All the walkers are great, caring and attentive to my pets needs. We leave assured our pets are being cared for well.

My husband was on his way to Columbus. I'm at the airport for a flight to Austin. The person we hired from Rover doesn't show up. Within 10 minutes Tom had plans for the dogs to be taken care of. There aren't words to express the gratitude I feel soservice that truly cares about the animals they serve. We've used Wild Things in the past and the experience was excellent. We had a horrible experience with this pet service recently. The pet sitter was not patient with my dog and did not let our dog poop or pee consistently outside which resulted in our bedroom carpet being soiled multiple times and she did not clean up leaving clumps of poop and pee for over a week. We had it cleaned but it still smells. We now have to replace our carpeting. Our dog has never done this and was upset, sad, and acted shameful upon our arrival home. She took my dog out and walking into our neighbors backyards. A neighbor has a picture with my small dog and pooping in her yard without picking it up. The neighbor also stated that she saw two coyotes running around just prior to this and was concerned for our small dog. Our poop container was not full; yet, the two roles of bags were missing when returning home. Our back light was on and after we saw she was in neighbors yards and she took a picture of a coyote close to my dog lacking common sense, we told her to let our dog out front and to walk her on the many sidewalks provided. My dog vomited with a picture provided and they claimed my dog was sick but at our intake we said our dog needs to eat or she will get sick. We provided ways to get our dog to eat and showed this pet sitter how to do it. My daughter came by to cut up cheese to entice our dog to eat and knows our dog well and said that she was not sick. We were told that our dog should have had a diet for sick dogs on a phone call afterwards and that they know because someone worked in a vets office. Really, we don't know our dog?! We had this dog service before and did not have a problem. I don't know who hired this lady but she was not good, upset our dog, and we will have cost of at least a thousand dollars or more from this experience. This pet sitter was also seen by my neighbors coming into my home with a male which I believe is against policy and it has made me very uncomfortable because we did not approve this. It is violating. She placed in her notes that my dog peed in our bedroom a few hours before we got home. She placed in her notes that she could not find cleaning supplies. Paper towels were on the counter and vinegar was the first bottle as you opened the cabinets under the kitchen sink. She made no effort in cleaning this. The pet service listened to our complaint and said they would come over with some spray. They appeased us by saying they were sad about their employee. That is it. Thousands spent, dog sad, and not attentive to the costs we have to endure afterwards. I am in North Aurora Illinois now and this dog sitter was from Aurora. I am not sure the owner of this company is aware of our dissatisfaction. He seemed professional upon meeting with him back in May and I hope we can have some resolve from this poor experience. Thanks. The owner called and is going to reimburse us for this service which was a weeks cost. He was upset and I hope they find some new good dog sitters because it appeared to us it was the particular employee that was the problem. read more

When it happened that Wild Things was not able to help us because we are outside their service area, Tom called me back with another pet sitting service that was in my area and who would be delighted to help us. This is the sort of "Miracle on 34th Street" customer service that restores my faith in humanity. What a fabulous experience we had !!!! Love love this company and dog walkers. We have boarded our three dogs in the past and they are so stressed out when we get home And we never know how they were doing. We hired Wild Things Pet services for this recent vacation. The dogs were so calm relaxed and chill just excited to see us like any other day when we got home. We met the pet sitters prior to. The system to set up scheduled walks and feedings and details on each pooch was awesome !! So detailed. We even got an update about the dogs and pictures after each visit and were able to respond to the dog sitter as well. Not only did they love our dogs walk them and feed them they took out our garbage and grabbed our mail. It's super inexpensive compared to boarding. Excellent pet sitting service! With short notice, Corinne was able to fit us in around the Thanksgiving holiday. We have two very "energetic" dogs and a quirky cat and all did very well with Corinne and Gabriella. During our week away, we received daily updates with pictures, which was really nice. Been using Wild Things for about a month now and wish I had found them sooner. I was spending $40 a day on day camp plus the hassle of getting the dogs in and out of the car/in to the building each day when Wild Things will come to your house, take care of them as if they were their own, and send fantastic detailed report of their visits. I've been using WTPS since my lab was 6 months old baby (she's over 2 1/2 yrs old now) for daily dog walking services and I have nothing but absolutely the best to say about Corinne and her team. Very professional and genuinely animal loving people. Scheduling is a breeze through their online client portal and Corinne is just a text or a phone call away for those last-minute cancellations or additional visits. Attention to detail and following special instructions such as special diets or medication is superb. I love the fact that I get the detailed journal after each visit. I can't say enough great things about this pet service. We got a new puppy and needed some dog walking on short notice. Corinne came out to meet with me and she and her associate were so kind. They explained every kind of service they could provide and we worked out times her service could come that woud work best for us and our pet, not on their schedule. They also send updates via their online service after every visit (and even include pictures!) as to how the visit went. The online scheduling service is amazing and so convenient. Often times, I have to change my schedule at the last minute and Corinne has been more than understanding and accomodating in being able to come by the house at the drop of a hat. I also love the online billing. I pay all of my bills online and it's so convenient to include my pet service care into my payment system.
