We almost didn't come here because of the reviews that we saw on yelp. I will say, I am very happy we did! The kid (Kaiden?) that helped us was not only very patient and even let us taste the new Carne Asada steak, he was very helpful and informed of how long the meat has been out and what is better to have. All of the food taste fresh, but I will say the Carne Asada steak is quite zippy! I can honestly say I think I could eat a whole bowl of that corn salsa that they have. It's been a long time since I've been to a chipotle, and this may be the smallest one I've ever been to, it got quite busy. They probably don't have enough employees to handle the volume of people (but who does anymore?) It wasn't messy in the dining area and they still have a good supply of some really tasty drink options, including a watermelon limeade and a mandarin Agua Fresca that we really enjoyed. Even the sweet tea is good. There were at least 5 people working...and they were actually working! Kaiden was restocking the station where they serve from with fresh food constantly while serving people and sometimes working the register as well. This Chipotle is great if you go in and order. If you order through a delivery app it's my experience you get about 1/2 the portion. On 12/18/25 I ordered a burrito with extra chicken. It was the size of a big taco and had exactly 3 pieces of chicken. I paid $20 for 1/2 a burrito and the rice was crunchy. Really disappointing. read more

Recently saw a Chipotle spokesman on CNBC boasting about raising their prices 8 occasions and further boasting prices will be raised again. Their current promo is their "Honey Chicken" protein. My wife wanted to try it for Mother's Day. Arrived at 4:30 PM. The assembler stated they were out. I responded that my wife came in specifically to try the honey chicken and could they make some more. He asked the cook about our request and she immediately shot him an overly dramatic dirty look and shook her head "no". During this time , I looked at the food assembly workspace and everything either looked picked over or uninspiring. I would have left at that point, but my wife is nicer than I am so we ate an underwhelming and underseasoned Mother's day dinner, all for $35.00. Chipotle Mexican Grill is pretty much my go-to when I am thinking fast food. It is not only good and one of my favorite fast food options, but it is also significantly healthier than the fast food burger joint options that are out there. Chipotle was one of the early places that were offering an assembly line type process of ordering your food. You choose either a salad, burrito bowl, burrito or tacos. You then choose between white or brown rice, followed by either black or pinto beans. Next is your protein and then it is on to the additional toppings like salsa, sour cream, cheese, etc. It is a simple process and allows you to in a fashion customize your meal. My usual order is a burrito bowl and I usually have chicken or steak as my protein (or sometimes I have a combination of the two, either half and half or double meat). If you are looking for an authentic Mexican meal, this is not your place. However, if you are looking for a great tasting meal that is definitely American (though with a Mexican influence) and that you can be in and out of in a relatively quick amount of time, Chipotle Mexican Grill is a good place to head towards. read more

The service is almost always horrible here. Never greeted when picking up through the chipotlane. If you arrive 2 mins early from your order time they love to remind you that you're too early and that it will be ready at the exact time. However, when you sit there for over 15 mins PAST your order time, they can't even be bothered to apologize. The workers act like it's the biggest inconvenience to actually do their job. I asked for the vinaigrette once, they told they were out and then I asked if more could be made (it could they just didn't want to) and she said yeah and returned with the most nastiest and watery vinaigrette I've ever tasted. read more

I have never been more embarrassed on behalf of young girls. Our travel softball team was given permission, accompanied by Chipotle coupons, to fundraise for our 12u softball team. Halle Konopka, the acting Chipotle manager, with the title of "Apprentice" on her business card, verbally attacked the 11 & 12 year old girls. Chipotle Corporate sent the team managers coupons and instructions regarding where to stand and how to fundraise at their YULEE location. The Apprentice, and acting Manager at this location bypassed the parents present and accosted the children. Threatening them with being charged with SOLICITATION if they did not remove themselves from the area that Corporate instructed them to greet customers! The girls were embarrassed. When the parents asked why Ms. Konopka would not let them continue with their corporate approved fundraiser, she said she did not want them harassing "customers because they looked homeless". She bullied the girls to move off the strip mall/center property. Though I would like to mention that the neighboring Jersey Mike's, not wanting some of the girls' and parents' efforts to go to waste (as some parents traveled approx 2+ hours roundup to attend), was touched and happy to share the sidewalk with the young softball team. Shame on the Yulee, Florida Chipotle for insulting and threatening these girls and their parents for simply attending their corporate approved fundraiser. read more

I am beyond disappointed with my Chipotle experience. It's been a while since I've had Chipotle and recently moving to Yulee I was happy to see they had a location. Upon arriving, the restaurant was filthy. Food was all over the tables and floors, in the bottled drinks area by the counter, nothing was stocked (food choices, beverages, utensils). We asked for a small amount of the red salsa because we know how spicy it is and an entire ladle was put on, making the food too spicy to eat. When we went to pay, the girl checking us out walked away and didn't come back for some time. When she did come back, she was extremely unpleasant and unprofessional - had the worst attitude. On top of all of this, your employees were not wearing hair nets and overall employees looked dirty which is not ok at a food establishment. Overall, I would not recommend this location and will not be back. Beyond disappointed. read more

Not sure what happned at this location but when they first opened we thought it was great. Always do online order and pickup at the window. Very convenient and always ready. But last night and the time before we ordered the food just wasn't the same. Seemed like the portion was smaller and my burrito last night was dry as the desert. I was there at 6pm and they ran out of rice with a 30 minute wait for more. Normally this would just be a mild inconvenience, but the person serving the food waited for people to complain to tell the cooks they needed to make more. A customer behind me asked for the manager to complain. They described the situation in a mostly professional manner. "FOOD CONTAMINATION BEWARE" Listen, I love Chipotle, and as of today, I've lived in 6 different states, and tried over 50 locations so far, trust me when I say THIS IS THE WORST CHIPOTLE RESTAURANT IN THE NATION! While she walked trough the line to make my bowl, her long yellow hair touched ALL, I mean ALL the food on the bar. I pointed out to her, she didn't care at all, and just sent her hair back. While that happened, the other server accidentally, while putting more stake on the bar, threw a ton of pieces of stake into the queso, of course didn't care at all, and just scooped out the meat and left it there. This is crazy, how much contamination in just 3 min, I don't want to imagine while no one sees them. At the end, I just rejected the bowl and left. This place is disgusting and alarming. I ordered a steak quesadilla online and had my husband go pick up my order when he came home I noticed my order was missing the fajitas, I went back to the restaurant and they told me they were out of fajitas and that's why I didn't received any so I asked them why didn't u let us know that u did not have any when my husband picked up the order and the manager told me that they were suppose to let him know but failed to do so, i then was offered some left over fajitas that were left at the bottom of a pan, I told them no I would just like money back and was told I had to request to get my money back on the website! I worked in a food industry and I know that it can be really exhausted and not to mention plus standing 8hrs is not a joke! we love chipotle and we are very happy that we have one now here in yulee. Sooo was super excited for a Chipotle Mexican Grill to open in my area because I love them but sadly I will not be going back to the one in Yule for a good while I have never waited over 50 minutes just to get to a window then ... the food that was preorder over 50 minutes ago was not even ready and the staff did not even say sry for your wait nor seem to care that 4 or 5 cars pulled out of line and they weren't even really coming to the window to check on ppl to see what their orders are. I've eaten at Chiplote from California to Florida and places in between, this is the worst restaurant I've frequented. The staff appear disinterested in serving, however, the restaurant is always clean. My main beef with Chipolte is 90% of the time is they are out of core Mexican dish items on the serving line or unavailable when you order, especially guacamole. UNACCEPTABLE for this restaurant and I never encounter this problem at any other Chipolte. I guess the product ordering person isn't doing their job. You'd think they could drive to Publix in the same shopping center to buy avocados or peppers. I wish they'd close the doors or run the restaurant according to the Chipolte's standards. I would not recommend this location and now drive to River Walk off hwy 17 when I want Chipolte. I've discuss my displeasure with the on shift manager a couple of times and I get the stock response, sorry and supply chain issues. read more
