Awesome and 100% Service by Marissa, .First time to try their pork Ribs, and this is one of the best pork ribs I've ever had , the price is absolutely great ,in terms of the amount of food that you will be getting and ofcourse with delicious flavor :) Highly recommended to try this, stop by to experience what I'm saying on this review!! Two thumbs up!!

My family and I were passing through New York on our way home from vacation. We had been driving for hours, not having eaten a thing. One of the locals recommended this place when we stopped off to check out a winery. Let me start by saying that you want to come here with a very large appetite. The portion sizes are huge, guaranteeing that you will definitely get your money's worth. You'll also enjoy a relaxing lakeside view while you dine. I ordered the Que for 2 meal, which came with your choice of two meats (I had the pulled chicken and pulled porm), along with your choice of two sides. For my sides, I had the potato salad and baked beans. Oh, and did I mention that this dinner also came with TWO pieces of cornbread and TWO ears of corn? Needless to say, I over ordered what my stomach could handle, but it was worth it! Everything was delicious, though the potato salad was a little disappointing. It was good, but a little bland for my taste. My only regret is that we did not leave room for dessert. (Heck, I couldn't even finish my dinner.) The next time we're in town, the hubby and I plan to share a meal so that we can have dessert too. If you're not into BBQ, that's OK. The menu boasts some tasty sandwich and appetizer options too. So what are you waiting for? Stop in for a bite to eat.

Grab a beer and walk down to the beach area!

Alas though, the great state of New York has decided that she must give them her recipes or stop selling the syrups. Of course if she gives up her recipes, there will be syrup vendors on every corner selling her beloved product. This is where New York taxpayers money is going. Guess Covid, homelessness and global warming do not deserve as much attention as an 83 year old's business of selling a healthy, fresh, natural homegrown product. So please stop by and support Gail. I promise you will love her and her products.

The lady who runs the place is inviting and wanted us to try all of her syrups. They have flavors like grape, raspberry, mint, apple cinnamon, pumpkin spice, anything you can think of really. Everything is a little on the pricey side, which is to be expected. Still, we brought home a couple of the syrup bottles and everyone loves them on pancakes, so well worth the money! I didn't see any sign of a restaurant or food service, so that part might have been closed.

The giant pizza oven is part of the esthetic, so I ordered the Buffalo Chicken pizza which included smoked chicken on it, blue cheese crumbles and ranch. So everything has the open wood fire smell. They were out of a lot of items which was very disappointing. They have a craft beer section but most of them were out. And a few menu items were also not available including the wings which I wanted. That is why the score. The hours of the place are only open 3 days so it seems they ran out and aren't going to replenish till next Thursday when they are open again. I guess we are on the backend of the day when they have limited selection. We got the pizza, and someone got the chicken ranch sandwich and a burger. We liked what we got. We also got some of the craft cocktails. It was good. I also have to compliment our server Catie. She was darling. We love her. She is so hung out with us and we had fun with her. She made the whole experience really good. Would I try this place again. Yes, Catie was darling and the food was good. Just disappointing that they didn't have a lot of items.

The meat was so perfectly cooked, juicy, and tender. Staff were very friendly and fast. My bad experience was with the Italian. The lasagna had parts of the noodles overcooked. It was more like lasagna tomato soup with huge gobs of cold ricotta cheese. I only ate a few bites and was done. I got the salad which was fine, but I didn't get my garlic bread :( The meatballs were great on the mac'n'cheese, but we didn't like the Mac at all. It was cold and a sticky pastey floury roux without enough cheese. Coming from someone that lived in TX I expected thick creamy gooey stringy cheesey not this paste. The philly was good, he liked it. He was the only one to eat more than a few bites of thier meal. In fact, he finished his then tried ours and passed on them.

We discovered that many places are closed on Monday in town, but not Calarco's. We placed an order for pick-up and the service could not have been nicer. They even accepted plastic, unlike other establishments in town. Portions were huge, the rolls were warm and soft and savory, and that tomato sauce was unique, zesty, and something special. My wife had leftovers of her chicken piccata which she enjoyed; nothing was spared of my eggplant parm as I had to eat it all. Their homemade bleu cheese dressing I asked for with my side salad was so darn good. And to top everything off, we split their last slice of peanut butter pie which was truly an impressive gem. I have had many a pie or cake in fine dining restaurants, yet this particular pie was out of this world. Next time in Westfield, we will meet again, Calarco's.
