We bought two La-Z-Boy recliners. We chose our own fabric and had them custom-made. These were not…read moreelectric recliners. Took a long time to come, but when they came, oh boy. The fabric had the strongest smell. I'm not sure if it was a fabric protector or what but we've had them a month now and they still stink. Immediately we noticed defects in the fabric. We called them in ordered a new seat cushion to replaced one we have so the patterns would match the seats are so difficult to recline, my wife threw out her back, trying to recline it. Instead of being a smooth recline, we can barely get them to go back without jumping up. Now the creaking has started. I can't even touch it without it creaking I walk by and bump into it and it creeks. If I sit down it creeks so bad it's embarrassing. If someone comes to my home and sits in the chair I'll cover my face and say I'm so sorry about the creaking. We have been trying to get someone out here to repair and we were told we would have to wait six weeks or more to have someone come by and check out the chairs. These two recliners cost us $3000. The biggest mistake I have ever made in my life was buying these chairs. I should've gone to a regular furniture store and bought some recliners for a fraction of the price. I thought La-Z-Boy would be a quality product, unfortunately, I did not check the reviews before I went. One and a half stars on Yelp would've told me to go somewhere else. Don't make the mistake I made. Go somewhere else to buy recliners.

Unfortunately, we initially had some scheduling conflicts, so I decided to cast a wider net for the job. I then created a task here on Yelp and got additional quotes. She promptly responded again and apologized for the previous scheduling snafus and booked something immediately. She also agreed to honor the previously agreed-upon rate. She came for a consultation, which we conducted remotely, as I was tied up at work. She was gracious enough to walk me through the process on FaceTime, and I described the vision. She listened attentively and even gave my dog some rubs as he trailed her around the house. Due to my schedule, she also worked independently on the day of installation. She kept me informed with texts and pictures of everything as she went along. Due to my poor measuring skills, we were a little short on both walls.
