First time being at this location, and I will definitely be going back. Restaurant was nice and clean. Even the kitchen area looked clean from what I could see from the counter. Food was hot and fresh, and just hit all the spot it needed to for my hunger. Service could have been a little better, but can't really blame them since it was right in the middle of the lunch rush on a Friday. Walk in it's really clean inside. Was not greeted right away. We ordered the new garlic parm sliders asked for extra sauce told them we like a lot of sauce on them. Wait time for that and the rest of our order was about 15 min and that's not bad with as busy as drive thru was. I did get our food to go so when it was ready, I went to my car my daughter and I pulled out the chicken sandwiches and looked at them. There was not sauce so I ran in and asked can I get some extra sauce and the lady work in the fryer looked at me with an attitude, lean back and told her coworker. I put plenty on there then she kept making more snide comments the entire time I was standing there like I could not see her or see the dirty looks that she was giving me the whole time below his pictures of the so much sauce she put on my Stuff. Your customers do not go in to get dirty looks attitude and snide comments when simply wanting their food the way that it was ordered I did not have an attitude. On my way home from work at about 8:45, I stopped and bought 4 original sliders w/cheese and a soda. The soda was good. I have to say this would be the first time in my life (I'm 61) that I ever got a bad slider from WC. All 4 were dry, crispy and didn't resemble an old fashion White Castle. We love White Castle and eat here whenever we are in the Midwest!! This particular White Castle is new and clean, very efficient and convenient to the freeway. The sliders are perfect - served up hot right off the grill to order. It's everything we love about White Castle - quick, convenient, and DELICIOUS!! The store was dirty as there was trash everywhere on the tables. Trash cans were full and soda machine was all sticky and most drinks out of order. The kitchen staff seemed okay but the manager that was on vacation for 21 days was very rude. She refused to refund us the difference for a deal we saw but she rang it up wrong. Once we asked for corporate number she all of a sudden was able to refund the difference. The same manager pulled out her phone and talked to her husband and then put phone back and not once washed her hands and started making food again. BBB will be hearing from me and my family about their bad business practice about the deals and not helping us out. You would hope a business would take care of their customers and not take advantage of them. read more

Drive thru is way overcrowded. attendee didn't care about if the order was correct. Food was like any other white castle.

Again had to wait 20 minutes in the drivethru...of your going to be open 24 hours please staff accordingly!! Then I get home to eat my food and I ordered my cheeseburgers plain. Guess what?? They are not plain!! Terrible terrible terrible!! I called and talked to el Donna (I think that's what she said her name was) and told her what happened. I heard her in the background asking someone what happened. The person in the background said the burgers she made for me were plain. Ok I'll post a picture and you be the judge. First time at a White Castle. The sliders were good. The loaded fries would have been better without the ranch. It had a twang to it. The chicken rings were interesting but my son liked them. The soda machine was a little messed up and they were completely out of napkins. The bathrooms smelled like someone had smoked in there. The staff was friendly and our food came out quickly. Excellent sliders. However, I got stuck with a $5 order of onion rings, not knowing they only had small and HUGE sizes. The only discernible taste was "STALE". The breading was rock-hard. Fast, greasy, hot, friendly service, and most importantly delicious. I might lose friends over this, but as much as I like White Castle, Krystal much better. Still though, it never stops me from taking advantage of a trip to White Castle when I'm near one. This particular location happens to be right off of the interstate and is a good option if you want to get something quick to eat and get back on the road. wasn't going to review White Castle, but when I saw the reviews from out of town people that aren't familiar with White Castle and the whole experience. White Castle's are definitely a part of growing up. I've been eating at them since the 70's, and yes they pretty much are a regional thing. One thing however is that to me at least, the taste of a white castle burger hasn't changed in years. while I don't eat them as often as I used to, I do find that a sack of whities can really do the trick to satisfy your hunger, or crave as the saying goes. I've been to this location a few times, and each and every time I have a pleasant experience, regardless if I am using the drive-thru or dining inside. I find the restaurant to be clean and maintained nicely, the service is really good, and fast, carrying on the white castle ways and traditions as usual. my burgers or sometimes fish or chicken sandwiches as the case may be are always tasty, and worth every penny. While it may not be the best alternative for your dining plans, White Castles do have their appropriate times to be eaten to be best appreciated, during a party, after a night out, even just to satisfy a late night craving. read more

This was one of the cleanest White Castle restaurants I have ever been in. After living somewhere with a White Castle for 4 years, I had to stop when we passed here while on vacation. The staff was friendly and the food did not disappoint. They were everything I had dreamed about and next time I am that way, I will be stopping back in. This is my 2nd White Castle visit this week. I didn't dine in at the first, and normally don't, but I went inside today. My, oh my. The dining room was trashed. At least 5 empty tables that hadn't been cleaned. Soda machine was a touch screen system that was sticky and gross to touch. No napkins, even after being told 3 times they were out (by myself and 2 other customers) after 30 minutes inside. Ketchup bin was sticky as well. Just a whole grimy experience today. I don't expect it to be fantastic, I mean it is a White Castle, but come on. Also my food was cold. Cashier messed up my order and I gave them 2 stars because of how nice he was about it when I told him. They gave me my upgraded meal at no extra cost. I'll always come here, but today's visit was terrible. Hopefully next one I can update this to 5 stars. read more

I have been here multiple times and each time I asked for extra pickles and the receipt says extra pickles and they give me ONE pickle. I understand mistakes happen but they do this EVERY TIME. It is ridiculous!!! So today we paid for extra pickles, got one on each and that's it. And asked for cheese sliders and paid for that yet no cheese. It's pretty ridiculous! What does it matter to them to give us the stuff we paid for?! Half of the burgers had rough hard edges and some were really soggy and squishy. If you didn't grow up eating White Castle then you probably won't get the hype. Our trips to White Castle were an experience that I will never forget. Standing on the other side of the glass watching them flip those onion covered square patties with machine like precision. Anxiously awaiting while they boxed each individual slider. White Castle became a family staple... that is until they got the bright idea to level the old building for a smaller, more modern building. For me, the nostalgia was a big part of the experience. I have visited the new building many times, and every time I am more disappointed than the last. There is an odor in the air like they are cooking hot sewage on the grills. You will be hard pressed to find a clean table. I have visited the new building an ample amount of times hoping that it will get better, but it just doesn't. I will say this, the sliders still taste the same. Maybe I never liked the food, but more the idea of White Castles and that idea is now gone. I have been a fan of White Castle for years. Having grown up in South Saint Louis Mo I visited them quite often. I love the taste of them even if you get bad gas from them later. I live in Springfield Mo now and I can't understand why we do not have a White Castle. With Missouri State College campus being here a White Castle would go over huge. Cape Girardeau has one why for the love of God can't we get one. Stopped at the one in Festus on the way back from a visit to see my brother. The place was dirty and the service was much to be desired. The counter guy a total dumbass kid it took him five minutes to understand that I wanted a crave case of sliders with cheese. It took twenty minutes to get my case of sliders. The sliders like always were fantastic. But these people really need to get on the ball and clean that place up and improve the service because they really weren't that busy.
