I had never heard of the bakery and its bland name, but immediately noticed its Zagat food quality rating of 28 posted in the window. At that point, I knew that I had to forgo any pledge of healthy eating to indulge with a pastry. I entered the store and drooled over mini tarts, massive cookies, and other decadent goodies. I greeted the man behind the counter and inquired about the history of the shop. Apparently, it had been around for a few years and was the highest-ranked bakery in the city, according to Zagat. After a lengthy internal debate, I decided to order an Oatmeal Raisin Cookie, assuming that it might be healthier than some of the more elaborate treats. However, the doughy disk was gigantic. The addicting, homemade flavor tasted like raw dough packed with cinnamon raisin seasoning. I was completely entranced by the tender doughiness and proceeded to devour the entire cookie within 5 minutes. I even went back for a second visit a month or so later, at which point I sampled the large Chocolate Chip Cookie that was stuffed with chunks of dark chocolate. The treat also possessed that same raw dough flavor. I had to muster up my restraint to limit myself to only a few bites, so that I could deliver the rest of the calories to my brother. Dessert Delivery was the true hidden gem of my dreams. Their affordable and tasty delicacies really define the word "treat". Thankfully, I am rarely in Dessert Delivery's neighborhood or it would be my second home!

The Diavola pizza was one of the best pizzas I've ever had if not the best. I tasted 3 other pizzas on my trip but this was the best. I'm not a sour dough bread person but this crust was great. With the pepperoni, cheese, black garlic and a semi-sweet sauce it was amazing. The owner is very friendly and runs the Instagram page himself. Our last visit my friends and I were featured on the Instagram! Crust was light, airy, and chewy, and tomato sauce was fresh and flavorful. We opted for the Popeye & olive oil (sausage and spinach) and sweetie pie (pepperoni and spicy honey) and all were delicious!!
