The mechanics, at autosolve told me i was lucky to be alive. When I finally reached David Tavazoei at the used car center at the dealership after being run around in circles by the other staff he offered me 2k for the car in the state it was in, to "do the right thing and make things right with me" as well as 2k off the next car we bought with them. After hearing this I then reached out to another dealership in midland and showed them detailed pictures and told them my incident and they offered me 3k for the vehicle, but 1k more if the engine was in good condition. At this point, It was clear David was not offering me any sort of deal to make things right, after I had told him my situation, and was only trying to make another sale to get more business from me, and to get my review taken down to better their reputation (which he asked me to take down). We have a 5 month old baby who my wife needed this car for emergencies for, and also appointments since we live in the country and cant take a taxi/uber. We are now in the hole 12k now with our loan, and we are already struggling enough as it is just to get by. At this point, I have reported this business to the BBB for their shady practices, contacted the Newmarket National with my story, and spoken to the consumer protection board to file a complaint, and have now have gotten a lawyer (pro bono) to make a claim to take this to small claims court against the dealership as well. This has all been so much stress for our entire family dealing with this massive financial issue, and all the calls that needed to be made, I will be posting this everywhere I can to get the word out . we trusted this dealership to provide us a safe car!! DO NOT TRUST THIS DEALERSHIP FOR USED CARS!!!! THEY ALMOST KILLED ME, AND MADE MY WIFE A WIDOW. IF YOUR ARE READING THIS, THIS COULD HAPPEN TO YOU TOO!!!!!!!! Said they would check but only cleared the light and said it was a loose gas cap but after purchasing a ODB for checking status of of computer did we find out that there is a cylinder miss fire. So after trying to get these owners to line up to their promise of a two yet warranty and some back and forth they finally decided to look into the problem. They said they did a little tuneup which means that they just cleared the check engine light once again and not fixed the current issue. They will do anything to sell a car to you but will do Albert little to continue a good relationship with you after purchase. Stay far away from these people cause they do shoddy work and are more interested in taking your money and leaving you with expensive repairs, repaid that should have been taken. When I was shown the car I was told that it had been involved in a "minor accident" but not to worry as the repair had been done properly. When I purchased the vehicle it had around 91,900 kms on it. It now has around 96,700 which is less than 5,000 kms since I took delivery of the vehicle. In the time since, I've had to have the following bought, replaced or repaired on the vehicle: Used tires and rims $1200 (first week!!!) as the tires that were supplied were Winter tires and I was not made aware of this when I purchased the vehicle. New battery $120 (after 2nd month) New front end bushings and various other suspension parts $500 (after 3rd month) Transmission oil change as the transmission wasn't shifting properly ($150) around 3rd month The car is currently in the shop for the following: New clutch ($950) Rust repair on wheel well where the "minor accident repair" was previously made ($400) Woofer constantly cuts out on stereo (since the day I picked it up but only getting it looked at now since it's already in the shop) no price as of yet. Also, after taking delivery of the vehicle I had the following done to it: Synthetic oil change. The oil could not have been blacker if it had been tar. Air filter change. The filter was so black it looked like it could've been spray painted black. Spark plugs. Plugs were so worn, 2 of them didn't even have electrodes! I've had to spend over $3 thousand dollars so far and I haven't even put 5,000 kms on the car. If you were me, would you be a happy customer?

Upon purchase, I was sent to the Financial Service Manager. His name is Deepak Saini. He offered me a 4yr maintenance plan and pointed at the wall beside his desk. Showing me the number of times I would need to perform a transmission fluid change over the life of the maintenance plan. The cost of which would be around $800 each time and it would need to be done, as per the plan on the wall, three times during the course of the plan he was selling. (every 48,000 kms) This seemed reasonable to me to purchase the plan for around $5000 because the transmission service would need to be done three times and lots of other services are included also. Fast forward to Oct 17th 2025, about 1 year after purchase, and I am coming up for my scheduled transmission service, or so I thought. I spoke with the advisor to determine if it needs to be done on a weekday or weekend and then I was advised it would not be done until over 200,000 kms and would not be included in my maintenance plan. I spoke to Mr Saini, who denied using the large print service plan on the wall and three transmission services required at each 48,000km interval, at a cost of around $800 each, to con-vince me to purchase a maintenance plan for my new truck. I attempted to contact the General Manager of the dealership three times to resolve my problem. With no reply each time. I have been lied to by Mr Saini or he is unaware of what he is and is not selling for thousands of dollars. I have been cheated and stolen from because what I was sold is not what I have received. I suggest all future customers speak with the service department before purchasing a maintenance plan to determine what is and is not included. I hope the Financial Service Manager was just ignorant to what he was selling otherwise he knowingly lied to me.

I brought my 2020 C43 in for an AC Diagnostic as my AC was not blowing properly on the passenger…read moreside. I had booked my appointment for 9AM on a monday. I had received periodic text messages from Mercedes to remind me of my appointment. However, when I got there the two systems were not communicating properly.. I spoke with one of the greeters in the service area and in their system they could not see me. However on the master system i was showing up. The text messages indicated to check in online which I did, but again the systems for the online cloud and what was in the system wasn't showing the same things. They had set me up with an advisor after 15-20 minutes (Eddie Len), he took down my information and had me wait in the lounge until we could go inspect the vehicle together. I waited about 10 minutes and we walked over to my vehicle in the service area and I explained to him the issues I was having. Eddie had explained that the diagnostic would be around $350 or so, it could be a small leak but he would need the vehicle for 2-3 days. I obliged and Eddie had set me up with a shuttle to head back home. Eddie texted me and gave me updates as to what was happening, explaining that the work being completed would be covered under warranty. He gave me a timeline that it would be done on Wednesday. Wednesday came by and I received a message from Eddie, letting me know the vehicle was completed and to give him an address and time so they can have a shuttle ready for me to come pick up my vehicle. When I went to pick up my vehicle, they had done an exterior wash and also vacuumed the interior. I would definitely recommend dealing with Mercedes Thornhill and Eddie Len again.
