Love this place! They always try to collaborate with organizations to host events. The most recent event I attended was a charity event. It was a lot of fun and we had a great time! Other days, it's pretty chill and the bartender are all very nice. My only feedback is to have more IPA options & offer growler bottles. You can take a growler and fill it, but I would like a Whiner Beer themed growler!

Cute little venue. Nice drink options. Reasonable prices. I wish they had a full bar that would bring more variety for people who don't drink beer. I tried two hard kombuchas which weren't bad but a little light on the flavor output. My friends had a single beer and a flight each and they enjoyed their drinks. I wish more food options were available. They had a bbq place and vegan fish fry. I saw pictures of pizza when looking up the place and got excited but pizza was not offered tonight. I tried a vegan fish filet which was ok but lacked flavor. My friend had a smoked chicken wrap which she enjoyed and had enough to take home for leftovers. Overall a chill vibe with plenty of seating, good service, light music and a good place to hang out for drinks with friends.

Little neighborhood gem! Amazing location and vibe is very welcoming. Makes you love their beer so much more. Plus they have pizza (can never go wrong with that) to enjoy with your Le Tub draft (or other 9 varieties on tap). And you can take some home to enjoy in your le tub (if you're blessed with one in Windy City). Long story short - come here, try some beers and have a good time. Guaranteed.

This is such a cute spot to hang out with friends! I love the atmosphere, the laid-back vibe, and the friendly staff. The beers were delicious, with the Ube-flavored one being my personal favorite--it was unique and refreshing. I also appreciated having non-alcoholic options available, though I'd love to see a few more choices. While I miss having food on the menu, it's great that they allow you to bring your own. Overall, it's a fantastic place with great vibes--I'll definitely be back!

Super friendly staff in a big plant filled space perfect for events. Really good beer options. There is Le pizza in the space too, but I hope they add more food options in the future. Great spot to catch up with friends.

I did a yelp roulette for national beer day and came across their beautiful place!!! I'm so in love with the vibe and the looks of this place!!! Real plants are literally coming out of the middle of the tables and are all around you. They are big on recycling and taking care of our planet. They also craft their own beer as they are a brewery. The food!!! THE FOOD!!! D E L I C I O U S!!!!!! I had the smoked cauliflower and my honey bear had the half rack of BBQ ribs. I can't even explain Ahaha you just have to go see for yourself. The beer was perfect!!! Just what I've been needing. I'll be bringing my family here in June when they come visit. Not only do they allow children inside but they also allow you to bring your fur baby!!! This is such an amazing thing because not a lot of places out here allow you to bring your puppers so we will also be bringing our fur baby to enjoy some of the other dogs and ribs. Parking was good for us! We didn't have to pay and we were able to park right up front. Tbh I wouldn't know how the parking would be as it got to busy because I didn't see much parking when we did park. The service was AMAZING!!! The bar tender literally gave us $1 to play a game of pool because I was dying to play but didn't have cash or my card. They girl who took out order was a gem and the waiter came to clean out area and was so open to casual conversation. Super cool people!!!

The beer selection is awesome! My favorite was the flamingo prince. My boyfriend's favorite was the Elevator. The service at the bar was great. She was so nice. Everyone had such good vibes! The place is with Heffer BBQ so ambiance was great! Love the lights they have. Perfect environment for me! Will definitely come back!

THIS PLACE IS AS CUTE AS A BUTTON! If you've ever seen the cartoon hipster cat graphics on Whiner beer cans, you would want to find out what the brewery looks like, too. The place is a wanderlust. The entrance looks like a garden shop. So many plants. Turn left for the brewery (free tours), and right for the taproom. There is a cafe on site that serves food. Some Indie music was playing on a JBL. You can truly drink beer to your heart's content, here. The beer adds a pop of fun to your palette. Start with: LE TUB, if you aren't sure. It's a 6.4%ABV barrel aged saison. This cutie of a beer really sets the scene for the rest of the pack. With a tart lemon base, you can't help but to feel like your in a bathtub filled with bubbles. If you like that, you'll love BUBBLE TUB! A carmel 6.2%ABV that brings watermelon to a whole new level. Tart. Tart. Tart. Refreshing. And a party in a can. Speaking of party, COOLSHIP SASHA is the all sour beer with a blast of raspberry bubbles. Want to slow things down a little? Go with ELEVATOR: a much smoooother, light saison with an orange peel attitude. Last but not least, I tried FUR COAT: a chocolatey Belgium Dark Ale. Rich and smooth. My new best beer friend and a true beer bossss! All pours are $6-$8 (and one priced at $13, which I did not try). Whiner Beer has it all: food, space, music, company, free brewery tours, funky beer! It's a blend of collaborations and dreams. "[For] those who take beer seriously, but never themselves."

I had been hearing about this place for a while, and my husband and I finally went, on a cold Sunday afternoon, with our daughter and her boyfriend who were visiting us from San Francisco. We had a great time -- satisfying and in some instances, surprising beer and hard kombucha, low-key pool table action, and picturesque surroundings. We bought several six packs to take with. We were pleased and "Chicago proud" with our San Francisco Millenials' approval and enjoyment. They said that it was better than comparable offerings there by a long shot -- especially the setting and the beer.

Beer is always excellent. The Curb Cutter and Pals lager pairs perfectly with the delicious pepperoni and sausage pizza! The Owner, Brewers & staff that I've encountered are always professional, welcoming and kind.

We finally checked out Whiner Beer Company after delaying a visit due to its 'off-the-beaten-path' location. But I am here to report that you need to visit Whiner Beer Company, and you need to visit it right away! This hidden gem is absolutely fantastic and one of my favorite locations I've visited yet in Chicago! First of all, the space is wide open and conducive to large groups. Parking is not a problem, so bring your groups here for a delicious brew and conversation! It also has free WiFi and is homey enough to come, grab a brew, and get some work done! The beer is fantastic! I tried four different beers while here and loved the unique flavors of each! This is definitely an outstanding brewery amidst Chicago's diverse and booming craft scene...and I've been to over 60! So if you're a beer lover...you must hit this place up! Next, the situation got even more glorious as we realized that the brewery had a bakery attached that makes woodfire pizzas and savory pies! Shoutout to Pleasant House Bakery! My partner and I shared the 'Chicago Sting' Pizza and the 'chicken balti pie.' I'm rolling in decadent carby joy and have no regrets! I can't wait to try more! Furthermore, this place has a wonderful hip and modern vibe that is very special! I could spend all day here! Not to mention that the staff seem super welcoming and hospitable to all kinds of people! What's not to love? Get over the distance and get yourself to Whiner Beer Company! I promise that you won't be disappointed!

I had been wanting to try Industry Ales when it opened and was glad to have had the opportunity to finally check it out! I was slightly thrown off, as the dining tables are at the front of this space, and the bar is all the way at the back. In fact, my friend at first glance thought it was a sit-down dining establishment sans bar seating. We found our way to the bar and posted up at two seats. We were offered menus right away and found the bartender extremely knowledgeable. This was super helpful when facing down an encyclopedia of ales. He offered samples when we explained what we were looking for. That is service above and beyond, especially on a bustling Friday early evening. The brews were tasty, but I couldn't really discern what I was drinking apart to say it was a lighter Belgian Ale. Wine is more in my wheelhouse, but always good to change things up, especially when a person has the opportunity to be guided by an expert. The people seated nearby had ordered the tuna tartare which looked delicious. In fact, all of the menu is globally influenced (think: pizza samosas, pierogis, Korean BBQ) in addition to the classic brewpub favorites. In addition to the Brewpub, this location features the Millroom, a speakeasy-style lounge. I did not have a chance to check that out on this visit. Definitely a cut above the usual sports bar and a place to expand one's knowledge of brews.

The staff was friendly and took the time to explain how everything works, which I appreciated. Now the food. So good. I have had a favorite taco spot for the past few months, but this place honestly raised the bar. They are known for their fried cheese tacos and they absolutely live up to the hype. The shrimp was delicious and the sauce reminded me of a seafood boil, rich and flavorful. The salsa verde was also great. I also had the fries topped with fried cheese, cilantro, and onions, and they were just as good. Everything smelled amazing and everyone at the table loved their food. One thing I really loved is their drink options. They have great cocktails, but also offer well crafted mocktails that feel just as intentional. On top of that, they have THC and CBD drinks, which really adds to the relaxed, laid back vibe. Overall, it is a great place to sit, hang out, and enjoy good food and drinks for as long as you want. They had a lot of special events going on for the holiday, so as you might imagine, it was difficult to snag a table even before 5pm. We managed to get a spot on the patio, which was insulated really well. It would be a great place to hang out in the summer. Our server was very attentive and provided great recommendations. To drink, we honored the occasion with imported Guinness stouts, which were light-bodied with a great depth. Per recommendation, we started with the hummus appetizer, and all I have to say is: do not sleep on this! The hummus was super flavorful and well seasoned, served alongside the most delicious grilled za'atar naan. The fresh crudites provided a really nice contrast. Highly recommend! For mains, we ordered the Guinness beef stew and the bangers and mash. The latter was my favorite of the two- the sausages were extra crispy on the outside and very tender. The mashed potatoes were super creamy and the bacon-onion mustard gravy was delicious. My favorite part may have been the brown beer bread served alongside- this stuff is absolutely addictive. I thought the beef stew was also well done with very tender meat, but just wasn't as flavorful as the other entree. Throughout the meal, we were treated to traditional Irish music complete with a bagpipe troupe. We left full and in the holiday spirit- will 100% return and highly recommend making the trip over here!

A server brings you upstairs to the dining area. There is a mixture of two and four tops in the space and our table had a handwritten note congratulating us on our anniversary. Our seat allowed both of us to have a view of the kitchen window to watch the chefs prep courses. There were 3-4 servers that serviced the entire dining room and rotated in presenting dishes. They started with warm towelettes to wash your hands which was a nice touch. Service level throughout was impeccable with water refills, explaining the menu, delightful demeanor, fresh silverware per course, and wiping the table clean from anything that dropped. This was certainly one of the best hospitality levels at a one star I've experienced. Dinner was 12 courses including the amuse-bouche and final treats. There was not one course that didn't offer bright, fresh flavors. The presentation of plates were beautiful from every angle. It's hard to pick any top dish as everything was unique and special in their own way; but I am still thinking about the Crab Bite, Sablefish, and Pasta Course. After dinner, each guest got a complimentary bag full of goodies to enjoy at home. What a beautiful final touch! Moody Tongue as a whole far exceeded my expectations.
