Once again I didn't listen to previous Yelpers and went anyways, for memories sake just like many others have done in the past and also got burned for it. The last time I had WC might have been in NYC and I remember it being pretty gross, I should have left it at that. When the hotel I'm staying at gave me a map of restaurants around and I saw White Castle on it I nearly choked on air. My heart stopped. I HAD to go. Having a dog with me, I decided to go through the drive thru. The lady on the speaker helped a bit though she was very distracted and when giving suggestions on popular things to try, she recommended things I already ordered. That part made sense when I got to the window. When I pulled up they were blatantly flirting the entire time. Doesn't bother me. Until I'm handed my food after a hot minute and told to have a good day and I ask about my drink. She spacefully "oh yeah!" grabbed it and handed it to me then shut the window. This should have been my cue that my meal would taste the same. Btw. When I said Orange soda, you said Hi-C or Orange and I confirm Orange soda. Hi-C with Orange flavor is not Orange soda. As the taste and receipt shows. Durp. Thoughts? It's slimy. Whatever meat they put on it drips to the bottom and is off balanced. It's few bites of "hmm what is this OMG WHY IS THIS SOAKED IN ???" The mac n cheese bites looked suspicious. They were space looking and dry. I bit into one and couldn't do it. The sloppy joe - are nopes. I tried the regular burgers with and without cheese. Just what in the unknown? Why did I eat this stuff as a kid? I can't. I can't finish this review. Reliving the taste makes me want to vomit. Why 2 stars? Purely for keeping the chain open for others to relive the memories like me. I want to take all of my family here and watch their reactions. read more

Hello I went to the White Castle 5055 central ave ne mpls I placed my order at 957 pm for a 1016pm pick up I received my order at 11:03 pm They not only got my order completely wrong he confirmed it by saying my name before me at the window and I have indeed the wrong order my household has allergies and I can not feed this to my family for I have only burgers with onions and onion chips in this order. I did not receive my order and I am now out of food and money there were no managers on duty and everyone there seemed high and unable to work I am very upset and demand a refund for my family is extremely disappointed and unable to be fed and need some one to reach out immediately read more

First time coming here. I was definitely craving some veggie burgers and their chicken ring specials. Their food is always great. Prices aren't bad at all. Place looks great inside and out. There's definitely ample amount of parking as well. They have take out / dine in as well. read more

Chicken ring sandwiches , barely cooked. Sausage sandwiches over cooked Fries were cold. All I can say positive is the Hispanic gentleman at the drive through was courteous. read more

DADDY & DAUGHTER MOMENT I just made my little girl watch Harold and Kumar Go to White Castles, so when we were heading back to our hotel, we couldn't resist. The White Castle location was lit up like a beacon from across the street, I had to take her. She didn't really want to go but you can't make magical moments like this. Ha! She rdidn't want sliders but I talked her into cheese sticks and a chocolate shake. She was in love with both of these items. Personally I've never ordered these items for myself ever. The cheese sticks were okay but she loved them. She really enjoyed her chocolate shake. She even said, "This is better then a frosty!" Sorry Wendy you just lost her. I did try it and I must agree with my mini foodie. It was heavenly. I ordered six sliders with cheese. When we got back to the hotel I could only enjoy two. It was after midnight and I was extremely tired. They were good but not what I remembered. It's been over 10 years since I've eaten one of these little things. It will probably be another 10 years until I come back. I blame Harold and Kumar for making me want these at midnight. The only thing that would have made this trip complete would have been a visit from Neil Patrick Harris. I'm glad we got to experience this place together. The sliders are not as great as I remember them but I'm grateful for this experience with my little one. It's never every day you can experience art imitating life or vice versa. Bad! My co-workers and I thought we'd place our orders online to save the hassle of ordering when getting there. We had ordered online and placed our orders 2hrs early and managed to have time to it by the time we get there (app.20 mind before our lunchtimes) to pickup. Anyway it was not done not time and my boss had to wait for a while. The worker at WC stated they did not look on their online orders- when I had received a confirmation email that it will be ready and that it is paid for.please be more alert and ready for online orders/pickup orders, if this loc is given orders to pickup and deliver! read more

We ordered 22 sliders, 2 sacks of fries and 20rings and it took then less then 5 mins. They did an awesome job!! Inside has been remodeled but the tables look unclean. Some ppl bought 2 crave cases and they did fast service. We ate inside and they filled our fries to the top to where they had to put a plate under. read more

I'm not going to lie here... it feels odd leaving a review of a White Castle on Yelp, but this White Castle is legit. They actually forgot some of my food, but I drove back and explained the situation. They apologized and hooked me up with more food than the items they had forgotten. They hooked me up with a chocolate dipped cheese cake for forgetting some items on my order. I wish I was never introduced to this perfect treat because now I understand how people get diabetes. The worst part about this experience is that I have been introduced to a new addiction. I believe I know how I will go now. Sometimes, knowing how you go will allow you live fearlessly. I was greeted with one of the chefs saying "you want me to kill you now or later" because I placed a large order 2 1/2hrs ago. It was more than 30mins late when they completed it. If I wasn't getting it for my team at work I would have left and asked for my money back. Will never come to this one again that's for sure! read more

Visited for a quick bite. Post lunch-rush. Zero line. Basic order. Very long wait time. Cashier literally didn't say one word to me. Stale/soggy room temp fries. I have no problem waiting but at least give me something hot. A 2-star rating is me being generous because it wasn't a complete disaster. read more

So my son won a race at Midway stadium and guess what he won? 35 White Castle sliders! Can someone say White Castle party?!? We went to pick them up and also ordered a couple sacks of onion chips. They said it was taking a long time for them to get our crave case together so they gave us some complimentary sodas. AWESOME! but it really wasn't taking a long time...but still AWESOME! The service here rocks! The onion chips were great. nice and crispy. the dipping sauce was okay. it tasted more like mayo to me. The sliders were not that good. We never did finish off the crave case and there were 6 grown adults there. They were smothered in onions and pretty awful looking. Considering this is what they are known for, I took that into account for my rating. There you have it, get onion chips, don't order the sliders and have some awesome customer service. read more

White Castle is nasssssssssty! Except during the hours of bar close to pass out in your bed with your make-up on, then chicken rings and cheese fries sound like an absolutely delicious good idea. The sliders, however, (shudder) are never appealing no what moment of life or drank o'clock. read more

This is a tough one: while the menu is exquisite, the wait time to procure and shove its items down my foodhole is harrowing. It doesn't matter what time of day or how many cars are (or aren't) in front of you in the drive-thru, the simple transaction will become an all-consuming, arduous task. Did someone fall asleep at the fryer? Is the system down? Unlikely. They probably need to hire more people. I only ever see one person frantically running around doing everything. Every time I've been, they've never utilized the pay/pick-up windows. My deepest sympathy for the employees. The new make-over looks nice and slick. I keep coming back because it's What I Crave™. But hire more people and pay them better! The slowwwwww waits are excruciating. read more

The most patient White Castle i have ever known. My friends and i have frequented this White Castle on many booze fueled escapades. As i'm sure we aren't the only ones. Imagine working at this place and at a moments notice at 3 am you get an order for 100 sliders and in many different styles. I can only imagine the horror when they saw our vehicle drive up and the long hold up of a busy line on a Saturday night. I give them 3 stars for being the best they can be, i deduct two stars because of what happens to all of us the next morning. I don't wish that experience on my worst enemy. Went there today and pulled up to drive through at 6:37 with 3 cars in front of me. Took 13 minutes to get to drive up order area. Placed order and was told to go to second window. After pulling up took another' 7 minutes before food was handed to me. 20 minutes for drive up food? Food was fine but would not consider this fast food! read more
