Customer service is horrible. Food is not good either. Don't waste your time here, not expensive but also not worth the money.

Ok, so im not really sure how to rate this particular location. Honestly, I've had good and bad. The last 2 times we came here were horrible! out of the previous 2 times, it was mixed as to why I gave them 1 rating. - service the 1st time and the food the time before this one. So 1St -(several months ago), the lady takings order was very crabby because people called off. Which is understandable. But what is not acceptable is taking it out on the customer. We can only be forgiving for so much. 2nd( 2months ago] buns were hard, litterly just thrown together. Just a little dollop of cheese on fries! So here we are to - Now This time. It's 3:14 am. No one is in sight. I litterly sat at intercom for at least 9 minutes after a few i was saying hello? Hello? I tried to call 2 xs. Nothing. So as i was leaving. They apparently answered for the car behind me. So, I just swallowed my frustration and drove around again. Placed my order and waited a good minute for my food. And went home.. they apparently gonna keep their 1 rating with me.°°°°°°°°°°°°°°So I have come back to edit this review°°°°°°°°° Above is all still true. As I have mentioned before in my other reviews- I have lupus, and I am in the middle of a flare-up, to which im having food sensitivity. With each flare-up what effects me changes. last time dairy and chocolate. This time texture and smell of meat. .so was not expecting much. But.... Let me say this. THE FOOD WAS ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. When we were done eating, we both had wished we ordered more! it was that delicious. The buns were soft. The meat was hot, and the fries actually had cheese! The shake was perfect. Not to thick but not runny at all. Meal was perfect minus us, apparently wishing we ordered more. So Im torn . I'm still not sure if it was a fluke, but it it was enought that it went from 1 to a 3 and givr this location another chance vs. when i started this review scoring a 1 and the decision to avoid this location altogether. read more

I decided to try White Castle while I was in the area, and I was HIGHLY disappointed. The service was bad, the food was bad. I'm not sure if it was just this particular location, but this experience has made me not want to try White Castle ever again. Oh yes, the burgers were definitely soggy, and the taste was just bad. I personally love White Castle and of course some of that is nostalgia from my childhood. The restaurant quality and service has plummeted over the years. However, I still love the product and that is what keeps me coming back . I will give the restaurant, ownership, and service 1 and the product 4 . This place is a complete disgrace to the White Castle brand. We went at dinner hours on a Sunday, but you would have thought it was 3am given the level of apathy inside. The staff obviously didn't care at all. One of us ordered coffee, but they didn't bother to do anything about it until pressed about our missing coffee, when they finally remembered that they were out. They then informed us that none of the four of them back there knew how to make more, so apparently they haven't been trained to do anything other than stand there. All the food looked depressing, and I could taste the apathy oozing from my sliders. The lobby was freezing. I thought someone in the back was vacuuming, but it was just the hand dryer in the bathroom continuously running. At least each of the four sliders came in their own little box, which was cute. I've gone to this White Castle location several times and had no problems however.... On 6 September 2021 I was told they were not offering sliders. I understand the need to clean. However, this location is 24 hours. I've come at the same time many times before. And yet... I Kever order slider which have never been a problem. I'd rather you just say "no... I don't want to work" then I would understand. So instead of sliders from White Castle I'm getting burgers from McDonald's. My money might not be a lot to share holders but it's all the world to me. This location has the veggie sliders! I know that not all locations are offering them so I want to be sure to point out any locations that do. Keep in mind that the veggie slider patties are vegan but the buns are not. (Buns are vegetarian.) White Castle corporate office says that they are working on a vegan bun. I assume that if the sliders do well, they may become a permanent staple. As for this location specifically, this is my go to location whenever I go back home, and per my DD's request, it is always the 1st stop. So when I was home last month, I got to try the veggie sliders. They were very good! Try them plain, with ketchup, or with the Thai sauce, which is vegan. Yum! I know from past experience that this location commonly messes up orders, so just be sure to double-check your order before pulling away from the window, or off of the lot. Customer service is hit or miss. Sometimes you'll get attitude, sometimes you won't. But it's White Castle...home of the gas burgers; people come here for punishment. read more

I was not impressed. My experience was not good. I ordered two double cheeseburgers and three mozzarella sticks. I had to ask for ketchup and marinara sauce. The worst part was that the burgers were slapped together. The bread was hard on the edges and there were no pickles on the sandwich which it is usually one or two. At this time of year, I look forward to two things; Catholic Church Fish Fry's and Clam Strips from White Castle. I don't know what it is about the clam strips from WC, but I like them. I really, really like them. I grew up enjoying the clam strip dinners at Howard Johnson's and these strips take me back to those memories. It's a simple quick easy finger food lunch. This year they introduced Crab Sliders and I'm looking forward to giving them a try too. Today, I paired my strips with my favorite Double Cheeseburger and fries. I balanced it out with a Diet Coke. For me the best fountain sodas come from White Castle. They keep the soda lines clean and have the right combination of flavored syrup and carbon dioxide with purified water. Normally, I do not use a drive-thru, I always go inside a restaurant if the dining room is open. However, today I had my fur-baby Murphy with me and I didn't want to leave him in the car alone. It was a long line in the drive-thru, but I was amazed how fast they moved through the process. The young lady over the speaker spoke clearly and was charming and polite at the window. Will I return? This location seems to be much slower than the others. The last time I ate here they forgot items from my order. I ate here today and they forgot 2 of the 10 burgers I ordered for a coworker and myself. After waiting in line for over 15 minutes I do not have time left on my lunch to go back to their location. A group of us came here on the way to the St. Louis airport. It was dumping snow, 12" that day, and we discovered that this White Castle is a great place to camp out during a snowstorm. Overall excellent service. Our server was super friendly, patient, and helpful while a big group of us tried to decide what to order. She convinced us to try the chicken rings which were delicious. And I do feel slightly ashamed to admit that. She also let us customize our order to get half of each type of burger and multiple flavors of chicken rings. read more

I came to fulfill my White Castle dream. I thought 4 sliders was all I needed, because I am a White Caste virgin. Fortunately my friend ordered the crazy pack with more sliders than I can carry with my hands. Yeah, 4 was not enough. I don't think anybody can ever get enough of these bad boys. It's like eating popcorn, you just eat and eat and eat because it's like eating nothing. 3 bites and that slider is gone. 3/5 is because as much fun as it was to eat here, the burgers wasn't really all that great. If I could give these ignorant people negative stars I would. First off, I had a DoorDash order I was picking up, they had everyone waiting 10 minutes before they even started talking in the speaker. Then they just stuck their hand (that had no gloves on and long fake nails) out the window and said $20, when I told them I had a DoorDash AGAIN, she just shut the window and walked away for 25 minutes. Then she comes back, gives me one bag for a order with 18 items in it. I checked the bag by feeling the outside and there was only 6 things in there. I had to honk to get their attention after sitting there for another 6 minutes. She finally comes to the window and says 'what' then I tell her that I'm missing 12 items and my drinks that were shakes. She says they don't have shakes now and to call the customer then shuts the window. I call the customer who says she would like two large drinks in place for the shakes, after she takes another 20 minutes to get the other 12 items she comes back, hands me the bag and shuts the window again. I knocked on the window and said I need two sodas to a different girl who comes and says no you got shakes, I tell her that the other lady said the shake machine is down so I need a Diet Coke and Cherry Coke. She comes back and says 'no we can't do soda in place of shakes' I'm like well the customer already paid for it sooo..? Then she comes back and says 'no the customer didn't pay for the shakes, we took them off' when I know you can't just edit DoorDash orders from their system. So she closes the window and the other lady comes back and hands me two small Dr. Peppers. I said 'No, I wanted a Cherry Coke and a Diet Coke' then also said 'Can I just keep the dr. Pepper for waiting so long.' After she tells me to give them back. She ignorantly says 'no you can't cause you ain't getting nothin' for free' after I already had the sodas and they aren't supposed to take them back cause COVID but she says give me the dr. Pepper, I'm like well I already touched it and put the straw in it, and she ignorantly grabs it out of my hand when I tell her you aren't supposed to take it back then she says 'well you aren't supposed to go through peoples bags' so I tell her that the customer asked me to look inside cause they have gotten stuff wrong before. She slams comes back 5 mins later with the right ones and a eye roll. I ask her if I can speak to a manager since she was being so ignorant and she yells back sarcastically after leaving the window open a smidge 'Ohh manager!' In a tone where we knew it wasn't about to be an actual manager. Then a girl about 16 comes to the window after 7 minutes of sitting there comes and says 'what' like she had soo much going on when they were all in there just messing around. I ask her what her name was and she says 'Leah' after taking a second to think of it. I thought she said aleah so I ask again and she says 'no just Leeah' and spells it out after making sure she got the right name to spell. So I tell her 'thanks, I'll just call the actual manager since you don't seem to care' and left. Needless to say these night crew people should get their shit in order and check their attitude. There is no reason anyone should be waiting for over an hour for their food. read more

Online special now I know why it's special they only put half the things in the bag you order. Wanted monster it was an up charge but I don't mind but they were out and the manager on duty was extremely nice about it. So I said just give me a bottle of water. The girl at the window gave me a cup of water wasn't that concerned though. But here's the issues, Ordered mobile and order was 4 regular sliders and small fry, plus drink! I ordered extra with fish bubblers seven items right well I got 5 of the seven, forgot the damn fries and the younger girl at the window has a seriously bad attitude. I've gone to this white castle a few times after grocery shopping at the nearby walmart, and usually get mozzarella sticks that come with marinara sauce. All but one time in the past they forgot the marina sauce and i had to eat them plain. This time I wised up and stayed at the window to check to see if it was in my bag, and of course it wasn't. The girl at the window tried to ignore me sitting there for several moments before finally acknowledging me, then she rolled her eyes as though I was doing something wrong for asking for something that comes with my meal. Then when i got home I realized the cheese sliders that I also ordered were just plain sliders. They weren't even busy. There was just one car ahead of me ,nobody behind me, and almost nobody inside yet they managed to mess up both things that I ordered. Came in on 10-15-16 AROUND 10 pm. We had placed an online order and ended up needing to make another. There was only 1 person in the dining room and then whoever in the drive through. We stood at the counter for maybe a 5 minutes all the while no one acknowledged us . Finally a manager came by and took care of our order. White Castle is one of my favorite fast food places to eat, food is always fresh, restaurant is usually always very clean.

Always respected when I go in this location, very busy White Castle so I tend to be patient when it takes them a little time to take my order and make it. Always fresh and extremely happy with the amount of onions they put on their sliders, most other locations lack that key ingredient but these guys take the cake for sure! Had a mobile order for pickup. I was the third car in the drive thru. I got to the speaker, said which order I was here to pickup, and was told to pull forward. First window; repeated I was here for my order and told to pull forward. Second window; told to move forward to the third (vacant) window. Watched the next five cars behind me order, pay, and receive their food. I tried to ask for help but the worker in the window blatantly ignored me every time. Eventually parked and went inside. Employees looked at me like I was stupid and said they're starting on it now. I asked how it was possible when I had stated I was here for the order 20 min ago. The worker told me that I never announced that I was there, which is a blatantly lie as I had already said I was there three times. Canceled my order and left. All I ordered was a fish slider meal. Been quite a while since I've been to a White Castle...now I remember why. Rudeness and pathetic service. The person taking the order had to be told 3 times. The person filling the drink order said they didn't have any drink holders. Though the server asked if I wanted any condiments, he didn't ask if I wanted eating utensils or napkins....neither of which came with the order. When I got home, I discovered the food to be luke warm and there was no ice in either of the drinks. Since the compressor in my fridge went out today and I haven't yet repaired or replaced the fridge, I had no ice at home either. I wasn't about to go out to buy a bag of ice for 2 drinks and I certainly wasn't going to drive all the way back to this White Castle, so I resolved myself to not return to that White Castle in the future. Lesson to be learned here.....if you absolutely feel the "crave", check your order at the window. Personally, I don't like making cars behind me wait while I check to see if a fast food staff prepared my order right, so I'll choose to go to almost any other place and get the right order without having to check it myself. read more
