Enjoyed the experience. Great tasting locally made beer & spirits. Food is yummy, easy to share with a group. Variety of board games free to play. Friendly staff. Relaxed atmosphere. Will return!

Turkey melt with pepper chips

Kids perspective- Good service from our waiter named Jesse. I got a cream soda and it was mid but not bad. I also got the turkey melt and it was pretty good. Got a side of pepper chips they are VERY peppery, no wonder there is dip for them. Bathroom gets 2.5 flushes because it's only two stalls and water gets extremely hot to a point where it will steam. Overall the food was good and got in quickly with four people.

Lovely place downtown just off Main Street. Great place to stop after walking or biking on the rails to trails pathway. We were acknowledged right away and given menus. You can sample several beers in small 4 ounce glasses if you want variety. I tried Grand Armory White Chocolate which finishes with the taste of chocolate, Upper Hand Mano Superior which was a nice light beer, and I think it was Superior Strawberry something which I considered a dessert beer if there is such a thing. We also had a quick snack of guacamole and salsa. The guac was bland until we mixed some of the salsa in with it. Chips were thick and definitely not made there. The waitress accidentally gave us the wrong tab but otherwise provided good service.

We were in Midland for the day and googled a local restaurant. This WhichCraft Taproom came up with good reviews so we thought we would stop in for lunch. The minute we walked in the door I instantly liked this place. A young man told us the host would be right with us. The host then gave us the option of sitting inside or outside either in the front or the back. It was a fairly hot day so we decided to eat inside and we're seated immediately. Our waitress was Hannah and she was excellent'. Everyone was so friendly and service was excellent. I got the mozzarella caprese wrap and added chicken. It comes with a pickle and chips. For the chips you have the choice of regular, black pepper or barbecue chips all homemade kettle cooked. My friend got the white cheddar grilled cheese sandwich and it also came with a pickle and choice of kettle chips. Both of us had the option of a cup of fruit or a dip for the chips as another added side that was included with the sandwich. The sandwiches were huge. We each ended up taking 1/2 of the sandwich home with us for a snack for later. I would definitely come here again when I come to town.

Michigan craft beers and spirits at its best! Always a great selection of craft beers, seasonal cocktails and a yummy menu to choose from! Love the ambiance and how the bartenders are great!

Get ready to eat some excellent bar food! The grilled PBJ was chefs kiss. We also got the white cheddar grilled cheese. We added pesto, tomato and bacon. I'm salivating thinking about it! The chips and dill dips were a perfect addition, BBQ is my favorite! Jessie made a rum sunset that changed my life and the other person at the bar, John I think was his name made a banger of an old fashioned. All the staff was fun and kind even thought we walked in 30min until close. All and all will go back!

If you love beer, this is the place for you! If you're coming for the food, it's also a win! Atmosphere: Cute little restaurant close to the Dow Gardens. There is a decent amount of spacing and the servers are great! There's also a variety of board games to choose from to play at the table. Food/Drinks: Anywhere that offers Beer Flights is a win for beer drinkers! They have very reasonable flights and a decently sized variety. I ordered the turkey melt with chips and dip and it was VERY good and VERY filling!

Our Tab and proof of server

Management Used profanity - Meals forgotten - nothing Comp'd - Customer Service not favorable - food good - BUT CLOUDED by poor customer service Visited from out of town, on a Thursday evening, not too busy, with my wife and kids and extended family. Our daughters meal was left off and her food wasn't delivered with the other food. We had to bring to our waitresses, attention that she never got her food, her reply was "Oh, what did she order?" She also, never brought any napkins to the table. She went back to the kitchen and said it would be . I then asked her what had happened, was her order left off. She replied "yes." I then asked will her meal be comp'd and she said I would have to get with management. Management never approached our table to apologize, and sent her back and said there would be a charge for the meal. I went to the bar to approach management, two managers, a male and female, and the male had a "brush off" type attitude from the start. I explained the situation and they stated they wouldn't comp the meal and and he even used profanity directed at me. Thankful I went to the bar and they didn't say that in fro t of the kids. Decent food, but the SERVICE is less than desirable, and the managers approach to customer service is totally unprofessional. Our server name was Emily K and the manager did not provide his name - but this is him in the photograph. BE CAUTIOUS of eating here - it's a shame - great atmosphere clouded by POOR service and bad judgement - Not Customer friendly!

Excellent selection of Michigan beers and wines, along with spirits from to and fro. The food was fresh, tasty, and included local brats.

Food is not good. Beer is fine. How do you have a bar with no bar food or even a grill or fryer?

Food is only ok, and the beer is a little on the hipster side for me. Nice place and they have board games but not my favorite bar.

Sit in the back porch during the summer they have hops growing down. Good beer selection and more snack type of food, not a hearty dinner.

Ask the Community - WhichCraft Taproom

Is this business kid friendly?

I have seen families with pre teens and infants there. Although it is mostly adults due to the craft beer and food parings.

Are dogs allowed in the outside sitting area?

Yes they are, in the back seating area. They'll even bring water for the dog!

All the meats were nicely smoked, fresh and tender. The Mac n cheese and Beans were very good. Cornbread was also good, moist and flavorful. The food came out very fast, drinks were also good. The front door let in a blast of freezing air every time someone came in, making our food get cold quickly. Most importantly, the BBQ ribs that my mom had were burnt to a crisp. The coleslaw was awful and no one at our table ate it. It was tinged with a pink color...ugh. The smokes turkey that I ordered as part of a 2 meat dinner was drier than a bone. So they slathered some sauce on the top and called it good. Cornbread was good. Everyone complained about the over done meat...and in fine print, beware, if you order the St. Louis style ribs, they will add on a 8.95 cent up charge. For what???? Extra time on the "Barbie?" To top it off, they added a 20% tip to the bill AND they added a 3% surcharge to use our bank card. Overall, a terrible meal and better yet, the manager didn't believe us or care about our experience. Save your money.::go somewhere else.

New to Midland. We enjoy trying out new restaurants/bars in the surrounding area. This place was…read morerecommended to us by a friend so we thought we'd give it a try. Staff is not friendly, food is average and overpriced. Tried to pay the bill and apparently they only accept cash so the waitress just pointed to the ATM machine. Thanks, there are plenty of other options, we will spend our money other places. I never leave reviews but I am so tired of paying for food/service that is subpar and just accepting it.

Do you ever wonder how there's some people you meet in life that you've never spoken to before and…read morethe first time they say something to you it's out of pure hatred despite never interacting with you before? That's the overall feeling of this place. There's only so many places I've been to where I've felt threatened by stares and could tell that nobody wanted me there just for existing. The owner who I can only assume I haven't seen sober yet has been very rude and off putting each time I went to that bar, at this point since you clearly hate your career why not sell the place and take that money to some other investment? Maybe if you have a kink for feeling uncomfortable and unwanted I'd see the appeal of this place and honestly if it was just this owners attitude I wouldn't even make this review. But it's not, the beers for some reason are $6 if not more for a bottle and there's only few select cities I've been to where I've paid that or more, so people clearly don't come here for cheap beer. I don't mean to disrespect the cook here either but considering how expensive that food is and having half of the menu be Mexican food is beyond me when it's not good either. At this point I truly feel sorry for the workers that have to stick it out at this place. So lastly we come to the fact that the bar only takes cash. I don't know any bar in the entire United States that only accepts cash, I have a feeling if you told the IRS to stop by the 702 would be no more. Last time I was there I decided not to drink alcohol and the owner looked visibly pissed, I got 2 pitchers of Diet Coke, soda, and I was charged $30 in cash for it. So clearly that's not normal and the owner hates me even though I haven't done a damn thing to anyone there. Truly this place fucking sucks and I wouldn't know why anyone on god's green earth would ever want to stop by

They've got a great mix of pinball machines, old-school arcade classics, and some newer games, so it doesn't feel like a museum, it actually feels alive. You can bounce between games, grab a drink, and just hang out without it feeling forced. What really surprised me though was the food. I expected typical bar food, but they go way beyond that. The brunch is legit, and the menu has some creative dishes that actually feel thought out, not just thrown together. It's the kind of place where you come for the games and end up staying for the food. The staff are super friendly and bring a fun energy without being over the top. It also strikes a nice balance crowd-wise. During the day, it's totally a spot you could bring your kids and let them have a blast, and later on it shifts into more of a social hangout where you can meet locals and vibe. The meat was over cooked and dried. They placed onions and cheese on top. Maybe it's a personal preference but I like the cheese and vegetables mixed in with the meat. The bread was basic. I used a lot of ketchup so it would not taste/feel too dry while I was eating it. I did try one of their drinks and the Michigan Mule was very weak and flat, had ginger ale, to me. This is an arcade bar and had a lot of pinball machines. But it wasn't overbearing loud. There's cute gaming decor all around and the hallway to the bathroom is interesting to look at. They were full of drawing and random statements from previous customers. There were some children running around so def a place for all ages. I think this place is more about the pinball machines than the food. Haha. The waiter did a great job balancing our side of the building with huge parties. There is free parking out front.
