Other local eye doctors I've been to are not this attentive. I am giving 4 out of 5 only because they won't give you your pupillary distance measurement unless you purchase glasses from their optical shop. In order to buy glasses online, you need that measurement, so Robbins doesn't give you that measurement when they give you your glasses prescription. This prevents their patients from being able to buy glasses elsewhere. I know online glasses sales are cutting into the profits of private optical practices like this, but most of us can't afford the $$$ prices of glasses from an eye doctor which is why I always order mine online for about 1/5 the cost of getting them at an eye doctor.

I looked around Yelp in the internet and this place was recommended as a best place in town to fix glasses. I popped in and it turns out one of the owners is the greeter. This is fantastic as for many small businesses the owners are nowhere to be seen. Right out of the gate he was friendly, happy, and wearing a really sharp pair of glasses (for him). I mentioned that I found them on Yelp and showed him my glasses. He was pretty sure it was an easy fix and would be done in a couple days for 10 or 15 bucks. To my enjoyment he called the very next day to say they were done. Got here a few minutes before my appointment and the place was packed. Not to mention that while I was sitting here to walk ins' came in just to check out the place. If you want a unique design and/or a unique design with color this is your place. Normally when I'm browsing around my opticians office, it's dozens of boring glasses that all look exactly the same.... gray, black, brown, charcoal gray, silver gray.... Eye Openers is exactly what their name suggests, frames that start the conversation. Frames that are in fact eye openers. And all my years on Yelp I normally wait until I have several reviews to write and then write them. I've dealt with an organization who refused to do an eye exam; but instead had no problem using my insurance and charging me for the glasses and contacts in lieu of the eye exam, because my current exam was still valid. They literally refused the eye exam I was there on that day for. So, when I needed to order new contacts they refused because they didn't do the contact fitting. I pointed out that them that you didn't do it in March, but had no issue with taking my money then and give them to me. I have spoken to 5 different representatives (all who gave me contradicting information, two with promises to make an exception only for that to be rescinded), and left two messages with the manager who never returned by call until almost 4 weeks later stating her voice mail was broken (I seriously don't believe it). I just don't care for an establishment who does business this way; and when they make an error refuse to work on a solution.
