The dentist and the dental hygienists were very nice and professional, HOWEVER, the front office staff was horrible to me insinuating that I was trying to commit insurance fraud which is a FELONY. I have NEVER had anybody accuse me or insinuating anything illegal about me especially since my family and I are quite well known The receptionist and the front office manager (who both should know better if she was good at her job which she's not and should be punished or fired) condescendingly said, "Well here we follow the state law." What is she trying to imply that I don't?! That's insulting and a nasty and unprofessional to say to a patient who is new and you don't know at all. I have a reputation to uphold. Then the office manager continued to be very condescending and nasty to me and said in a suspicious, disrespectful questioning tone, "Is there a reason WHY you don't won't BlueCross Blue Shield being billed as primary?" I was taken aback and very shocked at how disrespected I was. I work for an insurance company and I have a background in management and if I ever treated a customer, patient, client, provider, etc. like this, my boss would have fired me for fear of a lawsuit of a defamation of character or at the very least get written up for abusive or argumentative language because of an office manager and receptionist who do not know how to talk to people. I work everyday where I have to tell callers that my company that I work for has to be billed as primary in order for their medical claims to be paid accordingly, but I speak respectfully and professionally and kindly tell the callers inquiring about their medical claims and how to bill to us and say, "I apologize, but we have to be the primary payers when you bill to us." The office manager, who is blocking me from talking to the owner recently (yes, he may be busy, but I haven't even received a voicemail message from here so here we are). I didn't ask nor wanted any dental coverage from my company that I could not opt out of because I already had dental coverage from Delta Dental Of SC (which I had for YEARS before this current job that I'm not going to have much longer) which I thought I could bill as primary, but the front staff could have been more respectful and addressed me better than insinuating something as serious as Insurance Fraud which is a felony. The front staff is making me question whether or not I want to continue being a patient at this facility because of their unprofessionalism and accusatory language against me and I'm not going to tolerate any disrespect again as a patient who should addressed more respectfully because dental work is not cheap in this country and I am paying a lot of money for a dental service, not for nasty attitudes or behavior all because I had Delta Dental Of SC for years and always had that insurance for years and this job is not permanent for me. I find it interesting the front office quickly to insinuate a felony crime against me over insurance had for years that I thought I could bill as primary. It makes me believe it's my skin complexion (I'm a Black Woman) and I would not surprised.

I dislike "chain" dental office mostly because they tend you make you feel like a just a number; my experience at Dr. Chung's office was the complete opposite, making it one of the most pain and problem free dental visits I've had (no cavities doesn't hurt, either). Easy 5 stars - I'll be referring this office to those I know in the FLO. Quick location tip, office is located on the south side of Cashua, opposite Delmae Elementary - otherwise it's not hard to find.

Kayla is warm, friendly, conscientious, and EXCELLENT at cleaning (even near my sensitive areas)! She is wonderful! (My hygienist from 5 years ago talked a lot and didn't clean very well; two very unpleasant and consistent qualities.) Dr. Hunt, always so smiling, warm and friendly, talks to me when he comes in and before his exam, which is refreshing (considering he's the only Dentist I've ever experienced this with). I like how he tells me how my check-up went which, again, is unusual from my prior Dentists who would say not much of anything. My asking, "Does everything look okay?" was my normal question at my prior Dentist. Last thing. The lobby is tidy, charming, and calming and the office staff is friendly, smiling, and inviting as well! Ive tried to rack my brain to offer even a slight constructive critique and I cannot find one thing. Even the price is reasonable and (especially without insurance) is an important point.

They seem really nice until something goes wrong and then they ignore you and refuse to reimburse…read moreyou. Dr. Shelly pushes expensive dental work for sales reasons. I finally gave in after the dentist told me I needed crowns on all my molars and let her do my back molar. I paid $1000 up front in good faith that the work would easily be done. When she worked on my very back molar, she caused nerve damage to where I was in severe pain and sent me to a specialist to see if I could get a root canal before the crown was placed. The specialist told me I basically needed the tooth pulled because my nerves were calcified. I ended up having the tooth pulled due to severe pain and they refused to refund any of my money. So I basically paid $1000 to lose a tooth. Don't go here. They seem nice but all they care about is money. It's a chain dentist office and they have sales goals.
