Being from Portland and a vegetarian leaning towards vegan it is very hard to find quality food in LA that is all natural/organic and good tasting ESPECIALLY from a caterer. I lucked out and was refered to this group who does not disappoint. really thankful for all that they do to create wholesome food making our family shindig more enjoyable. Mac n cheese so unique and great, Greek and Vegan Pesto salads, really taste the love. The pizza a wonderful cross between Nepolitan and New York with the flavors putting it in best ever conversation. read more

Wheat and Fire catered my wedding, they were amazing! The staff was great and the food delicious! They accommodated a number of food allergies! I highly recommend them! read more

We wanted to have our wedding at Joshua Tree National Park but found out how restrictive it is, so we rented a house for our reception. We had a somewhat smallish group so we did not want to hire a caterer and we had to have something more than rice, beans and tacos, which is fine for a birthday but a wedding no way! We got lucky and found these guys and their drop off was exactly for us. We ordered a few dishes for the next day we baked and had some left overs. Really helped us not leave our compound and put us at ease versus trying to pick from the limited restaurants and then hoping there was space for us. Thank you Viktoriya and the team! read more

Our work holiday lunch was served by Wheat and Fire Pizza Catering today, and I must admit that I was blown away. Typically, catering cuisine is really boring. It tastes the same, and to be honest, I wasn't looking forward to it. It was really delicious, with the right amount of spice throughout. Everything was prepared to perfection. The staff was outstanding. The level of service was exceptional. I cannot think of a single saying that wasn't wonderful or fulfilling. Any future events that require catering will undoubtedly be handled by Wheat and Fire Pizza Catering. read more

Wheat and Fire Pizza catered for an event we had at our chairman's house. Chef Tony was professional from the beginning and was generally a pleasure to work with. Also, his team was delightful to work with and very amiable. The guests were thrilled with everything, especially the host, and the food and setup were fantastic. With certainty, Chef Tony and his staff will be our first choice the next time we need to plan an event of this nature. read more

It is not easy to find a caterer in or that will come to Joshua Tree, especially if you value any type of farm to table organic food. We found Wheat and Fire by asking our venue (Sacred Sands) if they knew anyone even remotely sustainable. Coming from out of state we were of course worried and happy to get this suggestion. Sacred Sands even mentioned to us that they love when they come as they do not have to worry about issues and they can enjoy the food too. The flavors and quality exceeded our expectations, the staff was great making our special day wonderful. read more

I've crossed paths with Chef Tony and Wheat and Fire for several years. Their food has always been so creative and amazing that I look forward to the next time I get to try it. The have such a fresh and unique take on food, it's incredible. I'm a huge fan of wood fired pizza and have yet to come across any others that outdone Wheat and Fire, there are some that have come close but are still far from beating them. They are on another level completely. If you ever find yourself in or near Joshua Tree, I can't stress enough how great they are and you should check them out if you want something truly special! read more

The catering manager, Viktoriya, is so rude and difficult to work with. She is the only point of contact with the worst customer service.

Chef Tony & Wheat and Fire team!!! I don't have enough words to express how grateful we are for you! After firing our previous wedding caterer 3 weeks before the wedding, Wheat & Fire jumped right in & never missed a beat. Chef Tony personally called us the same day we reached out and we had everything booked and organized within a couple days. Chef Tony and team even took it upon themselves & called our hired staffing service to discuss details. Our day went so smooth - a true blessing after what we had been through before connecting with Wheat & Fire. Besides the A+ service, the apps, pizza, sides & salads were SO GOOD! So many unique options and flavors. There was definitely something for everyone! It felt like the company took genuine interest and care in the success of our day which is all you could ever hope for when working with wedding vendors. We cannot recommend this company enough! read more

We were searching for food catering options in Joshua Tree and got lucky to find this proveyor. We have a wide range of food needs for our smaller group, so was starting to get frustrated. Since we got married in the JT park and rented an Air BnB, I wanted to keep our family together instead of trying to find a restaurant (and not a lot of options). After reviewing their services we decided to do their drop off catering delivered to us and the food was beyond our expectations. It is rare to find good food is such a remote place and with such high standards for sourcing and handling. We did had them leave the food with us so I can not speak about on site staff or service, however everything we did from ordering to day of was easy and the staff was helpful through the process. read more

Helped Tony out for a wedding yesterday in Agua Dulce. He's a stand-up guy and the pizzas are so delicious and fresh. He's extremely knowledgeable about baking (with over 20 years in the business) and is truly passionate about sharing his culinary expertise. Added bonus: you won't hate yourself so much after eating one (or two) of these pizzas. P.S. There is no such thing as "Pepperoni Pizza" in Italy. If someone tells you they got a Pepperoni Pizza in Italy, they are either lying or got bell peppers on their pizza. :) read more

Wheat & Fire catered for one of my couples on their wedding day 8/18/18. Victoria and her team were amazing to work with. While the couple forgot to order a table from the venue to have their appetizers served on, Victoria had an extra table to set-up. I appreciate the team being extremely helpful and the food was amazing. I would definitely recommend them to future clients. read more

Wheat & Fire catered our wedding in Twentynine Palms. It was wonderful! All the food was delicious. The staff was so kind and accommodating. They have lots of options for guests with any dietary restrictions. I would hire them again in a heartbeat. read more

This pizza was an awesome surprise! I eat a lot of catered food at different events, but nothing compares with Wheatfire. The staff was friendly and they had uh-mazing pizza. There were a lot of different choices, including vegetarian! The pizza was not just tasty, but served in a high end gourmet way, so the guests felt like they were getting something very fancy. I would highly recommend and can't wait to eat Wheatfire again! Great job! read more

It took me a while to settle on Wheat and Fire amongst the slew of caterers close by for our my event. I'll admit I feast with my eyes, they had great hunger inducing images but among the wood fired pizza caterers, they stand out with the information on their website. Artisan flair and that the ingredients are farm fresh were priority on my list as I had guests to impress. The food lived up to the hype. The challenge is we'd find one thing but not the other... with other caterers... at least those serving or could cater within our vicinity, and this was the right fit. The things they do in creating their food, we had a few gluten free people who loved their wheat dough. Californians are all about that organic, chef scratch made food and an experience for your guests (the price was just right by the way). Mind you, I have put 6 months preparation into this. All in all, this was a great experience. Ask any host, ruin the food and ruin the event. I had to let people know. We can not imagine how anyone can not appreciate this experience and the Wheat and Fire Team was wonderful to work with and calmed my anxiety with lots of hand holding. Thank you, thank you, thank you! read more

Wheat and Fire Pizza Catering - Tony Doing his thing! Best pizza I have ever had yumm - Caterers Near Me

Having Wheat and Fire Pizza cater our wedding this past Saturday was the best decision ever!!! Our guests RAVED about the food. We had the pasta salads, caesar salad, and I chose 8 different pizzas, including one vegan option. They are so affordable and use the freshest ingredients. I highly recommend!!!! BTW - Chef Tony and his staff are very prompt and attentive with emails. They made planning a breeze. read more

Before our wedding, Tony was great at helping us plan out appetizers and responding to our needs. Our wedding day turned out to be cold and rainy, and despite the less-than-ideal conditions the Wheat and Fire team were professional and speedy in feeding all our guests. They even added in extra bruschetta and made a few custom pizzas for vegan relatives and picky 9-year-olds! The food was excellent in quality. I think my husband ate half a dozen caprese salads in a matter of minutes, and every flavor of pizza we tried was excellent. The only thing we didn't get was the stuffed peppers- they were so good the guests snatched them up while we were taking photos! Excellent food with excellent service. read more

Wheat and Fire Pizza Catering - Ordering custom pizza right at home - Caterers Near Me

AMAZING!!! Great catering service and was definitely worth the money. Was torn over just getting a cheap pizza service but wanted to impress my guests so paying a bit extra turned out to be a good investment. The Pizza: Perfect crust, very crunchy and reminded me of a Naples pizza! The toppings seemed fresh and overall was very filling. Customer service: Anthony was great from start to finish. Took care of everything we needed and arrived right on time to set everything up to made sure we had enough food. Overall best experience i've had in LA so far. Thanks again Wheat & Fire!! Will definitely recomend! read more

Very professional staff and delicious pizza! The mobile stone oven is very classy. They really care about the ingredients going into each pie! There are even to-go boxes so your guests can take home any of the pizzas that don't get eaten. It was a pleasure working with the W&F team! Highly recommended by "Cappuccino Man" :) read more

A BIG THANK YOU to Tony and Wheat & Fire!! Really made our son's birthday celebration fantastic! Just writing this review makes my mouth water. The pizza was incredible! The salami and mushrooms were my favorite. Our guests loved watching the pizza being made in the special oven. The actual crust and sauce were amazing! Looking forward to another special event so we can bring back Tony and Wheat & Fire. Thank you, Cammy read more

Just have to say this group really knows their stuff, I have never had a catering experience like this. They knew how and why they did everything their way from the ovens to the dough to the toppings. Have to say this is pretty unique in the Los Angeles area where most catering offerings are people who just do it for extra income. I guess we have never really had a chef cook for us before even though we have hired many people calling themselves caterers in the past. The only down side is now we are really spoiled and still talking about the conversations and food we where able to enjoy with our guests. If you want something special this is the option, just do not book them the first Saturday in August, we need them to come back! read more

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND WORKING WITH CHEF TONY! My five star review is for ease of working with him alone, as we have not actually gotten to eat his delicious pizzas quite yet. My fiance and I hired Tony to provide pizzas that would accommodate a range of weird dietary restrictions and still live up to his high standard, when life threw us a crazy curve ball... we were being relocated to Europe for work. We had to completely shift our wedding plan on family and friends, which wasn't the easiest thing to do. So I was stressed when I was contacting vendors about the cancelling the wedding, and working a party instead. Tony was really easy going and made it a breeze. read more

This caterer is a hoax and I fraud. They catered my party about 4 months ago. They charged me $800 for "all you can eat" pizza for about 2 hours. They made a total of 10! Pizzas. My whole party of 40 guests were starving. On top of it all they were not professional and made sexual comments to my guests. So I happened to check my messages and I see that I have a threat from Wheat on Fire Catering to tell yelp to suspend my account. How funny! read more

Tony is friendly and was great to communicate with throughout our wedding planning process. Our wedding was on 12/27, so it was really cool out. I was thinking that the pizza would be laid out and people would grab the flavor of choice. He had placed the pizzas in personal pan pizza boxes to keep them hot and easy to just grab and go! Guests were really impressed and the options catered to all diets! Unfortunately, I didn't get to meet Tony in person, but I will definitely keep him in mind for future events!! read more

I am a Real Estate agent and always looking for new ways to change it up for a Broker's Open. One of my lenders suggested Tony's. As the smell of pizza radiated through the hills of Playa del Rey, the agents devoured slice after slice. His normal routine is to hand out a whole pizza in a box, but for a Broker's Open is was better to slice them and allow the agents to taste several different ones. The reviews from each agent was 5 stars. Everyone was amazed that it was organic and had an amazing taste. The only downside was his 30 pizza min. I ended up with several leftover pizza's, which the homeowner and my friends did not complain about. :) Tony, himself, has a very pleasant personality. His whole set up is super cool. I would definitely use his services again. read more

We used Tony's for my daughter's bday party and the food was AMAZING. Organic vegetables, healthy dough, hot from the oven, and delicious! Everyone raved about the food. He is also at the Redondo Beach Farmer's Market--great chance to sample the best, fresh pizza around! read more

We hired Wheat & Fire Pizza for our rehearsal dinner this September and Joshua Tree and they were such a HUGE hit! Anthony & Viktoriya were super easy to work with from start to finish. From menu planning to probably a few too many questions (on my end), they were responsive every step of the way. The day of the event they were on time, professional and created a great experience for our guests. They LOVED the pizza and it seems they couldn't keep it coming out fast enough everyone loved it so much ;) Thank you again for making our rehearsal dinner memorable, fun and super delicious! read more

I hired Tony's Organic to make fresh pizzas as part of my company's 40th anniversary party. The presentation was amazing, our clients really enjoyed watched the process of the pizzas being made and baked in front of them. The ingredients taste fresh and a lot of our guests commented how great the sauce was. What I liked the best was how Tony interacted with our staff and guests, the customer service was exceptional. The gluten free option was great for me as it catered to my dietary needa. A side note: Tony is also at the Torrance Farmers Market on Saturdays and his pizza has become my kids all time favorite. He has made lifelong customers out of us; not only because of the amazing food but also for the exceptional customer service. read more

Gluten-free Crust: Thin What's it made with? Rice & potatoes flours Sauce: bland Toppings: pepperoni and fresh veggies: onion, bell peppers. mushrooms, zucchini Price: $10 for supreme - everything! Safety precautions: None: they use the same oven for gluten-free and regular pizzas. Extra for gluten-free: no extra for a gluten-free crust I found Tony's at the Torrance Tuesday Farmer's Market. I would like to share about the pizza but it was not completely cooked when i picked it up. I tried a small piece but decided it would be better for me to take it home and cook it longer. So I heated my pizza pan and put one piece of pizza in the oven to cook longer. The center of crust, which was doughy, did not change when I cooked it. The edges got hard. I also tried heating it up in a pan - applying heat directly to the crust - still no change in the doughy crust. So I guess it's suppose to be doughy. This is not a style of crust I like. read more
