The Vine Room

My girlfriend and I decided to spend the day thrifting, antiquing, and drinking wine, and what…read morebetter place than downtown Hopkins? The interior was super cute, and the space was much larger than we expected. I ordered the red wine flight while my friend chose the white flight. The reds were unique but delicious! It was fun taking a sip, guessing the tasting notes, then checking the informational card to see how close I was. We also split a charcuterie board, which had the perfect variety of meats, cheeses, fruit, and accompaniments to pair with the wines. The staff was incredibly friendly and genuinely eager to help us find wines we'd enjoy. There was also plenty of easy street parking just around the block. We'd definitely come back!

I enjoyed a weekend day outing here. Was in the mood for a winery but didn't feel like driving far,…read moreso we opted for a local wine room. Friendly service. Enjoyed the wine flight options and the tasting experience and info about wine. Feels clean, bright, and new, and the bathroom is nice. There's a room in back they activate for events. There was a small vendor sale in there. They also have cute merch, jewelry, and goods for sale. They're on the higher price end. They offer free coffee from the Nespresso machine which is a nice touch. They have their own wine shop next door that is kind of expensive. Buying a bottle in the winery and corking it to go is a more affordable option if you plan to drink it right away.

The beds were very comfortable and the comforter was wonderfully warm, perfect for Minnesota winters. For anyone who sleeps hot, the room also includes a sheet and a lighter liner blanket. The bathroom was spacious and especially nice, with an angled rain-style showerhead and a separate soaking tub. The staff throughout our stay were very friendly, professional and accommodating. We also loved the extra touches that made the hotel feel fun and welcoming. The weekend arcade room had free-to-play games, board games, ping pong for anyone wanting to channel their inner Forrest Gump and classic arcade machines including the beloved Ms. Pac-Man. There was live music in the lobby bar area in the evenings and we noticed complimentary bicycle rentals available as well. Other amenities include a pool, hot tub and fitness center. The location was another major highlight. It felt very central to everything we wanted to do, with most attractions and restaurants we visited about 20 to 25 minutes away. It is also highly walkable, with the Galleria, Starbucks, Cold Stone, Target and more all nearby. Overall, this was a comfortable, convenient and genuinely enjoyable stay. We would absolutely stay here again.

There is a great selection of teas, they bag their own loose leaf. The teapots themselves are a good big size. The selection of savory food was so good. My favorite was the tomato crostini with burrata, parmesan, and garlic. The price is about the same as other afternoon teas. The peach tea was also the best. The staff were super attentive and nice.
