Since we have existing furniture, it was difficult choosing the fabric color and couch design to blend. And, we don't trust our instincts. We sent Carole pictures of the room and a drawing of the layout for scale. We brought a couple of pillows and paint samples. Carole took us to several options to test out and pointed out changes and upgrades we could make. She stayed in our price range and noted where higher prices might be useful or unnecessary. We are thrilled with our purchase and already have plans for other pieces. Carole will be our designer when we're ready for pieces to complete other rooms in the house. They still charged us exactly what they'd quoted, and the floor repair guy (Jason) did an amazing job. Highly recommended!

However, that was 3 years ago and a lot has change. After paying $20,182.17 for my remodeling, I have a bidet toilet that is leaking. I have called, text and e-mailed Kathy and have not gotten a reply. I have also asked for an agreement to honor a punch list for a year which is the typical agreement between contractors and clients. I have gotten no reply. This is totally unprofessional, but not surprising as I have a list of other things she has done in our designer/customer relationship that frankly were shocking. I am going to have to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Even after letting her know my plans, she has done NOTHING, I did added a magnifying mirror to my wall afterwards. I complained about the price, $440, which seemed very high especially when I looked online at similar mirrors and they were between $59 and up. But I agreed to pay her after she fixed my toilet and signed an agreement to honor a punch list. It has been almost a week and I was hoping she would come to her senses, but apparently not. Kathy Sterling, you should be ashamed of yourself for acting so UNPROFESSIONAL!
