The bedding and window treatments I've purchased from her are some of my favorite items. She recently found the perfect living room sofa and two chairs that I absolutely LOVE! In the past, I've made many mistakes buying items on my own - the furniture was too large or small for a room, the expensive piece I bought was too large/wide to fit on the mantle, the paint color I thought was beige turned out to have a pink tint, etc. Everything Deborah has suggested and/or found for us has been perfect! I highly recommend Deborah and Transforming Rooms.

She transformed our new place in less than a month, with comfortable and stylish furniture, rugs, lighting, artwork, etc. Deborah was a pleasure to work with. She listens and she envisioned what I wanted and was respectful of our budget. She gave us the cheerful colors we were after, and unique pieces that I could not find in stores or online. Best of all, I compared Transforming Rooms to three of the exact same pieces online and Deborah was approx. $2,000 less for the exact same pieces. I highly recommend a call to her. Hiring Deborah was a dream come true! She gets 5 stars from me!!

We recently moved to Greensboro and decided to get a new entertainment center for the new house…read more After checking out several furniture stores we chose Priba Furniture. The selection was good; they had relatively low prices for good quality furniture; and Laura, our sales rep was excellent. We bought a Hooker entertainment center in November, and Laura explained that the construction could not begin until after the New Year, with delivery shortly thereafter. In December Priba sent us a letter to say that we could expect delivery on or about Feb 15. In early February, the delivery date was moved to March 20. In March, the expected delivery date was moved to May 20 and then May 10. After giving Priba a week's grace period, I called on May 18 and talked with Rachel (I think). She said the piece had been expected from Hooker on May 3 and was now expected later this week. Huh, it is already 3:00 PM on Friday; what does later this week mean? She also said to expect delivery "next week." Well, that didn't happen. I called on May 28 and spoke with Rachel, who said that Hooker is local company, and their (Priba's driver?) was relatively free this week. He will pick up the hutch and delivery it to us "this week." Well, that didn't happen. But now I know that someone initially screwed up and ordered the base cabinet but not the hutch. One June 4, I called Rachel, who first said that she would call Hooker while I was on hold a clear up the situation, then said Hooker was not answering the phone. She will call me back when Hooker responds. By now my wife is mad at me for not yelling at Rachel. And Rachel did not call back. I called on June 6 and left voice mail explaining the situation and pleading for an explanation. Nothing happened. I called on June 8, and was told Priba was completing the paperwork for delivery. Paperwork? We ordered the furniture six months ago, the initial delivery date was three months ago, and they are just now doing the paperwork? On June 11, Priba called me (for a change) and said they had the piece in stock and wanted to schedule delivery. We took delivery on June 13 and love it. The two delivery men were excellent, punctual, professional, and friendly. After hearing our saga, one of them even asked why we hadn't cancelled our order. I wonder that myself. We are in the market for furniture again. The dilemma is whether to shop at Priba. We look forward to working with Laura, but do not look forward to customer service hell.

Just got another fabulous piece of furniture delivered by Priba Furniture. Every step of the…read moreprocess was easy. We knew we needed a new chair in a small space but still wanted comfort. The owner, Scott, took us around the store showing us many smaller comfortable options and we fell in love with one. That was Sunday and it was delivered by two of the nicest guys, Brian and George today(Thursday). They were helpful showing me how to set the chair up and all of its functions. We couldn't be happier and the best part was dealing with a local family owned business with such great customer service!
