January 9th I came in to buy two new tires. I asked the owner after he told me I had to go down the street and get a third party to pay $20 each to get mounted if these tires were down in a month or two can I come back ? He said absolutely . If I could leave 0 stars i would. Terrible experience. I dropped off 2 rims for welding and paid $500 upfront. Later, I checked and saw they had only 2 stars -- should've trusted the reviews. After 3 months and multiple visits (a hour from me), they never actually welded the wheels, just bent them and filled with foam. They scratched my rims, didn't balance the tires right, and the paint was ruined. In the end, I paid over $600, and the wheels only lasted 2 days before leaking again. A different tire shop told me they scammed me soo, i recommend to you toAvoid this place at all costs. I brought my truck to Wheels-R-Us to have new tires put on. Before heading there, I was given a price of $150 on the phone. I made sure to discuss the exact measurements, brand, and model of both the tires and the wheels to ensure an accurate quote. However, upon arriving, no one greeted me, and there was no one behind the desk or in the office. After unloading the tires myself, I eventually found someone who looked at the tires and said he needed to call the owner to confirm. Even though he already knew the exact size before I came, he raised the price from $150 to $250, claiming the tires looked "really big" how far how far it's on the street today no should I like Time or. As frustrated as I was, I agreed to the new price and waited for a few hours while they worked on my truck. Once they were finished, they charged my credit card for $350 plus tax, approximately $380. I was upset about this, and they explained it was because they had to replace two bolts that cost approximately $0.25 apiece at the local hardware store. They felt the extra hours they worked on my truck were justifiable. The $150 phone quote that I was guaranteed turned out to be less than half of the price I was charged. Unfortunately, I have to agree with the review before me that this place is a scam. If for whatever reason you still decide to use them, I seriously suggest paying in cash or monitoring your credit card for quite some time afterwords. This place is the most unprofessional establishment I've gone to look at a car. When I pulled up I couldn't tell who was an employee or who was on drugs. After being told a car was for sale, pulling money out and arriving, I was ignorantly shoo'ed away by the "owner" after he walked up laughing saying car sold. Could not hold a conversation or answer my question, just walked away in the middle of my sentence. Then after I approached to ask what the deal was he doubled the price of the vehicle that was for sale after I had arrived, which was contradicting his sold statement. Then he made a statement that I don't have enough money anyways, now that's total disrespect and why would I have wasted my time to show up, cash in hand, if I couldn't afford it? Absolute idiots and liars! Traveled 2 hours to purchase a used car after being assured multiple times on the condition. Got down there and the windows, locks, and radio didnt work. Said it was likely a fuse. Why didnt they go out there to inspect the vehicle in the two hours it took me to drive there I have no clue. Young cocky kid tells me they can fix it for 100 bucks because after all I am getting a good deal. Asked if I wanted to test drive it and do donuts. Wtf? I asked all the pertinent questions and car faxed the vehicle before I ever got in my car. Mechanic could not figure out the problem after 45 minutes. Not to mention, I caught them in several lies over the history of the vehicle and how long it was on the lot. Found pics of the car on one guys personal Facebook from over six months ago when they said they'd only had it a couple months. Ar was listed at varying prices and mileages. Two weeks ago it was 2200 and today it was 2500?? The other idiot said it was a family friends car and he just sold it to them. Wrong again jerks, I have the carfax...it was bought at auction. Brought the owner over after I got tired of dealing with these snotnose boys and he walked away from me mid sentence after muttering something about bad business to the other guys. In early August i took my van into Wheels r us to have two rear tires put on, and to have the front tires balanced and the owner told me i would not be charged to balance the front tires if i took care of his guys, I agree, after looking at the front tires decided it was best to change all for Tires and I was shown several different Brands of tires, the tire I selected was a milestar and I was told it was manufactured by Michelin and had a 70,000 mile warranty, after looking up the tire up on the Internet when I return home I found out the tire was manufactured by MileStar a brand name produced by Nankang Tires, a Taiwan based company, I also discovered that tire has 50,000 mile warranty not 70. If I had known this I would have probably selected a different tire, the unbelievable part is that the owner of the company called me later that evening and told me I forgot to give his boys a Tip. I would have purchased the other tires I don't feel it was necessary to be lied to and it's certainly not appreciated . In regards to the tip is I purchased the front tires there was no favor and I have exhausted all cash on hand, I had planned on returning Saturday as I tend to keep my promises but change my mind after I had found out I've been lied to. read more
