I'm not a huge fan of malls but based off of the way Noah answered the phone, I decided to go in. He greeted me with such enthusiasm that it immediately made me smile. I asked him what the best entrance was to get inside the store and he told me his favorite way and even gave me directions from a parking garage just in case it was raining. He was kind and silly. I loved every second of his phone presentation. So my main reason for going into the store was to return some items that I had ordered online because I didn't really like the scent of them. I was greeted immediately by the manager (Margaret) who was extremely patient, kind, and genuine. I can honestly say that I have never had an experience like the one that I had at this store yesterday. They let me pick out new items and then also showed me some more items that I might like. The other associate, Kayla, helped me find some items that I might like and got me super excited about the sale. I came in to exchange items and left with so much more. The enthusiasm and genuine kindness these three people showed me left me feeling so happy. I told them that I would be leaving reviews online and filling out whatever survey I possibly can for them. They went above and beyond any expectation I possibly could have had. I also will not be purchasing Yankee Candle online unless I have to ship an item to someone and it will be easier that way. They have earned my business and my word of mouth referral. Thank you for being so wonderful. I wish you all the best in your life and I hope you all never let the world taint you.

    When I was younger I had the papasan chair that Pier One is famous for. You know, those large round…read morewicker chairs that have a huge cushion and look like they are hard to get out of? I had the matching futon too. Twenty five years later I no longer sleep on a futon and my taste in furniture no longer includes papasan chairs. Pier One is not really one of my favorite stores. I think the prices are high for the products they sell. I was cleaning out my wallet and I found a gift card I received for Xmas. I know they usually have a good candle selection and I can never have to many candles, so off I went. My intention was to run in and buy a candle and leave quickly. That didn't happen because I loved this store so much, I spent a good half hour browsing through the store. And I didn't think they were overpriced at all. In fact I thought the prices were fairly reasonable. I love a good bargain and they had a lot of clearance items in addition to 20% off tons of different things. They have a huge selection of throw pillows, lamps, tableware, candles, trays, papasan chairs, furniture, wine glasses and just so much more. The lighting is dimmed and the store is loaded with various displays set up randomly throughout the store. I had a lot of fun shopping here. I wound up purchasing two very large peach ginger scented candles. They were originally priced at $16.99 each but I found them on a clearance table for just $9.99! I also picked up a simple but pretty glass tray to place the candle on. The two employees I dealt with were both professional and they really wanted to help. I love great customer service and this store nailed it. If I can change one thing it would be to brighten up the store a bit. The dim lighting made shopping a little difficult but luckily I was able to use my flashlight that's on my phone to help me see. The checkout process was smooth. And I received a 20% off coupon for my next visit too. I regret staying away for so long because Pier One is a fantastic store. I definitely will be coming back here to shop for myself as well as to shop for gifts for family and friends. Check out the clearance tables when you go, they have great items drastically reduced. And who doesn't love a bargain?

    I found this place through google as it had good reviews but was disapointed, not only with the…read moreflowers but how management dealt with it. I was out of the country and ordered 2 dozen red roses for delivery to her work. Later in the day I received a call saying that: "your 2 dozen red roses where not available and my options were A) to have them sent to a home address or B) have an assortment of white, lavender and red". I would have loved to have 2 dozen red roses, but being sent to her house would have ruined surprise as I did not know if she would be home. I asked the quality of the roses and if it was going to be nice, she said their flowers are always fresh. My friend received the flowers at work and them home to enjoy them for the weekend. I asked her how they looked as well as for a picture. She told me that 2 were already dead (not even 14 hours later from delivery) !!! The red roses were fine, however the lavender roses were not. I contacted the company right away as I was disappointed and not happy after paying what I did for "fresh flowers" and to begin with not the red 2 dozen. The response I got from Josh (apparently the owner) was to take another picture and this statement "Flowers do not always grow tall and straight, sometimes there are bends and curves in the stem and may appear to be droopy ". Now, do you really think I'm going to ask my friend to take more pictures? I was already embarrassed with the situation. I normally reach out to the company to make it right and not post anything negative, to give them a chance and they did not. I do not recommend this place, for that I would have gone to 1 -800- flowers and would have saved myself $142.00 Josh: It will not let me reply back to you on this post other than email you personally. Yes this order was over a month ago, I messaged YOU right away on July 28th while I was in Sicily, Italy. I travel for work as I am a pilot and I addressed the situation immediately, you asked me to take more pictures (as I stated on the review) and I will say it again that I did not want to ask my friend for any more pictures as I was already embarrassed and clearly you wanted to go back and forth and I travel every day back and forth and cross the Atlantic pond on a weekly basis and do not have time to call and spend money over seas to argue. So until I had some time on the ground and back to the states, and knowing nothing would happen is when I take the moment to do my reviews. I gave you the opportunity to make it right and you didn't. So the moment I made this review a few days ago is when you decided to call me 4 times in a rows (you claim that you kept calling me to make things right... no, you tried calling me after seeing the review, never when I reached out over a month ago). When you called me 4 times, I was in the air (with wifi) and clearly I was not going to answer. Below is YOUR only email response when you wanted me to send you back pictures (again never a phone call), after letting you know I was very disappointed. So yes its been over a month that YOU did not want to fix it, until I posted it on Yelp, google and if theres another site I could post the quality and bad management I would: "Hi and thank you for reaching out to us. We could have delivered the 2 dozen red for you but it would have been later in the day. We presented you with the option I assure you, after 26 years in business, we do not sent out dead product. Do you have any other pics besides this? This lavender rose in the picture isnt dead. There may be a few guard petals on the Rose though. Flowers do not always grow tall and straight, sometimes there are bends and curves in the stem and may appear to be droopy. If you see this in a picture and not in person, I can understand how it can look at times. Can you send another pic of the flowers? Possibly the whole arrangement so we can have a better look at the arrangement as a whole.     We bought a Breville coffee pot from the Sur La Table in West Palm Beach earlier this week and…read moreafter putting it together, it was not functioning. My wife called Breville and they told her it was malfunctioning and to bring it back as the water didn't heat and it didn't drip. We attempted to return it to the Sur La Table in Mizner Park in Boca Raton with the original purchase receipt from West Palm Beach. The manager of the Boca Raton store, Anastasia said that since it was opened and used that she would not be able to issue a credit throughout credit card account, but could exchange it or give us an in store credit. This is contrary to what was printed on the receipt. From other stores, we have made a purchase at one store and returned it to another of their stores. Recently, we purchased something from Tommy Bahama when we were in Sarasota and was able to return it to the Tommy Bahama in the Boca Raton mall. There was no issue as we had the original receipt. Why did we get a hard time returning a defective coffee maker to another Sur La Table? We tried setting up the coffee maker but we never were able to use it as it didn't work. We now have to make another trip to West Palm Beach to return the coffee maker to the Sur La Table that we purchased it from within the 30 day return period. This is a big inconvenience to us. We will be telling our friends and neighbors about this experience at the Boca Raton Sur La Table. We no longer will shop at Sur La Table.
