Very cute bakery on union street. So glad the union st development finally have a bakery in town, especially very delicate French macaroon desserts!! I think this is the first bakery on the development, I grew up in the neighborhood n we always have to drive to Schenectady, Latham or Clifton park to buy desserts. This bakery is the perfect addition for dessert treats. The baker was very friendly, You can tell there are a lot of efforts and hard work that went into the making of each macaroons with unique flavors and designs. WHAT I ORDERED Raspberry macaroon Mint cucumber macaroon Crème brûlée macaroon Pistachio macaroon $2.50 each per macaroon. TIP: put macaroons in the fridge if you can't eat it all in 1 sitting. I forgot to put it in the fridge for the uneaten macaroon at home, some of them went stale in a few days.

The only place I will buy macarons in the area and one of the few this side of the Atlantic. So many yummy treats and the variety is always changing just enough! I love having this gem in the Capital Region!

I ordered for a baby shower. Owner was super nice. The day of pick up, there was an older gentleman that was there, possibly her father, they were super nice offered to help me carry out my orders to my car. I love supporting small businesses, and on top of their customer service, I will definitely recommend them. Place is small inside but it's bright and cute. Their macarons are a good size and are scrumptious. The pistachio one was my favorite. It's not overly sweet. Cupcake were great too, I love that it was also not overly sweet. Definitely will he back to order more.

Today, we had a 10" Carrot Cake for an 18th birthday party. It not only looked picture perfect, it tasted great. The website describes the many flavors of cake available in different sizes in round or sheet cake style. When you call to order, you speak to a knowledgeable staff person to select a flavor, size, frosting, and filling. Then you select the decorations and colors you would like. The signature iconic script handwriting of their decorators is attractive and distinctive. You know it is a Villa Italia cake when you first see it. However, always check a custom order cake before you leave. When we picked up the Carrot Cake, the worker did not open box to show us the cake. They should be trained to show the costumer the cake before checking out! Fortunately, I did open box and saw a pink frosted cake saying HB Jackie. My cake was for an 18 yr old grandson. They fixed it so it looked nice, but it was not quick. Please check out my photos to see a few of the cakes we have ordered and enjoyed!

A fried rice with jerk chicken cost $16, which is ridiculously high, especially since I'm coming from Queens. But, I figured that the food was probably THAT good and let it go. As I ran through the menu while on the phone with my mom, the employees kept looking at each other and then at me. When I asked about cookup rice, I received a subtle attitude and saw the workers exchange looks yet again. Needless to say, the stares and attitude I received immediately threw me off as I would have purchased regardless of the price. However, I left without purchasing anything and will definitely not return there. Some advice: Don't give your customers dirty stares and exchange looks with your coworkers IN FRONT OF the customers.
