So, we went to this location to order 1 burger inside, because there was a line. The guy at the register told us they were no longer taking orders because of the line outside?? Really??? Do you want to enjoy a tasty delicious burger without the cart box flavor? Well, then come and visit Whataburger. When we moved to Florida coming from Texas we looked for a Whataburger place and this is the closest, the hardest part of it is that we live in South Florida, so every time we go on a road trip this is a MUST stop no matter the time. I absolutely love this place, the flavor is so rich and kinda home made, they are packed with tons of calories tho, but it's worth it! On the other hand they do have a low calorie menu and it's delicious too. It's a shame that they don't have this franchise in South Florida, but it's good for my health I guess lol, today I'm getting the Avocado and bacon burger with jalapeños, and it smells so tasty. I'll try to workout double tomorrow, but tonight I'm enjoying this amazing feast with no regrets lol. read more

I've eaten at this particular WB 5 or 6 times. Each time there has been a problem with the order, problem with the food or just out and out poor service. If they want my business as a loyal customer they will have to do better. Greasy poorly prepared burgers can be had anywhere. I'm looking for as good or better than Burger King. So far EB has not even come close. read more

Omg I can't believe it has been more than 6 months since I've have been to this Texas burger institution. This Jacksonville WB are the closest to me so passing through had to defiantly stop in. This location did not disappoint it was well worth the stop. The store is going through a little renovation on the drive-thru. The store was clean and the staff were friendly and quick to take our order. I had the Wataburger with cheese it came out fast and fresh. If I could have done no stars I would have. I'm not even sure why I waited since I did the drive thru. The order taking was as if I was begging them to do their job. All I wanted was a simple burger meal. There were three orders (cars) in front of me. I watched simple beverages go into a car and get returned to the window. Another car gets up there and entire orders go BACK in the window. I think we all waited about 30 minutes for our order. Unbelievably poor customer service. No apologies for the delay or anything offered. I hope I never have a need for another burger from this Whataburger. read more

This low review is for their app only. I downloaded it and went to check out the menu but it will not give you access to menu items "until you add money to your account". Then you have to pick "your store". Well, it turns out my location "is not able to do online ordering". At this point I wanted to scream. I had charged a credit card $25 to load my account. There's a small silver lining in that I could still use a bar code on my phone to pay. So I drove to the location and ordered. I was directed to a lane to wait. A server comes out with an electronic pad but has no way to scan my phone. She gets flustered and goes back inside. She comes out and says she needs to take my phone inside. Not ideal but ok. She comes out a third time and it's done. Wow. Really? Someone at Whataburger needs to call Starbucks or Jersey Mike's and find out the secret. Cus this sucks. As a follow up, I noticed they are a billion (B) $ Company and over 800 stores. A ton of their Texas locations have online ordering but no others. The location was not busy. We tried to order but the screaming and laughing in the background made it hard for us to hear and the order taker kept saying "what" When our order was finally done we saw it set by the window. It took over twenty minutes to get our order. A large portion of this time it just sat in the window. I am guessing the manager called out sick or something to have an empty lobby take 20 minutes for two burgers, fries and a coke. The entire crew needs to be retrained on no horseplay, screaming and the lack of customer service. Highly recommend any of the eating establishments surrounding this location but avoid Whataburger. With the way they were acting we were worried about the food if something was done to it. read more

Whataburger is an excellent burger joint to go eat at! Well worth a long distance drive with that as a reward or merely a pit stop along your long journey. The burgers are fresh and made with real beef. Fries are extremely decent and crispy. Sweet tea is good and this location offers not just the regular half and half creamer but the French vanilla as well! It's like this location knows it's the closest for a long distance from a lot of places so the staff go out of their way to please. Either that or that's just how the folks in Yulee are. I now live a bit far from any Whataburger but I do miss this place a lot and make it a point to go whenever I find myself passing through Yulee to visit my relatives. I have heard this restaurant chain is a staple of a lot of people in the south and I can believe it! read more

I've had plenty of shitty experiences here... but every other time everyone fixed mistakes and was super polite.. tonight was a different story. Staff was really nice but completely messed up the order. First off we ordered 3 meals, all with fries, 2 with drinks with an order of onion rings too. The first time we got our order it wasn't even ours and our drinks were completely different... we had received 2 burgers and a side of Fries only, water and a Diet Coke. When we had ordered a sprite and Dr Pepper. Then next order the brought out was sort of ours however, we missed a side of fries, we didn't get our sides and the sweet and sour burger was completely messed up and made wrong. Then they took the burger I gave them, took it inside wiped everything off and gave me the same burger just with a new bun because they ran out of meat. It was awful honestly. I usually don't complain either, I'm fact I didn't have yelp until tonight. Because I understand shit happens. But that's horrible. And the girl kept questioning me like I didn't know what I ordered. Another guy came out and told her they weren't suppose to take food back inside but they did with the very first order they brought after I went through all the food to see if it was kinda ours. And they took mine and wiped it clean cause they ran out of burger meat. Will never go back. This isn't my first problem at this Whataburger probably won't be the last either. read more

First time visiting this restaurant. Went through drive-thru and the person taking order was rushing me to hurry and also seemed very irritable! I told them it was my first time but person didn't make any food suggestions. Didn't seem to care! Rude! Also, after paying for my order another worker came to the window and asked if I had already payed for my order. What really!? Bad customer service! Also, when we got our order it was wrong and the hamburgers looked like someone had literally sat on them! Gross! They looked smashed! Bad first time experience! I won't be visiting there again! Plus I've had way better burgers than this place! It's a thumbs down for me! Great food, except the occasional unmelted cheese or the old chicken tenders. Let's face it, it's fast food. The only issue that I actually have is the pothole directly under the drive thru window. I call it the "hell hole", affectionately... Imagine this: You're hungry, just ordered an amazing burger and are anticipating being next to pull up to the window and sink your teeth in to greatness! Then, you roll the window down and get a mouth and nose full of hot garbage funk. That's what you'll experience, varying in degree based on recent rainfall & temperature. The "hell hole" has a nice mixture of liquid garbage, trash, dead flys, and partially moldy coffee creamers floating on this science experiment. Additionally, it's located directly below the drive thru window. (Don't drop any change! You'll never want to go fishing to get it back, trust me) I brought it to the employees attention and he pleasantly informed me that they knew about it, and apologized for it. Fast forward a few weeks later and I brought it up again to management inside the restaurant. They seemed surprised to be hearing about it. On a positive note, the food is so damned amazing, people are still braving the disgusting drive thru window stench and buying food at the window. Imagine another restaurant with a pungent stank of rotten dumpster who DIDN'T have amazing food and customers just keep going there! It wouldn't happen. read more

Not sure what the fuss about Whataburger is all about. The kids thought the chicken was ok and liked that gravy was an option but in general the adults thought the burgers were disappointing. I used to work at whataburger in Austin, TX. This place needs new management. I came here at 4:30am on Oct. 21, 2020 and the workers did not answer in the drive thru and had the lobby locked. A white truck and black challenger with a red vinyl were present and as I drove around to leave I could see someone watching from the dry stores. Other ridiculous things have happened on previous visits like being told it would be a 10min wait to add a milkshake but when I reached the window the shake machine was running fine w/ no refill needed and after almost 10min he finally just made the shake in less than a minute. They had the person in front of me pull forward who I was served before and idk what they were going through but they were not happy at all. read more

I lived in the wonderful state of Texas for 16 beautiful long years and during that memorable time I fell in love like any other rational human being with the magical flavor of Whataburger. I am blessed that my job gives me the opportunity to travel everywhere and, I'm good ol Jacksonville and of course I must come and enjoy my precious Whataburger!!! The burger, fries, were great!!! Unfortunately, the customer service in this establishment leaves a lot to say. I understand it's a slow day but, no reason for your staff(multiple on the job and off)to be sitting down where the customers can hear and see y'all. For the price and quality you might as well order pickup at chili's next door. The food here is hit or miss and the wait times are atrocious. If you have to try this particular Whataburger I would recommend only going when it's slow, otherwise you might get somebody else's order, or a messed up order entirely. Always takes forever to receive my food. It's whataburger so they aren't bad but really greasy. I tend find to French fries in my onion rings. And onion rings in my French fries. I debate each time if they change their grease often...usually tastes bad. Most likely not going back unless I want to feel gross afterwards. read more

As far as fast food breakfasts go, this is up there with Chick-fil-A, my gold standard of quick breakfast food. We ordered the breakfast on a bun x2 and the honey butter chicken biscuit combos, and they were delicious. Very fattening and high in calories, but delicious. If CFA is too far or expensive for you, Whataburger breakfast is a great alternative, and I'd happily go back, in a month or so, after I've run off these calories. read more

The Chop House Cheddar Burger was good in theory! If you don't mind the taste of pepper, and you love spice, this is the burger for you. I don't like pepper and I hate spice. Not mytyoe of burger. My awesome husband traded his Double Whataburger for mine and it was really good, although it could have used less mustard.
