Took delivery of new Civic in Oct 2024 and the vehicle had deep scratches on DS mirror, the door pillar panels were all scratched, a door was out of alignment and there was a chip in the front DS fender. Pretty sure the PDI is supposed to catch these issues and they should be addressed before the customer picks up the vehicle. The dealership agreed to replace the panels as well as replace the mirror assembly. Panel replacement required that the trim on all the doors also be replaced. The dealership had the vehicle for about three days and when I picked up the vehicle I discovered fresh scratches in the paint on the PS windshield pillar, DS window pillar, both mirrors as well as on the window seals along the door. There was a dirty fingerprint on the cloth door panel as well as dirty dust fingerprints on the PS door panel. The same dust/dirt marks were also on the edge of all seats closest to each door. I also discovered that they did not replace the mirror assembly as was promised and written on the work order. I sent numerous emails to the assistant service manager Sarah Evans as well as the sales manager Trevor Carew as well as the general manager. This was in November, and at no time has anyone from the dealership attempted to contact me to address my concerns. I realize problems can arise when servicing a vehicle, but professionalism would dictate doing the right thing and addressing the issue rather than ignoring the customer and hoping they will loose interest. Taken from the Whitby Honda website: If you're part of our "family", you already know about our commitment to outstanding customer service and satisfaction and to being your dealership of choice in the region. Sounds like a great commitment, unfortunately, I found that this is not always the case!

Worst of the worst. Stay away from this place at all costs. We have huge cut outs under our vehicle. I asked why, was told the running boards were stolen. Our vehicle never came with running boards. Uhhh. We paid to have the damaged part replaced because it was not covered under warranty. They put the wrong replacement part on. 2023 crv

Worst service/ buying experience ever! Beyond the salesperson Whitby Oshawa Honda did not have our winter tires ready when we picked up the vehicle. In addition they lost our second key. Very difficult to locate someone that knew what they were doing.

This is concerning because I am a single mom of two young children. SHAME ON BAB's who should have never let this vehcile be on the road to begin with, let alone completing an illegal safety. I spent $11,000 and was left without the use of a vehicle three months later and Bab's just shurgs their shoulders and refuses to acknowledge the severity of the situation.

I purchased a very fine looking 2017 SUV from BABS AUTOS for $22,050 CAD in 2023, trusting their word and reputation as I got a referral from a well respected man. It read 110,001km. What I received was a completely written-off vehicle! It was a salvaged car that should not have been resold, let alone at full market value. The vehicle engine was welded to the frame and rust proof spray used. I found this out from the other dealership. Note that they have their mechanic who does the safety check. So everything is in-house, so to say. I had paid in full but did not get the vehicle until a month later at 110, 320km. They had added more than 300km. I was indeed naive and too trusting towards my countryman in a foreign land as a brand new immigrant. I should have known that when you pay for a vehicle, you should get it within the week. Sadly, i have learnt the hard way! When I started having issues with it within just a year later, I confronted them with the discoveries, instead of owning up and taking accountability, they gaslighted me repeatedly, dismissing my complaints and frustrations and refusing to offer any form of compensation whatsoever. Rather, they suggested that I sell it on the Facebook market. The emotional trauma and toll of being manipulated while trying to resolve this blatant rip off was just as damaging as the colossal monetary loss, especially as a new international student. After many months of profound frustration and absolute zero support from BABS AUTOS, I had no choice but to trade the vehicle in for just $5,000 at another dealership; taking a massive hit just to move on. This was the highest i could get for it after trying several trade-in dealers. This wasn't just bad business. It was blatant fraud. If you value transparency, integrity and your hard-earned money, I strongly urge you to use your tongue to count your teeth!!!!

On Sunday, I was in Whitby and needed an ABM. I spotted this Scotiabank branch a block away from…read morewhere I was heading for lunch. Afterwards, I drove over here to deposit some cash. This branch was closed on a Sunday afternoon. There were two customers heading inside to use the ABM. I like using the drive-thru, so I checked it out. What I like about this drive-thru is that the lane is wide. You don't have to worry about scraping your vehicle if it is a larger one. It's a standalone branch on the southwest corner of Victoria Street West and Gordon Street. There was clear signage. I had no problem depositing my bills into the ABM. I will say that if you have crinkled Canadian bills, Scotiabank ABMs are more finicky and will reject your bills. My backup solution is to use a Royal Bank ATM. It has lower standards when it comes to crinkled bills and I am fortunate to still have my long-standing chequing account with this bank. Scotiabank uses ABM (Automated Banking Machine). The standard seems to be ATM (Automated Teller Machine) internationally. I suppose that Scotiabank likes being special in this regard. I don't mind it. I'm probably more aware of this details than most folks. I never went inside the branch to check it out. There is a lot of parking in the plaza. This branch is across from a Tim Hortons that was doing steady business. It's also across from a bunch of businesses, including Booster Juice that piqued my interest. I had a decent experience here. I'd drop by again if I need an ABM to perform banking transactions. (71)

This dealer really does live up to the old stereotype of the "used car salesman", even when selling…read morenew cars. The sales agent will say anything to make the sale, being dishonest about features the car may or may not have or claiming they don't sell a certain brand of winter tire in order to make the bonus sale for pushing a particular brand. When it comes to servicing, despite making an appointment for a specific time, they have no intention of actually servicing your car then. No, this is just an appointment to "drop off" your car, and they'll get round to it sometime during the day when it suits them. Be prepared to wait for many hours for what should be a simple and quick service. When you complain, the salesmen promise to make things right, until it actually comes to making it right. Then they deny ever offering to help you and will reluctantly let you speak with a manager. A manager that will either tell you he can't do anything, or to take your complaint to GM head office. If you do take you complaint to GM, they refuse to help you saying you have to speak with the dealership. We've had nothing but dishonest and disrespectful treatment from Ontario Motor Sales, and consequently will never buy from them again.
