You can't say the pies here are subtle - Whim's pizzas are all about bold flavors.
The "Not So Original" variety, which appears to be their signature, hits you with a strong smoky sweetness from the pairing of honey and gouda, and the margerita has an extremely oregano-forward spicy red sauce. The winter squash, which was our favorite, has a delectable layer of squash that melts in your mouth, topped with furikake, because why not when you're a pizzeria off of the Morgan L.
I appreciate the concept of serving dips with the pies, as the very chewy and expansive Neapolitan dough here definitely warrants some accompaniment. But I found the muhammara to be missing something (I'm used to making the trek out to Paterson for the excellent one at Abu Rass, and have high standards here.)
