The burger was made out of a blend of beef short rib and brisquet with fresh lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles and a specialty sauce. The sauce while good was something I would change in the future to straight up mustard as I think the burger would have been better based on personal preference. The burger also came with a side where I chose their house fries which were excellent and one of the better fries I have had in the area. Relative to staff and facility, the restaurant has a compact footprint which limits the amount of tables this business has along with counter seating. Something to keep in mind if you are headed here during busy dining hours like a Friday or weekend nite. Staff was very friendly with prompt service and nice followup throughout the meal. Overall a nice dining experience where if Burgers are your thing you should definately check this business out.

We stopped by here on Saturday since we had popped over to Brighton to get some things at Gamestop…read moreand I just wasn't feeling any of the Brighton restaurants. Howell we have just started to really explore and we had a great experience at Diamonds and I wanted to go again. Unfortunately they didn't open until 3PM on Saturday (11AM during the week, but not weekend :( ) so I was pretty pouty and grumpy when we saw we couldn't go there. Also the Thai food place doesn't open till late on the weekends too, SUCH A BUMMER! But we knew there were other restaurants open that we hadn't tried yet, so we trudged to the main street and my SO pointed out this place which he wanted to try before (we had gone elsewhere, kiddy corner to it and was disappointed, so I was a little skeptical about this place) I'm really glad we did give it a try. I was hungry and grumpy at that point so I just marched across the street (once the little dude showed up on the crosswalk indicator of course) and sat down at one of the booths (it's seat yourself) and the bartender greeted us with menu's very quickly. Very basic menu, burgers, the sodas and teas were $2.25 (maybe higher, they put tape and wrote over the top of the previous prices) and I about had an aneurysm. We stuck with water (we swore off soda anyway, but I was going to get a tea until I saw the price). There was a couple of dudes having lunch by the window and us, so it was pretty empty which we liked. After we put in our order (he got a burger with bacon and I got the Irish sammich, which is essentially a rueben) and he went back to the kitchen a couple more dudes came in and sat at the 8 top and announced "We have more coming." And by more coming he meant like 9 children, 4 more dudes and a couple of their wives and one daughter. So yes, a nightmare in this case. It seemed one of the staff in the back (a cook?) had suggested this place to them as he went and sat with the men and chatted with them. Maybe they were part of a school sports team, the little boys wore hats and gloves with "Renegades" on them. I don't know the Howell school area so I can't really say for sure, but the cook guy had that hat on too at one point, so maybe he has a kid in it or his brother's kid in it. I'm probably analyzing it too much but hey, had nothing else to do while we waited. The food was great. The burger was delicious and the reuben was very good as well. My SO had a side of onion rings and I had fries. We couldn't finish them all after we polished off our sandwiches. But they were good all around. At this point though, the huge group had put in their order and we waited a good 10 minutes without receiving our check. I decided to go up to the bar and have a beer so we moved over to the bar. I could tell the very small staff (I think 3 people?) was busting their bums with this large order and children orders so by the time I finished my drink it had slowed down enough that I requested my check and got it right away. So good first experience with the food and the servers. The large party sort of dampened the mood for the rest of us but they can't control that. Hopefully they got some good tips from that group because it went from a sleepy Saturday afternoon to a zoo. (the kids were actually well behaved, sat at the tables didn't run around too much, but everyone was sitting in different spots so splitting the checks at the end must have been hell).

Their menu is small, and I almost regretted stopping in -- especially with the loud, possibly inebriated customer at the bar. But, I did find something that intrigued me -- the Moe's salad. It was a large plate of lettuce, cucumbers tomatoes, lovely grilled mushrooms and olives (which I wish I'd seen on the menu because I would have asked them to leave them out) with a large sliced burger on top. There was also a LOT of bleu cheese. I'm not much of a fan of bleu cheese, so I ate some of it, but left a lot. The salad was pretty good, and certainly large. The iced tea was also perfect -- I didn't need to add any sweetener to it. It seems like one of those places that locals go to; most of the other customers were greeted by name as they walked in. I didn't have any pickles, though.

They came with celery and blue cheese or ranch, we got the blue cheese. I like that the ribs came with a veggie, good choice not to only do carbs as sides. I am sad that I did not try the lobster roll, but I felt that I should get what they are know for first before venturing outside the box. The people working here seemed friendly and helpful. We were able to order and pick up in a reasonable amount of time, it was packed here in general. I am not sure about using the QR code, I just went to their trailer and ordered in person. This place is a big expensive for what you get, it is typical of food trucks to have small portions and high prices. But, if you are eating here, you are paying for an experience. This is a party atmosphere for all ages. You can eat outside, which we did, or inside. They have lawn games outside and arcade games inside on two levels. I would eat at this place again. I would just like to see perhaps a larger fry portion or slightly cheaper burger price.

I am too tired to cook so we explored several new dining options. This being one of them. The weather here is glorious. Gentle breeze, not too humid and about 80°, which is far from the high 90s. I would be experiencing at home. I have been enjoying the mocktails I've been trying so I also ordered one here. It was also watermelon based and very good. We sat out on the patio and after I moved out of the direct sun it was a very comfortable. Taylor was our server and was great -giving us plenty of time and some good suggestions. My nephew, who loves Bavarian style pretzels, ordered that for an appetizer this evening not only was it huge, but it came with three different items to dip it in! Cheese, Jalapeño Cream Cheese, and Cinnamon Butter! Each one had been freshly made and whipped and was very good. The pretzel was as late and fluffy as a Bavarian pretzel could be and was nice and warm so the perfect item for dipping in the above mentioned delicious dips! The nephew ordered Chicken Parmesan and also ordered some Roasted Parmesan crunchy Potatoes as his side, I ordered the Pecan Crusted Chicken Breast over a lovely Green Salad with Balsamic Vinaigrette on the side. Both of our entries were delicious and my nephews Parmesan crusted roasted potatoes were also very good. We each admitted we would definitely order them a second time and maybe even a third!! It was very pleasant dining on the patio. Our server Taylor was very attentive and checked on us frequently, ensuring we had everything we needed. This place was very busy, essentially packed and obviously a very popular place for Friday night diners! We could understand why and we would definitely like to come back!!

I was told this was Fenton's best dining. Spinach and artichoke dip had no salt and the dip was grainy - almost gritty. It tasted better with salt. My ribeye was greatly overcooked, and for a $45+ steak, you want it cooked correctly. I sent it back and the second ribeye was somehow more burnt and also included a lot more fat. It was so bad it seemed almost intentional the second time. Mac and cheese tasted packaged/pre-made with grocery store bacon bits on top. The garlic potatoes were good. We waited for our check for 20 minutes after eating. Staff members were leaned against the bar and talking, scrolling cell phones, playing with their hair - while looking over at us repeatedly. I finally stood up to go to the front and three waitresses all came over at once and took my card. The manager came over to bring the card and apologized for the delay. Wouldn't come back - if this is Fenton's best, go to another town over for dinner!
