Chris sold us a car and the check engine light went on on the way home. Brought it back the next day and he kept it for three days and told us we had to pay for repairs and wont take the vehicle back. DO NOT BUY HERE! read more

From the time I pulled in lot until I left with the truck I wanted it was a great experience no pressure sales no following you around like a lost pup and was smooth and easy and Travis and owner were great to work with, we will be shopping there again read more

We had a GREAT experience with these folks. W have never had such a good experience with a car lot. Each one was friendly and helpful. The driver side visor was missing. They ordered another one. It did not fit just right so they ordered another one. We were surprised they would care so much about a visor. But we know it wasn't the visor it was us....The customer. -WOW!- We wish there was a way to let more folks know about them. We HIGHLY recommend them. read more

Sold the car I was looking to buy out from under me. Would've paid the entire cost to hold it. Not a business run by people who care about anything but money. read more

As always the service and professionalism was outstanding. I've been purchasing vehicles for my family from here for many years and keep coming back. Highly recommended read more

What a great place to buy a car! I was surprised to find the Audi I was looking for in a small town of 7500 people. The car was serviced and detailed to perfection. NO surprises. The Office manager Taryn was my main contact throughout the purchase, and was very attentive. Taryn did the paperwork and had financing options, but I paid cash. I met the owner Ed White when I picked my Audi up. What a great place! I recommend White's Auto Sales to everyone! read more

The people at Ed White were excellent to me. I am in a difficult situation with health issues for my wife. I contacted White's the day before I had to leave looking for a car to rent. Prior to that I had checked in Lafayette for a rental and all I could get was a full size SUV. I was driving to Richmond, VA. and needed something good on gas. I explained my situation and they told me they would have a car for me. When I got there the car was ready to go and it was only 1/3 of the other rental cost. I told them it would be late Saturday before I could get home and that was not a problem, just drop the key in the drop off box. And they went above and beyond. When I picked up the rental I noticed my driver side tire on my car was low on air. Knowing what was going on, Troy White told me not to worry about it, that he would take care of it. When I dropped the rental off Saturday night I was wondering if they looked at my tire. Not only had they looked at it but it was fixed and ready to go. They didn't have to do that but they did. All I can say is that from me White's deserves a five star rating. Understanding my situation they went above and beyond for me to take one worry off of me. Hometown people showing they care. Thank you Ed White's for everything. Dave N. read more

I would try to go anywhere else but here. I was definitely pressured into buying a car. The night before my car caught on fire and I had to work midnights so I borrowed a car. I then went here first thing in the morning, told them my price range (8-10 thousand). I told them I wanted to look at the lot and they pressured me into not doing it. they brought me a couple cars that were in my price range. He tried to persuade me to buy a stick shift when I didn't know how and then pressured me into trying and said he would teach me. It was clear he really wasn't interested in getting me what I wanted. He then showed me this amazing car that was 14 thousand. I wanted to sleep (literally I worked until midnight and hadn't slept yet) before I made any decision and he then became very rude with me, saying that he had spent the whole morning working with me and that he leaves at 4. I then told him that I need to sleep! He didn't care. The only reason I bought a car from them is because I had to work the evening and needed a vehicle desperately. RUDE, disrespectful, and too manipulative! Oh also, I live in Valparaiso now. Something was wrong with my computer so Midas in Valparaiso called them and said that the car would need to go to their shop. Without calling me and asking me if they can pick it up, they just went and picked up the car and took it an hour away. And then when I finally found out where my car was, they expected me to come pick it up! WITH WHAT CAR!!!. Then when I got my car back, the inside lights were not working and I had to have someone else hook it up to the computer. They honestly just caused more problems. Hate this place! read more

Absolutely do not recommend doing business with whites auto sales. This is my 2nd car from them because the first one they sold me the transmission blew within a month of having it. I understand things happen so after 2 months of driving a rental while they try to put a new transmission in, they finally decide this car is just not gonna do after my multiple complains. Long story short they wanna just get me in a new car. I picked 2012 Chevy Cruze. Which I'm way happier with then the 2008 Ford Taurus and was able to get it for the about the same price. Well last week the timing belt on the dash popped up saying it needed replaced. No big deal, I have a good warranty. I call and schedule an appointment. The day of the appointment comes and I drop my car off at 11am my appt was at 12pm. By 4:30 pm I still hadn't heard anything about my car, so I decide to give Ed whites a call. I'm then told that they're currently trying to get the "lights off" and I'm like what lights? And the guy became very rude and basically yelled "the lights on your dash" and I said why would u be trying to clear the light off the dash when it's clearly there for a reason? Like the timing belt needs replaced? Replace it and the light will go off? So I basically explained how I don't understand why nothing has been done to my car and all they're trying to do is get the light off my dash so I don't see it when I drive. That's not fixing the problem. Then Troy the owner got on the phone and said they were doing an oil change, when I wasn't even due for an oil change for 3 thousand more miles. And mind you the free oil changes come with the warranty. And he then says "do u not want us to give u free oil changes anymore" like what? It literally comes with my warranty...... I simply asked why I wasn't given a call if they weren't gonna do literally anything with my car. And I was told do u want us to fix it or not? And I said obviously. They said they could keep my car and then I said ok well am I gonna get a rental? Which also if something gos wrong with my car, I am also in fact covered for a rental. I was then told my keys would be in my car when I arrived. Because they didn't wanna see me. I've never in my life dealt with such inconsiderate, rude, people in my entire life. If you wanna be treated like a human being go anywhere BUT HERE. read more

Needed a car for 2 days for a business trip and White Auto Sales did a great job getting me an affordable car that had great gas mileage. I wasn't able to return the car until after they close and they have a great drop box option so it wasn't a problem at all. read more

We checked around to rent a van with all of the big names and decided we wanted to stay with a locally owned rental place. All of the places I checked were renting 12 or 13 model year vans. My big mistake was not asking what year of van they had to rent. I just assumed..... I made the reservation and told them what time we would be picking up our van. We arrived that morning at the specified time and they didn't know anything about our rental. They went out and brought a van up and then told us we needed to wait for an oil change. When they brought the van out it was a scuffed up 7 year old van. We were already late in leaving so we went ahead and took it. It was a bottom of the line van when it was new. On the second day the air conditioning quit while we were in New York and it was 94 degrees out. After driving around for a couple of hours without air conditioning trying to find somewhere that would look at it, my husband finally checked the fuses and relays and found a bad one and changed it. The van drove terrible and we were so disappointed. My husband returned the van and the girl that checked it in didn't really care that we weren't satisfied with the van. They did take one day of rental off of the bill for our trouble with the air conditioner. read more
