When I shared that information with the owner, she knew exactly what I needed. She showed me a cute t-shirt that had an airplane on it with the caption, "Take To The Sky". It was perfect. Now I just had to find out what size to buy. The owner remained patient as I texted the grandma, so I purchased the right size. The t-shirt was considered a summer items and all summer fashions were on sale for 20% off. So I got a great gift at a discount. (Original price was good, too). I paired this t-shirt with a couple of Hot Wings toys from Funky Planet Toys, a fabulous locally owned toy store about a half block down the street. Alton is lucky to have these two children's stores in their downtown. As a bonus, both are women owned.

Their website states that substitutions will be of equal or higher value and that the overall theme and integrity of the arrangement will remain intact. The arrangement I purchased did not fulfill this promise. For example, in the website picture of the arrangement, there are 8-9 roses. In the delivered arrangement there are 3. Multiple other details are missing and the final product was a sad downgrade to the original. I don't take giving poor reviews lightly as I know this is someone's livelihood. I wrote the owner to express my dissatisfaction and was basically dismissed. I am posting the website arrangement and the delivered product. Buyer beware.

For over 15 years I have flowers requested for my husband's grave. I live in another state not…read moreaccessible to the state he's buried in. A Wildflower Shop has done really great on flower arrangements, delivering them and sending me a picture of the beautiful arrangements placed at his headstone. They have even done more. My husband and I had our last dog together and I requested a remembrance for him as well. They complied and I have been very pleased and happy to be one of their customers. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Since they've moved to Godfrey, their location is closer to my home and that may be an issue for me. I may end up shopping here more often. They also had some amazing photographs and art works for sale. One really caught my eye and I may be going back to get it. I'm eyeing spaces in my house now. Other great items were their jewelry offerings and jelly & jams. I love a good jelly. Jelly is what makes your PBJ tasty. I've shopped full-price retail stores that are not this well organized. I liked that they have mens shirts separated by style. It made it easy to shop for short sleeve casual. I got lucky today and found three shirts. They were clean, had all their buttons and I didn't see any rips or holes. Once I rewash and iron them, they'' be ready to go. I went to use the self check-out and they had a young lady there who did it for you. She was great. She was perky, friendly, personable and professional. Other retailers would be lucky to have someone as good as her. I'm getting over my dislike of thrift shopping, so I'll be back.

And even the baby section at time. However I have been able to find some great pieces here and they frequently update their stock.
