Went to this wash with modest expectations. Their "pick 3" detail was only $90... less expensive than most of this places. Left the car with them overnight. The woman manager (Sunday morning) called me to say that she was not happy with how some of the carpet had turned out and she wanted to do better. (When does that happen??) I picked it up this afternoon. The car looks and smells beautiful! The oil stain that I thought no one would ever get out was gone. (This was what she wanted to clean better.) All of the winter stink was gone and everything looked perfect. This experience actually exceeded my expectations. Well done Wheaton Car Wash! read more

I use to like this place until they updated it. They added free vacuums, but it's clear that the updates are for the owner and the company, not the customer. There are less people working there. Half the time I don't even know what I'm paying for bc it's not displayed very well where you pay. I can't even reach the kiosk to pay. I also paid an extra $3 to have my tires shined and after I pulled away I realized they didn't even wash my tires. They still have the nice gentlemen to dry your car when you pull out, but they seemed to be rushed by the next car coming out. To top it off, my car wasn't even fully cleaned even tho I upgraded to the more expensive wash. I will NOT be coming back. read more

I needed to get my car detailed to have it appraised. With a four year old and a dog, it definitely needed a lot of cleaning up! I'd been to this car wash before for their automatic car wash and vacuuming service and thought it was a nice facility, so I thought I'd give them a try for detailing my car. It's very simple to make an appointment online, and it was easy to get in that same day. They took exactly how long I was quoted, and I was amazed at what a thorough job they had done. My car hasn't looked this good since I got it brand new at the dealership! The employees are friendly, and and the pricing was very affordable. I'll definitely be using them again! I gave this place two stars since they reopened. My first trip took too long and they can't seem to move cars a long fast enough. The tracks themselves move very slow as well. My second trip was also slow I pulled into the car wash bay and nobody was there, i blew my horn 3 x before somebody came. The wash itself was good and the free vacuums are nice. If you're not in a hurry you'll like this place as for me I will use them only when necessary. read more

Came in today for the full service ultimate wash, The full service part is bull, I paid 10 extra bucks for a half dryed car, a interior where only the front seats were cleaned, and the glass has not been cleaned, I argued with the guy and he tryed to get me to upgrade by saying full service is basic, Even if it is basic everyone who walks out should exect a fulled dryed off car. This is the last time I will never come to this place! They need to fire the whole staff and teach them how to dry a car! Update: I went back today for the free 40 hour ultimate wash guarantee and they did not put my car through the ultimate wash! read more

My husband and I have been going to this carwash since it opened and never had a problem.....until today! Our car wasn't complete clean and the guy drying the car only felt like drying part of the car off! When we inquired about the rest of the car he said we had to pay??? Aren't tips given for a job well done the first time! read more

I love this place and feel like we are lucky to have them in our town! Never had a bad experience, but my few conversations with the owner made me know that his desire is to always make things right, wanting the customers to be satisfied. I just went here to get my car cleaned and I could not be happier.

There are 2 other car washes by me and yet I drive all the way from Carol Stream to this car wash for the past 5 times. I think the products and machinery themselves are better than your typical gas station car wash. My ONLY issue which can be easily fixed by management is to get the towel guys to do a better job drying the car after it rolls out. By the time I get home I have soapy water streaks running everywhere. I'll give them one last try. Hopefully owner reads this. I'll be happy to change my review once this is addressed. read more

This is the best place in the area by far. I have a minivan that gets destroyed by my five young children. Prior to my last visit the interior was absolutely disgusting and I asked for an interior detail. The owner informed my that they would not have enough time to detail it that day, so I got a full service wash instead. Understandable because it was around noon on a Sunday. So I took it into the vacuum area after the wash and the owner came in and said something to the guy working on my van. The guy ended up spending about twenty minutes cleaning it out. Way above and beyond what I paid for. Bottom line this place cares about what they do and I will be a customer for life. read more

New wash just opened up in Wheaton. Great place. It's self serve, but they have people who will dry down the car if you want. Lots of vacuum stations, they even have competitive detailing services. Haven't tried them yet, but will let you know when I do. read more

Unbelievable service! My '97 Toyota Corolla is being used heavily as a commuter car, and was once the main vehicle used with our first-born child for the first year or so of her infancy. Needless to say, the interior of the car was *disgusting.* I took it in at around noon for a full interior detail (completely ashamed at the condition of my car). At around 5 they called that it was ready. The inside of my car is now PRISTINE!!! It's literally in better condition than it was when we first bought it from Carmax a few years ago. I can't say enough about the quality of work, and the courtesy and professionalism of the employees and staff. Couldn't recommend them more highly! Thank you so much!!! Great wash. Good value. Close to home. What's not to love?

Not sure why they have a 3.5 rating. $12 for the ultimate wash is a great deal. They power wash your car before going into the tunnel, which is essential. This ensures the crud is off your car so the brushes don't pick up the debris and then scratch the paint of your car. The car is then washed, triple foam waxed and sealed. The undercarriage is also washed; not sure if they add rust protectant though. They then hand dry your car, which is also great! Be sure to throw the guys a tip for their hard work. Free vacuum with no time limit as well! Try them out and support a Wheaton business. read more

Got the interior detail car wash for $100. The car was very clean when I picked it up--inside and out. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because they did not thank me for the tip I gave them and they lacked a little bit of customer service, i.e. didn't thank me for choosing them, open the door for me when I Got in my car, etc.) . A little professionalism and customer service goes a long way. Overall a good experience! read more

My husband and I found Wheaton Car Wash shortly after they opened a few years ago and have made it our #1 car wash. The speed and quality of the staff are top-notch. We both have black cars, so it's a little tough to keep them looking clean. That's never been an issue with this place! They do such a great job. Let's just say we've become "regulars" at WCW. Recently, however, we were even MORE pleased with the place, and one of the staff members, Guillermo. About 3 years ago I lost a quite expensive and sentimental ring somewhere under the seat in my husband's car. We've spent hours searching for it, had the seats removed to find it, vacuumed the car many, many times and had given up on finding the ring. A few weeks ago, my husband took the car to be cleaned, and when he got back in the car to leave, Guillermo told him he found a ring and it was in the cup holder. We couldn't believe it!!! After almost 3 years! I'm so glad to have my ring back, but I'm also so completely impressed with the honesty and integrity that Guillermo showed. When I thanked him the next time I was there, he simply said "That's OK...It's my job." You just don't find that kind of employee anymore...Great job WCW!!! You guys are the best! read more

Manager came over to my son and I in the middle of interior cleaning and told me I needed to have the car detailed. Confused, I told him I didn't expect them to get the stains out of the fabric, I knew it was just a vacuuming. He curtly shook his head and said that wasn't the issue and that his team wouldn't be able to help me... he said the paper trash and debris in the front passenger seat was "too much." I left my son in the waiting room to go get an understanding of what he was talking about. By the time I got out there, the trash was nearly all gone, but I proceeded to personally pick up and bag the remaining garbage, all the while the manager looked on. He rolled his eyes and walked away before I had a chance to talk to him about their expectations related to the state of the cars they deem acceptable for their cleaning service. For $25 per wash, I think the service is sub-standard. read more

Worst car wash experience by far. $20 wash and $5 tip will get you a mediocre job here. Management was a real joke. Never going back there again. Asked them to wipe my wheels with the towel guy told me he can't do that because the towel will get ruined after I had paid and was told that the $20 wash will include wheels cleaning. Went here because of the positive reviews I'd read. Overall they did an ok job, it took about 7 hours for an interior detailing...I did walk-in, no appointment necessary I was told when I called. Warning...make sure you take everything out of your car before you leave, I left a couple of non-valuable items in the car and they were discarded. Unfortunately, I didn't notice until a day or two later and when I went back I was told they didn't have any of my stuff (one of the items was a library item which I now have to pay for a replacement, bummer!) read more

Wheels were dirty, cup holder still had coffee stains, inside passenger door had clearly visible dirt marks, rug looked liked it wasn't vacuumed and door jambs and hatchback area were wet and not wiped down. Maybe this place is good for a quick drive through wash, but don't waste your time on "full service." The morning crew lacked motivation and pride in their work. read more

I have been going to wheaton car wash at least two times a month since they opened. I used to go to the two other big car washes in Wheaton and this one is definitely the best. The prices are cheaper, too! (check out Wheaton car wash website for a coupon that you can just keep in your glove box and use every time! ). I always get the value car wash with the full service upgrade. With at package, they wash and hand dry the outside of the car, vacuum and clean the dash and front area for only $15 ($13 with coupon) ! They do a fantatic job... and I am one of those people that can't help but notice every detail. High recommend. I think they are locally owned, too. read more

I have been coming to the Wheaton Car Wash for almost 4 years. I am a local business owner and take my service vehicles there to be cleaned as well as my personal vehicles. I have had nothing but excellent experiences with the staff, ownership, and quality of work. Their work has always been top notch. I own a limited edition vehicle with a custom matte paint finish and for anyone who knows paint this is no joke to care for. The team at Wheaton Car Wash is so good that I go out of my way from Downers Grove where I live and work just to have my car cared for there. I am what you could call a fanatic with auto care so given my busy schedule this is saying a lot to go this far out of my way. I have gotten to know the staff and ownership and can say for a fact they take great pride in turning out a superior finished product and care very much about their customer's experience. In my 4 years and hours spent at this business I have always had a pleasant experience and furthermore have never seen any other customer have anything less than a great experience. We lived in Naperville for 20+ years so when we moved to OBT three years ago I needed to find a new full-service car wash. After trying just about every single one in the area (Elmhurst, Downers Grove, Oak Brook, Glen Ellyn, Wheaton, etc.) I think Wheaton Car Wash is the best. I'm super picky and a pain in the butt when it comes to expectations for a full service car wash and these guys have always been top notch for me. I've had numerous full service washes and interior and exterior detailing and never once did they under deliver. Perfect example, a few Saturdays ago I was driving our Jeep which has cloth seats and when I made a turn my Diet Coke flipped out of the holder and onto the vacant passenger seat making a huge mess. After trying to clean it up I decided to drive over to Wheaton Car Wash and in 15 minutes I was back on my way with a spotless passenger seat. And he charged me ... $10. Are you kidding me! Made the mistake of stopping here for a quick wash. I went the wrong direction and was approached by someone (god I hope not the owner) and was treated with a sarcastic "you didn't see the cones?" I had but thought it was like my usual place taut has both an automated and hand car wash. When I replied no where do I go now I got another sarcastic answer. When I told him to stop being a tough guy he refused me service. I am a laid back guy so not like I flew off the handle. Maybe a long day for this guy but just awful. read more

The wash was fair, with dirt left along the running boards and the bumpers. However, the worst part was the "dry." The girl working there had no reason to rush (I was the only car in there at the time) and she did a terrible job. Based on the overall experience, I can't recommend it. read more
