We ended up with a very luxurious and spacious master bathroom, a larger bedroom and two very large closets! She was also extremely helpful in the design process helping us choose the colors and fixtures that would all go together. The result was beyond our expectations. Matt and Kelly helped with the design, obtained our desired results and made great suggestions during the entire process. Their team of contractors worked tirelessly to meet our completion timeline. Both Matt and Kelly checked on the progress and provided us updated pictures along the way. I can't emphasize how great these two people are to work with. For any renovations you are considering, I advise you to contact Stage It Charlotte and ask for Matt or Kelly. Thanks again for another job well done for our home.

Karen's fresh perspective and keen eye helped "edit" some of our existing decor, then she added key pieces that pulled everything together. We got another appraisal 2 weeks later, and it came in $110k over the first one! (That's not a typo... $110k higher!) Stage It Charlotte is hands down the best in the business. Karen and team love what they do, and it shows in their results!

I enlisted the services of Brooke and her team for a whole house design for a my newly built…read moretownhouse. For this next chapter in my life, I decided to "start from scratch" which included new home furnishings and accessories. My experience from beginning to end with Brooke Michel Design was splendid. From our initial conversations and my client questionnaire she was able to identify my design style, needs and desired colored palette. She developed two amazing design portfolios for me to review and I was able to pick and choose elements from each to create my final design portfolio. This portfolio served as the blueprint for my interior and exterior design choices. She picked pieces that were cost-conscious based on my pre-established budget and that were available at a variety of local and online retailers. She encouraged me to add my own style by picking a few items out myself (with her stylistic approval) that created a truly one of a kind design. The final product is an amazingly modern, but functional townhome with incredible indoor and outdoor spaces. Brooke and her team went out of their way to make sure that I was comfortable in my new space. I strongly recommend reaching out to her for both your small and large interior design needs.

The sales and design portion started out well, but the execution did not meet our expectations. We…read morewent with them because they could design some areas and spaces that we needed for our office, however, when executed, our designer did not think through that I am not 6 feet tall and I have to stand on my tip toes to reach the door handles to ALL of my upper cabinets (10 total)...would you be satisfied if you paid a large sum of money and you can't reach your door handles and nobody has even followed up with you after your project to see if you are happy with it after a month? I am still missing 2 drawers that they didn't cut right because of the pop-up plug that they didn't account measurements for. My 2 bottom file drawers have major space in between the files - poorly designed, total waste of space. The counter top which is a quartz is very thin and I recall the sample being much thicker. The installers - don't get me started. When I told the sales gal about it, she just gave me this blanket message about passing it along to the install manager. They didn't do anything about it, and the next day they cut in our garage and my daughter who was getting ready to go to college had all of her stuff in there, it had sawdust all over it and we had to wipe everything down because there was sawdust all over everything in our garage. They swept but they didn't account for the layers of sawdust on everything. Inside my office, they left tools all over my office desk, inside the cabinets, they left a ladder on top of my desk with a broom, tools just laying on the cabinets, there was a caulking gun leaking on top of my quartz countertop. There was sawdust all inside my cabinets and on my floors. I had to do so much clean up after they left throughout all the cabinets and my floors and dust everything top to bottom. There's a few issues with some splintering that we have not yet heard back from anyone and it's been a month since they finished. We've paid, A LOT of money for this office, it sure does seem like they took they money and ran. While the cabinets are nice, customer service is the worst I have ever experienced and there were a lot of things that did not get addressed.
