About an hour goes by I reach out to ask if they were still coming she says yes they got held up at Lowe's and will be there in 10 minutes. 20 minutes go by I start to call to cancel the appointment but saw them pulling in my drive way. The wife came in greeted me & appeared apologetic the husband "handyman" stood behind very stand off & seemingly annoyed. He came in my home I extended my hand and he was reluctant. Brushed it off showed them upstairs to the office and kids bedroom and what I needed done. I asked how long the service would take. Initially we agreed on 2-3 hours now it was 4-5 hours and they we're over an hour late. When I challenged the timeframe, the husband then abruptly blurted out "I don't need this!" Instructed his wife to grab his tools & I followed them out of my home. I felt very uncomfortable with them in my home esp the husband. He seem very unhinged & I smelled alcohol on him as he was leaving. They also left my office a mess. Don't leave ANYTHING to weaver!

Not only did they complete the job about a month earlier that the agreed upon timeline to finish but they did an excellent job. Additionally, we contracted them to complete our flooring job from a distance as we are currently residing in Texas while they worked on our home in PA. This can normally create hiccups in the process with communication but with Jim at the helm, we didn't miss a bear. He made sure to explain anything we were unsure of and responded to my many emails to ensure we were on the same page throughout the entire process. We trusted him with over 4,000 sq. Ft of flooring and three staircases and we are glad we did. we will use them again in the future to do our basement for sure. I will add photos soon.

Enforcement of the rules can seem random and tedious. For example, Becker's rules and regulations do not allow installation of outdoor television antennas despite the Federal Communications Commission Over-the-Air Reception Devices ("OTARD") rule (47 C.F.R. Section 1.4000) which prohibits such restrictions - forcing residents to pay for expensive cable or satellite television reception! Lot rental can increase without warning. Beware!

What we value most is that they think ahead and plan carefully so that the whole project goes quickly and smoothly. Their excellent work keeps reminding me of how the Empire State Building was built so quickly with limited space for construction materials, all because of perfect project planning. A similar job last year took another contractor 3 months to finish, while they only spent 3 weeks. Dave and Carlina are nice, easy to work with, and our cats loved them. Dave would spend lots of time thinking and comparing different ways to arrange the tiles so that the shower looks perfect. Carlina's communication is always prompt. They work with our schedule and the cabinet guy/the stone guy's schedule to line all ducks in a row. They go out of their ways to fix what they think is not perfect. They test everything extensively to make sure there is no leak. Dave and Carlina made the whole remodeling process so easy and even enjoyable, that we are finding new projects to work with them. They helped us find exactly the materials they would need while we were away. They worked throughout the Labor Day weekend to get the project complete in our time frame (our neighbors even noticed how hard they were working while we were away!) Two issues with the materials came up while we were on vacation and they were able to make the run to the store to get the updated selections we purchased online. When we returned home, their craftsmanship was excellent! Everything looked exactly as we pictured and we love it!! Dave and Carlina were great to work with and always very responsive with communications! Much thanks to them and definitely the highest rating possible!
