a medium sprite, but it was kinda close by comparison since I haven't been there previously! I was hoping that (NPH) Neil Patrick Harris would appear out of nowhere and pay for my meal, but no luck there! So I pay and by the time I am handed my receipt my order is up and I see 4 tiny boxed cheese burgers and boxed fries accompanied by a empty medium cup. I head on over to the fountain dispenser fill up my cup and claim the nearest table. Being the person that I am I take pictures of my food, so I whip out my Kodak Zi6 and snap some stills and record an HD snippet. I look up and notice that some of the other customers are looking at me like I am nuts! I finished my recording and began to work on one of the sliders, the first bite was delicious, everything I had imagined it to be, it was such a beautiful moment I felt a tear run down my cheek! The slider disappeared after the second bite and I thought to myself "WHOA I need to pace myself" to fully participate in this experience otherwise this will be over before I know it. So I get into a rhythm and wind up polishing off the remaining three in about 7 mins. Which is not too bad since I could have killed them in less then 2 mins. They were what I expected and I definitely would go back for more and chances are I will between now and Wednesday. OK I love white castles. I even love their breakfast sandwiches. But this place couldn't get you food fast if their life depended on it. I feel for them because it ain't easy to get kitchen staff these days but they've never been able to keep up with the line. They spent a ton of money to revamp this place. Put in two drive-through's, and even have somebody take your $ outside like Portillo's. They get 5 stars for trying but their kitchen staff is just TOO slow. We had a great experience at this location tonight. We almost left because of the long line, but we decided to stay and are glad we did. Considering the line, the wait was very quick. We paid for our bill and my bf realized he was short on his change. Before he could mention, the friendly young lady at the register came to the window with the $5 and apologized profusely. She accidentally dropped it and a fellow coworker picked it up for her. When we got home we were pleased to see a ton of extra pickles on our sandwiches like we asked for.
