Having 3 check out windows in a drive through isn't encouraging to actually getting your food. Something is seriously wrong with this location when they have people driving off in the drive through and the explanation of having a third window to avoid backups obviously isn't working cause you can't get past the second window to drive around the person waiting on the 3rd window. I love this location as the employees are always welcoming and offer little extras like bringing some more coffee to you and thanking you for coming. I usually come for breakfast; I love their sausage biscuits with egg. Their coffee is always fresh and strong. This must be the slowest most inept location in all of San Antonio. This morning I stopped to redeem a reward, place my order online through the app and was instructed to pull up to the front of the line. 10 minutes later a rep knocked on my window to tell me the didn't have tortillas and would I like something else, I then ordered a BOB. THIRTY MINUTES later another rep cheerfully approached my window to ask if I'd like to place an order, unfortunately I was not nearly as cheerful in my response. He did take care of the order right away, but this is the third occasion that my online order at this store has been in error and extremely delayed. I keep mistakenly hoping that management has made correction to the service, but each time I'm sorely disappointed. I realize it's a fast food restaurant, but I've not encounter this consistent level of diminished service skills at any other Whataburger. Stayed in drive thru line over 30 minutes. Was short staffed. Got home (not far away at all) food was ice cold. Onion rings I could not eat because they were burned and tasted like they had not changed the fryer grease in forever. I could not eat the food. This Whataburger on 3009 at Schertz is really going downhill quickly. We won't return there again. The last two times we've gone their customer service is horrible, their dine-in is horrible. Their sweet tea is alway out, not enough lids, straws, napkins, trash is overflowing, tables are dirty, floors are awful and no way would you want to use their restrooms. Don't know what's happened to this place, but that will be the last time we go. If they can't keep the dine-in area clean and stocked, what does the kitchen look like? Then when you ask the staff for something they all seem to be bothered by you asking for something. This is the worst Whataburger drivethru I've ever been to. On 2 separate occasions they jacked up my order. The first time they forgot both of my children's meals. My wife and I are regular customers at the Whataburger on FM 3009 in Schertz Tx. Most of the time the service is fair to good, but there have been a few bad experiences. But what I experienced tonight was the worst. When I walked in the store on Monday, July 15, 2019, around 8:00 pm, there was hardly anybody there. I expected to be in and out. First, when the cashier took my order she was very rude. She didn't smile, and didn't say hardly two words to me, except the bare minimum She never said thank you, you're welcome nothing. I had to ask for my table tent number, because she started restocking cups and apparently forgot. Nor did she give me my receipt. I didn't bother with it, so she just removed it and threw it away. Twenty minutes later, I'm still waiting for my order. I ask another cashier about it, he checks, comes back and says their cooking my onion rings (20 min?). He didn't apologize. Finally at the half hour mark, my order is finally ready. A third employee brings it out, I told her how long it took and commented that 30 min is a long time to wait (especially that it wasn't busy when I first got there - now it's getting busy). Her response? She kind of grimaced. No apology, just asked if I needed ketchup . I told her two ketchups, she hands them to me with and just walks off with an attitude. Still no apology. From NOBODY. I wanted to speak to the manager , but I saw no sign of him since I first walked in. I didn't trust anybody could handle the job of finding him without me waiting another 30 min. I loathe rude treatment of customers, apathy, self-centeredness and incompetence, especially after a very stressful Monday at work. I saw all four of these tonight at this store, and I find it intolerable. I hope this isn't a growing trend here, because I've patronized this Whataburger for years, otherwise I'll spend my hard earned money elsewhere. I hope this situation will be addressed. read more

Probably the worst Whataburger location these days. If the food isn't cold, it's incorrect. I order two sides of gravy just so I can combine the two and make a full portion knowing full well they won't be filled even close to the top... this time there was so little gravy in each dish I was unable to even make it into a full cup. When buying sausage BOB's the egg and meat are so cold that neither can melt the cheese. Then top it off by biting into a hash brown I can only assume was fried twice so they didn't have to throw out old ones or give them out cold. Just inedible. I find all of these after I get home of course and after waiting in a long line after a long day of doing my job correctly. I don't think it's too much to ask others to do the same. I live off of FM3009, but will drive an extra 15 minutes to the PatBooker location from now on just so I'm not wasting my money and time over and over again.
