    Biking through Los Olivos
    Kelli F.

We rented 6 e-bikes all day this past Saturday and it was a 5 star experience all the way. Check out was smooth, the guys who worked there were so nice and accommodating, the bikes were well-equipped and easily went 18 miles an hour. Most of us had never ridden e-bikes before and it was all so easy. It was a hot day and no one broke a sweat. We went from the shop up Alamo Pintado road to several wineries, to Los Olivos then worked our way back. We're moms in our 40s and it was absolute best way to go wine tasting. I'll never hire a car in wine country again. Thanks Brian and team!

Renting a double row bike is so much fun! An hour is plenty of time to get a workout in and venture all around downtown; we even went geocaching a bit! Everyone under 18 has to wear a helmet but they offer them free with rental. I highly recommend renting here, it's mostly flat but you can find some fun little bumps and get going faster than you want! Also, even when it looks so busy, bikes are coming and going frequently!

Honestly this was such a workout! You pay by the hour and ride it around downtown. It was a fun way to see Solvang considering how small the city it. The person the left does all the steering and braking, while the person on the right just gets a "fake" steering wheel.

Thank you for your time knifeguy831 we had a great day, we saw the whole town it was incredible, the mobility scooter held a full charge and was very comfortable, our service personnel Nick is very professional and knowledgeable about his equipment, Mr Nick my wife and I thank you very much the Leal family

Rental rates were reasonable and are priced by single, double, or triple surrey by the hour. Our party of 5 (three adults and two kids) rented the double and had a blast cruising through the Solvang neighborhoods. Upon rental, the associate will hand you a map describing red and green zones. Obviously, the red zones are off limits but everything else is a go. It looks easy when you see other people riding the bikes in the passing but when you're the one who is pedaling, boy -- it's a lot of work (especially when you have to ride slightly uphill). All in all, it's one of those things that you have to try while in Solvang while the weather is bright and sunny.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. We got placed on a triple bike with a flat tire and they tried charging us $100 for the flat. We were only on the bike for about 15 minutes TOTAL of our 1 hour time charged. Owner and workers there were trying to blame us and saying WE drove off a curb and popped it when we never approached a curb. This is completely unacceptable. I don't recommend this place for anybody in Solvang. Try another place please.

This was the highlight of my trip. $30 an hour and it was sooooo easy and perfect way to get around town and I had the opportunity to put my pug in the bike with us!!!! I recommend this

Just rent one and be on your way to explore. You don't need more than an hour on the 2-6 person bike since there's only so many roads you can bike down, but what a fun family thing to do. Even the dog came. It's good for you and the environment too and you will have plenty of social distancing. The 4 person is $40 for the hour. $10 more or less for 2 more/less bikes.

The website was easy to use and Doug, the tour manager, immediately sent back a confirmation. On the day of our tour, Doug met us in the morning at Dr. J's bike shop. He helped us with bikes and helmets. They provided each of us with a blue water bottle. The whole process took about 30 minutes (more because we were slow not them). Chris gave us some final instructions, took our pictures and then we were off. We rode up to Neverland, did Olive oil tasting and visited a lavender farm. Olive oil tasting was fun and was a way to replenish after biking in the morning. The lavender farm we could have done without. I wish there was a guided tour of the place. Other than that, the lavender farm felt like an overpriced store. Then we went to a winery where a beautiful lunch was set up complete with local fruits a day dessert from a local bakery. There was music and wine and a beautiful view of the winery. If you're looking for a great experience this is it. Our guide Chris was great! He kept an close eye on us and was very encouraging when we have trouble going up the small hill. He was knowledgeable and didn't rush us. He made sure we had a great experience and we did! We'll definitely be back!

A beautiful winery as you're driving in and is located along the main strip of vineyards along Alamo Pintado Road. Decent size parking lot. The property itself isn't too big with the tasting room. It's a small space but majority of it is outdoor looking out to the vibes. A nice cottage with a good amount of outdoor seating. Beautiful grassy knoll both right when you walk in and next to the patio and barrel room. Check in pretty easy. This was actually the first time we've been inside the barrel room for a tasting as it's usually on the covered patio. A cute room that seemed like it would be used for private events. Cute and cozy and a nice change. It was utilized for Foley wines which was a nice addition. We're not getting into that whole situation.... Regardless whenever we're here, the visit is always great. Just sitting on one of the patio chairs and just taking things in is alway a nice touch about this place. There something that's calming sitting on that grass with a nice glass of something. The wine on the tasting flight is alway great. Everything we alway tasted has alway been good. That's a good sign. Even if it's just the two of us or with a group, everyone has alway been satisfied. It's smaller but packs a punch with their wines. Glad to have Veronica back.

We were staying in Solvang so saved $10 per person by meeting at the starting point, Brander Vineyards (vs taking the van from SB), and he sent me info on what time to get there and where to park ahead of time. There was no time wasted on this tour. We got a quick info session on how to use the e-bikes - VERY easy! - and then got started. The 16-ish mile ride was easy on the e-bikes; the one thing I will say is that I'm grateful everyone on our tour chose them because it definitely would have been different if there had been people utilizing regular bikes on the uphill climbs. We stopped for rests and photos several times, including at a mini horse farm! My 17-year-old was with me and when we made our last stop at the lavender farm William grabbed him a lavender lemonade since he obviously couldn't partake in the wine tastings. Great service! Speaking of wine tastings, there were two included, and we also got some great souvenir water bottles with the brand name on them! The lunch - caprese-style sandwiches, side salad, and charcuterie boards - was also awesome. We also had an olive oil and balsamic vinegar tasting toward the end, which was a really neat touch :) I can't say enough good things about this tour, especially for the price we paid. I did a tour in Sonoma last year that was more expensive and didn't include any wine tastings at all, and while I had a great time on that tour regardless, this one was above and beyond and I would do it again in a heartbeat!!!
