First time using Wheels America in Selma and i would not recommend unless you have money to GIVE away. I recently had some work done less than a month to a bent wheel. the air started leaking around the Rim, I thought it was the Tire so i took it to Discount tire they advised me it was the Rim (still bent in one area) they also provided me video and pictures, so i called the WHEELS America and a gentleman aaanswered the phone and i advised him of my situation and he advised me to bring the wheel in and he would honor the warranty. I took the wheel in the next morning and was approached by the Manager, he looked over the wheel and immediately stated you must have hit another curve, SAN -Antonio have bad roads, I REPLIED what do you mean. he said there is no way the wheel would have left the shop in this condition, i said how would you know, you were not here when i was provided the service and he immediately start to walk away and stated i can charge you another$ 180.00 to fix the wheel, I replied the wheel wasn't FIXED THE FIRST TIME correctly, I couldn't believe what i was hearing, why would i give you another $180.00 that's insane. Make sure you check your price that it is in writing of what you asked for and that you turn around to get your equipment back as you turned it in. They do not mountain balance at the shop because they're going after commercial accounts. This is not set up for individuals to come and get their wheels and tires taken care of. Return I will never return to the shop again what they quoted me and what the price ended up being is two different things. I could have bought brand new for $200 more from Amazon. Check Amazon before having them and having them resurfaced the value is half so you've got more into these wheels than what it would've cost you to buy new. read more

Very rude , they don't answer the phone and if you they do it's like you're bothering them. So they told me they could work on my wheel "that's what they do right". I get there with the wheel after removing it from my vehicle. I go inside the office and it's like I'm a ghost no one helps mind you there's like 6 people in the office. Finely a young black kid helps, I guess he's tired of me just looking at them. So I tell him what I have going on with the wheel and he said they can't fix. I had to remind him I CALLED BEFORE REMOVING THE WHEEL FROM VEHICLE AND SOMEONE HERE SAID YOU COULD. Finely a older gentleman helps, looks it over and says sure we can fix it. I leave my wheel with them for two weeks and they still hadn't looked at my wheel. I called about six times to check the status on it. I guess they got upset because I needed to know what was going on with my wheel. On last call they said we can't do anything with it. So I go pick it up and it's like no one even touched it. I took my Jaguar to have my wheels powder coated. Originally I came in wanting the high gloss after I saw high gloss. I decided to go with matt black. I received very professional service and The Manager, asked me three times if I was sure I wanted the mat black. No pressure, just giving me a couple of opportunities to change my mind. Standup guys who do great work while maintaining honesty which is hard to com by these days. Discount Tire off 281/Evans said my rim was bent after running over a major pothole during last week's cold, windy, very rainy spell. My rims are apparently quite expensive, so just one from the factory would run around 1k which I cannot afford at this point. We were in process of purchasing new rims for around $850 from Discount, but my hubby researched and found Wheels of America. Floyd and his guys checked all of the tires and rims, and said none were damaged, bent, or warped. So, for a minimum charge I'm now on my merry way having saved over $750 thanks to the honesty and integrity of Floyd and Wheels of America. If I could give them negative stars I would. They are without a doubt the worst company I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. I had my wheels refinished I. August of 2012. They boast a 24 hour turn around time but they had my car for two weeks. When I got it back the wheels looked awful. They tore two of my low profile tires and blamed it on the manufacturer. Now here is where the real fun starts. The idiots putting my wheels back on didn't torque my lug nuts down. You can imagine my surprise when at 70mph on the highway my front driver wheel fell off. It did over $10k in damage to my challenger. It was in the shop for 128 and when I got it back it was not fixed right. I ended up selling the car at a big loss. Heed my warning and STAY AWAY from this Mickey Mouse company!!!! read more

Extremely disapointed that they have refused to stand behind their "guarantee"; from their website FAQ: "Is your work guaranteed" We give a lifetime guarantee on the structural work we do, and on the finish as well. The chrome is peeling off of a wheel they repaired for me January 2012 at the tire bead and the tire will not hold pressure (slow leak). The tire shop has done everything they can to help. When I called Wheels America I was told my "guarantee" was for only one (1) year and I was 4 months past the warranty period and they would not stand behind the work. This place is a rip-off, and does not sell wheels that can be used on the road. I purchased a set of wheels and when they finally came two weeks later, one was repaired with what appeared to be JBweld and was as round as an octagon. Cave men made rounder rocks. This was a complete waste of time do no purchase wheels here. Also, the wheels were not uniform in color, and have dust spots, inconsistent finish, horrible orange-peel, and uneven clear coat. Poor customer service with an attitude. Dropped off wheel to be refinished. 2 days later, when I went to pick-up, the wheel was not done because they said it had a flat spot. Told them it was fine when it came off my Vette, so they rechecked and said it was okay... must have been a mix up they said. Then they said they couldn't match the paint. Place is known for screwing their customers over! My friend took his wheel there to fix a tiny crack and they caught it on fire, managed to break the wheel on their own. Gave it back to him with 3new spots welded and painted a gunmetal wheel flat black! I shipped a wheel to the Wheels America in Schertz, TX. I have proof of delivery. They claim they could not fix the damage on the edge of the rim. OK, there was no damage, I had sent it in to have the mounting holes repaired. Then they claimed that they shipped it back to me, but cannot produce a tracking number to me. I would also like to highlight the fact that they did this all at no charge, because they did not contact me for payment information. Just to put it into prospective, they signed for my rim 29 days ago. At this time, I no longer have a rim. Avoid this company. read more

they do NOT do custom wheels, even though there site says so. when i showed up they turned down two guys who had minor damage to their wheels, but they said they could fix my wheel and will call me tomorrow when it is done.(rohanna rc10) next day, no call. so i call them and ask. they said they dont know who i was talking to there but they will fix my will tonight. ( one day delay, no biggie.) later they call me and say they cant fix it. wtf?! so i go pick up my wheel. and surprise, surprise. they are turning down another guy with OEM silver wheels on a 10 year old car. they flat out said they cant do it and they know what they can get away with.
