For our first "get acquainted" visit, she arrived with a clipboard and professional form to get info on our cats, likes/dislikes, where their food, water bowls and litter pans are located, name of vet(s), health/medical questions, what to do in case of a pet emergency. And then info about us and our house--alarm system info, newspapers/mail brought in, etc. We were bowled over with her professionalism. And they're bonded and insured. For about 12 years now Jan has watched our pets, and is always available--even on the rare but unavoidable short-notice need. She lets us know of her vacations well in advance so we can plan accordingly. Jan's business is as good as it gets, and reasonably-priced as well. She's a treat, and we're glad to know her!

Since we have changed to Ann, it is an entirely different experience. I don't have to worry about his health or the expense of a vet visit after picking him up. I received a call the day after Christmas, that my dog was howling in pain and couldn't get up. I…read moreasked if they could get him to a vet and they said no, I had to pick him up. When arrived they wanted to use ropes to lift him with due to so badly soiled. So we supplied our own blanket and carried him to car. He was in obvious pain, soiled, bleeding from mouth. He was immediately taken to animal hospital and advised had to be put down for fractured back and kidney issues. When asked for an explanation Randa immediately sent a refund saying upon my request, which was just for explanation. When followed up was told I can't sue because I signed a waiver, that it was my fault for boarding an older dog and not boarded before. I never made any accusations or asked for anything but an explanation. I'm so devastated I left my pet/family member in their care.
