I remember specifically a Flamingo umbrella near the front door that stands on its own feet. There was also an incredible collection of clocks on the wall behind the sales person. They were highly unusual and unlike anything I have ever seen anywhere else. I simply loved them and I am seriously sorry I did not take a picture of them as well as other items. But I had a good reason, or so I am saying with this excuse. I was busy choosing one of their elegantly packaged large triple milled bars of soaps from England by Michel Design Works. In the end I went with the Shea butter soap scented with Lilac and Violets. Such a heavenly scent. Expensive for a bar of soap at $11 but to quote L'Oreal, I am worth it. Triple milled soaps last a great deal longer than other bars of soap. Yup, you guessed it right, I have a high quality soap fetish! The owner of the store was extremely lovely and knew when to let you be and examine her unique collection of items and when to chime in and provide you with additional information about her products. A rare gift in most gift stores, in my not so humble opinion.

Harriet eventually accepted a part time job in the store and when the owner retired Rachel purchased it Lifestyles Giftware carries items for men, women, children, and pets. You can pick up that perfect birthday, anniversary, or wedding gift. Don't show up empty handed for the hostess or just treat yourself. Shop clothing, accessories, bed, bath and body, candles, home goods, kitchen items, and stationary. They carry brands Pampa Bay, Golden Rabbit, Mud Pie, Britto, and Mariposa to name just a few. My favorite items included a dog print makeup bag, the elegant serving dishes, adorable salt and pepper shakers, and lovely glass perfume bottles. Next time I need a one of a gift, I will be stopping here. The also offer gift wrapping. One thing to note is that the plaza is cracking down on parking. You must scan the QR code on the signs and register your plate now or risk being towed.

The hotel was built in the Spanish Colonial Revival-style of architecture and it opened in 1926 as the Alterep Hotel during Florida's wealthy land boom years. It's distinctive yellow color and history makes it one of the most recognizable buildings in Delray Beach. The are several little shops in this area of the building including Beach Paradise, a women's clothing store and a gift shop, Just Hearts. Salutations of Delray was started by Diana Bush in 2004 as a result of searching for invitations to purchase for her daughters upcoming wedding. They specialize in custom wedding invitations and announcements along with custom stationary and greeting cards. Other things they carry included linen towels with funny phrases, Pampa Bay tableware, Nora Fleming stoneware, Thymes Frasier Fir candles and diffusers, items that can be personalized, children's gifts. and party supplies. The store motto is "Everyday is an occasion...celebrate in style!" Writing a letter and personalized stationary seems to be a kind of lost art in the email world of today and I love that you can rediscover that here. They will also help you craft the perfect invitation or announcement and don't forget that there are so many unique and whimsical items for gifts or gifting yourself. Inside there were a number of appealing items from vintage ties to china bric a brac and from books to home decor. In every corner was a potential collectible or cherished antique. We had fun browsing and my husband even found something to buy. It's either a unique gift for his cousin or he might keep it himself. The owner was quite personable. He mentioned that they do estate sales and removals. I commented on a number of small cat statues that they'd been given and he gave me the history behind them.

Candy is sold packaged and in bulk. This is the first store I have been in where you can shop for a gift and mail it there too. Prices weren't bad either. In addition to all of the gift items they also have all the mailing supplies you would need. Once you package it up, just take it to the back of the store and mail it off.
