Not bad. Wish the food would have been warmer though. NOBODY LIKES COLD TACOS. Easy fix. The flavor is there and I like how the tacos are not overly greasy. I spend 100 bucks on 3 people. read more

A bottle of Coke and a regular burrito for 21 bucks. And the lady at the checkout was just ignorant, no professionalism whatsoever. read more

What a joke. They wrapped the container with my rice and beans in plastic... not so it didn't so Spill but because they didn't want me to check it. So I just opened my burrito and I have seen pizzas with less grease. Missing the lettuce and sour crème. I will be returning this. read more

All in all, this is an overall decent spot to grab a few tacos and enjoy a nice meal. The ambiance, while nothing fancy, is decent enough and bright and cheerful. As for the ambiance of a Mexican restaurant, I prefer these hole-in-the-wall type places over a fancy type ambiance. For me, Mexican food is one of my favorite cuisines, but I have never associated it with a high-end, high dollar cuisine that needs a high-end ambiance. For me, the real star in a Mexican restaurant is the food. The service was friendly enough and again, the food was good. The asada tacos were good and I would definitely recommend them. If you are in the area, check them out. read more

Prices....ridiculous! 2 tacos, corn in a cup and a pinapple water... $27! If you want to stay in business in Joliet, you might want to lower your prices a bit. You won't last long! read more

Stopped here for the first time to grab 2 tacos yesterday because I was in the area. I do not live in nor stay by Joliet. I ordered 1 steak taco and 1 chicken taco. The steak taco wasn't bad. The chicken taco tho, my first bite into the taco, had a long piece of black hair in it. So disgusting!! They had no problem with refunding my money but once again, I do not stay that way. Tacos were almost $5 with a piece of hair in it!! Yea, won't be back!! read more

Great new fast food Mexican restaurant serving delicious food. Stopped in here for lunch while working in the area and the place was hopping. A friendly lady took my order and the food came out fairly quickly. Their menu is not huge but once I looked around to see what people have ordered the decision was not easy. Decided to go with steak burrito and I was not disappointed. It had great flavor and if for some reason it didn't hit my taste buds just right it comes with two small containers of different sauces and few lime wedges. While I was waiting for my food, a guy sitting near by mentioned to me that he has been to this spot few times and food is always on point. I agree, great food. read more

Love that it's open 24hours I do uber there all the time, always on point. I even spend my personal cuz it smells so good

Food is absolutely disgusting. It was good when it was new. Now you can tell they don't care. Ordered tacos for delivery twice. Spent over $50. Complete garbage. Made for drunks and people who have no taste buds. Dry flavorless steak. The el pastor was so over seasoned I choked trying to eat it. Never again. I'll stick to Los comales. read more

Always open always tasty. Love both the steak and al pastor tacos. Don't listen to any reviews below 4 stars as they are clearly bots from Taco Bell to steer business away from this amazing establishment read more

Hours are so convenient, we were craving Mexican food at 1am finally decided to stopped in; fast service, good food, spicy salsa, HUGE portions reasonable pricing! They did have a mini rush come in even though it was a random Monday says a lot , overall gets the job done. We recommend the pastor over the asada though and rice beans could use salt. read more

Too expensive and unfriendly service. I felt unwelcome and stared at when I walked in. Im sorry I don't speak Spanish, so it was difficult to order and I did not understand them either. Im pretty sure the girl at the register was laughing like she was making fun of me. Super uncomfortable. I should've just left. $23 for 4 tiny steak street tacos and a Jarritos. I won't come there anymore. read more

Tio's Tacos I was driving home after school, and saw that for the first time Tio Tacos wasn't super busy, so I went in. I've driven by it before, and wanted to try it, but there was always a line of people waiting to get in, so today was my lucky day. I don't know when this place opened up, but I wanted to try something new, and since they seem to be doing a lot of business, I reasoned that it must at least be passable, and they did not let me down. When I went in, the people were really friendly. When I walked in, the interior was blue, and I saw pictures of food on the wall, which made me wonder what I was going to get. The service was excellent because they showed me the menu and gave me a seat while telling me what they would recommend and what kinds of meat they had when I told them I had never been there before. I waited about 10 minutes for my food before leaving. When I got home, the food was packaged well and was still hot and ready to eat. The dish had fantastic taste and texture! The Al Pastor was one of the best tortas I've ever had. The bread was soft but crispy at the same time, and the meat was delectable. I noticed the depth of the chili peppers' smokiness, and it was mildly spicy upon first taste. Then, a spicy rush hits you like a bus. The green sauce they had was distinctive because it lacked any flavor, but what made up for it was the horchata I had because it was good and tasted smooth and creamy as if it were homemade, and it is one of my favorite drinks. Overall, I'd rate it with 5 stars! The cooks did a good job, and their heart and soul was also in it. This is going to be a new place to eat at on my list and I'll return because the service was excellent. Tio's Tacos is the place to go if you want good meals and if you're in the mood to eat at a Mexican restaurant. I highly advise that you check this place out. read more

My second time here. We were over charged and when corrected everything went down from food quality to customer service. I was corrected and my food was still not correct. I atremped to swap the food for the correct order then it was still wrong. I have never been so disappointed in a Joliet establishment. I want the hosts to know how's much they lose when they treat people like money can't be spent elsewhere. I have photos, receipt's, and witnessee. Even the cooks didn't want to serve me. Such discord and disrespect. Ms. Tycee Bell read more

This was our first visit to this new restaurant. It was packed so be ready to wait since it's the hot, new thing. They were out of their signature "al pastor" by the time we got there around 5 pm today (which also happens to be Taco Tuesday). They have a special "taco Tuesday" deal which may be why it was gone so fast, but since this was our first visit, we can't say for sure. The order taker told us that steak is the next popular choice so we went with that & got some steak tacos. They were really delicious. They also put some sauce in the bag that was like a combo of guacamole & green salsa. It had a bit of a kick, but it was good too. My daughter got the steak burrito meal & loved it. I tried some of her refried beans, but I didn't like them. They tasted like they were out a can to me, but she said they were okay. I much preferred the beans from another Mexican fast food place near there to these. Their rice was very good & tasted very authentic though. Overall, the food was delicious. The horchata was very flavorful & fresh as well. It was a little sweet for me, but still delicious. I don't normally drink anything other than water or tea w/out sugar. Everyone else thought it had a great taste & was perfectly sweetened so it just depends on your personal taste. We look forward to trying some new things from their menu over time.I couldn't find any menus for Joliet location online so we snapped these pics while we were there. I always like checking out the menu if I can beforehand. read more

Amazing food! You will not regret eating here. The tacos are bigger and the salsa is amazing as well.

Heard lots about this place. And it lives up to the hype. Had the burrito de lengua. Very tasty. Totally going back soon

Got a taco de pastor and a burrito with carne asada and chorizo. Food tastes unseasoned. Basically bland. Definitely fast service. I would probably only eat here again if someone is paying for me or if I'm drunk. read more
