After- Removed almost all of the scruff to reveal the true minimal damage. All I really gotta do is get the touch up paint.

Still the epitome of a five star business! I used to bring my old car to Wheaton Body when I lived in Maryland and they did the best quality work at the absolute best prices. But this time I want to talk about the work that they didn't do. I now live Virginia and recently tattooed our SUV. I knew most of it could be buffed off, but the two places that I took it to out here insisted that I couldn't and wanted to charge me between $1500 and $3000 to do it. So I drove all the way out to Wheaton because I knew one trip to see Peter and Klara would answer the question. Peter came out to look at the car and said he'd clean it up and then I could tell him whether we should do anything to it. He did and I didn't even have to answer the question. Squeezing me in is customer service is integrity. Quality work when needed, customer service always, and integrity that can't be compromised is the trifecta. And it's worth a long drive for every time.

I've been to this place twice now and each time I feel as if I'm getting an honest estimate without feeling price gouges bc I'm a woman. This time I actually had the car worked on since I didn't have to cover the expense. I got the car back within two days and couldn't be happier with the result. They even gave the car a courtesy wash. Hope I don't need to come back again but if I do, then this is my go-to place for car body work. Thanks again!

I had an issue with my car and I was honest telling Peter I was unwilling to pay more than $50 to resolve it.

They gave me a repair estimate of $17,335.18 on October 15, which seemed reasonable, and I assumed work was being done. For over two months, I waited with no updates. Suddenly, on December 5, they emailed demanding the loaner back immediately and threatened a police report for "failure to return a rental vehicle." I called their rep (Alfonso), who said he would extend the loaner--he never followed up. That evening, the loaner was remotely disabled (Valet Mode) while I was driving, stranding me overnight in 20°F snowy/rainy weather on a busy DC street. I had to pay for towing myself to avoid freezing. The next morning (December 6), they called police (Rockville and Prince George's County), claiming I failed to return the rental. They also told officers my Florida license was "fake" or fraudulent. Police cleared me immediately. I repeatedly explained my disabilities (immune-compromised, OCD, ADHD, anxiety) and asked for accommodations to get my medication and belongings from the loaner (less than ¼ mile away at a friend's house). They refused and left me stranded without transportation or meds ever since. Now they demand over $14,000 in storage/rental fees--almost as much as the repair estimate--yet no work was ever done on my car. I have video, emails, bills, and records. This was unsafe, unprofessional, and unacceptable. Avoid if you value safety and clear communication.

We asked for a shorter time since it was my daughter's spring break. At first they said it was ok but then they changed their mind. They insisted on a minimum of three weeks. I think that they run a racket on the tesla loaners and charge the insurance with luxury rentals. Their main focus was to secure as much money they could procure for themselves ignoring all the requests of the customers. In total they took around $12,000 for a repair of less than $2000 for an average paint shop. (they tell everyone a minimum of three weeks!)
