They do fine with longer trips, but for short ones, they are horrible! They will leave you stranded for hours and lie about the pick up. One time, for an hour and a half, the dispatcher repeatedly claimed the driver was 10 minutes away. Another time, the driver showed up a full hour before my scheduled pickup time, and the dispatcher repeatedly lied about the pick up time when I could clearly see the correct pickup time in my app. They then left m sitting for two hours claiming "since it was my mistake" they had to wait until a driver was in the area. Another patient took me home because I had been waiting since before her treatment began! Another time, they first called to say the driver was running late. I stayed in regular contact with dispatch and they repeatedly said the driver would be pulling up any minute. I never got to the appointment that day and had to reschedule for the specialist that took me months to get into. Your ride doesn't matter if it's a short trip and the dispatcher is unable to schedule properly to accomodate short trips. The dispatcher also receives your emailed complaints and does not forward them up the chain. He lies and makes excuses and blames the patient, when the problem is clearly his inability to schedule drivers properly. Thank goodness my insurance company can block them from taking my short trip requests now! read more
