BoY HoWDy LookaHere... I been totally sleepin' on that #26 Biscuit&Gravy Meal over at Whataburger! Sheeesh! ~ We swung through there this past weekend after my Wife spotted it on the menu... We tried it (she grabbed and gobbled up that Honey Glazed Chicken Biscuit) and I've been back two more times since! The #26 Biscuit&Gravy Meal comes with a Buscuit / Gravy / Hashbrown Sticks and a Drink. The Gravy is deliciously made, good and creamy with tasty bits of sausage... The Biscuits are perfectly made, not too soft... And the Hashbrown Sticks are golden fried with the perfect crunch! I like to pour a lil' bit of the gravy over the biscuit to soften it up a tad... then I 'quarter' that bad boy. Once I cut it into 4 lil' triangles, I add more gravy (which seeps down the cracks)... lol *Hungry yet? Since there's enough gravy to go 'round, I dip them hashbrown sticks into it and the Partay is on and pa~pa~PoPpin'! I warsh alla that down with a Crispy Cold Coke (that's mixed Just right everytime)! *As a note: Whataburger's drinks are HUGE...(that's a medium in the pics)! Oh, and my Wife thoroughly ENJOYED the HoneyGlazed Chicken Biscuit! *Keep in mind Whataburger serves their B-fast from 11p ~ 11a (plenty time to swang by)! Coincidently, as a former AeroSpace Food Technician, I made tons of the breakfast gravy for hungry Military Soldiers/Personnel, but I would never try it, even though it was insanely popular! Folks would literally get out of line if they came in and we didn't have it...which didn't really bother me too much, since I was cookin' 300+ eggs (scrambled, fried, over easy, an every type of omelet known...) ...ahh, the 'Good ol' Days' ~ The 'Military Term' for the (Breakfast) Gravy is *S.O.S. and since I keep my reviews G~rated, *Google it.. (I do remember that most of the patrons LOVED it on toast...) ~ The acronym is prolly why I wasn't interested in trying it back then! Ohh ... and speaking of the Military, Whataburger 'raises the whole dadgum bar' by offering FREE Coffee DAILY to us Military Peeps (Active/Vets)! You can't beat that witha stick! Went yesterday, spent a full 15min in drive thru. I ordered a large onion ring and a side of gravy Onion rings were cold. I watched as countless orders were fulfilled as I sat there in drive thru Gravy? Well that was a joke. Thinned out so much it had the consistency of water. This Whataburger has good food just like the other ones and overall good service. The ambiance isn't bad otherwise as it has that old burger joint vibe or feel like you'd see in plenty of movies or other older burger joints. But it's still a good place to go to when you're hungry and want to get a quick bite. The burgers are good, fries are fine, and the prices are reasonable. Whataburger is a good place to go to whenever you have one near you or you need to get a quick easy bite. Give the burgers a try and enjoy them. read more

Yesterday I ordered the original Whataburger with bacon and for some reason the lady on the intercom wanted to make it a plain burger with bacon. I had to correct her several times and honestly she came off rude. Just off that I wouldn't come back. However the gentleman who handed me my food was nice. read more

Hubby and I stopped by whataburger to get dinner.. I came home and opened my "cobb" salad to this. I looked twice and its absolutely raw chicken. This could have made someone severely sick..hospitalized someone!! This is unacceptable at every level and makes me question if they have SOP's, what standard they hold their restaurants too. If there managers were competent and employees held to a high standard that chicken would have NEVER made it out of that kitchen. I will not be returning to whataburger. Went thru drive thru. Ordered burger, shake and onion rings. Repeated my order back to me at the speaker and then again at the window. Get the order and there's no onion rings. I ask for spicy ketchup and she rolls her eyes. Go back inside to ask if there were onion rings on the order and she can't even look at me. She says, "no sorry". Added up the meal and they were for sure added. Just tell me you don't want to make them and I'll get fries. Don't short me my order for your laziness. Not even about the food. Just pure laziness and no people skills. Will not come back to this location. San tan mall location is by far superior. And there were no green chilis on my green chili double. I like Whataburger. It's one of my go to fast food restaurants. However, the last two times that I visited the Ellsworth location, the frying oil was old. The fries, chicken, and Texas toast all smelled and tasted rancid. I thought it would be a one-timer but coming back weeks later, I'm convinced that management is saving money at the expense of the customers. Well, this is my second time to have my credit card hacked at this Whataburger location! About a year ago, I pulled up to the second drive-through. The employee came out took my card into the restaurant to scan it. I asked her before she left don't you carry the machine outside and she kind of stuttered and said no, but I thought was odd. They usually do... Should've been my first clue! Within 24 hours I had charges on my card from New Jersey. It was the only place I'd use that card in six months... Fast forward to Sunday I used a credit card just out of curiosity to see if it would happen again because if I eat there, I usually use the app and order online so I don't have to go through this and yep within 24 hours bam my credit card was used in multiple places... Barbie were using your credit card! The first time it happened I called the location and asked to speak to the manager and told him this time I'm not even calling. I had a free combo meal because of the rewards program. If it wasn't free, they would have received 3 stars. The food was luke warm. I can't stand cooled fries. I ate a few and tossed most of them. I only ate half of the burger for the same reason. I am a fan of What a Burger and normally have a good experience. Tonight they were just off their game. Family and I frequently visit here, usually very good service but the last 5-6 times we visit the sodas have all fizz and no flavor. We have brought it to their attention and they just say their machine doesn't have enough syrup. If that's the case they should tell people about it before making them pay and not receive what they're paying for. They never offer to correct the situation and at time have lied saying it's been fixed when it hasn't. The food is never an issue, burgers are always warm and made very well. Well this is extremely disappointing, I absolutely love whataburger and I'm happy they finally opened up next to our house, but holy crap! First time I came by opening week, 45 min wait. Okay fine. Second time I was in and out within 20 minutes. Third and fourth time, decided to do curbside, both times said my order would be done in 5-10 min, perfect, so I thought. Both times I had to wait an extra 20-30 mins after I had already arrived. Well I'm sitting on curbside 1, 20 min later after checking in and nothing. So I gave them a call while watching the drive thru empty out a few times. Someone picks up, I ask them if my order went through and if it's ready, I checked in at 11pm, when it said my food would be ready. "well have you been waiting for at curbside for 20 min.." YES! That's why I'm calling! It was supposed to be quick and easy so I don't have to wait in the drive thru line. But apparently if I would have done that, I could have gone through twice and ate already. So in total 27 min, a phone call, and someone walking up to my car to tell me they're getting started on my order, later. But whenever I go to the Ellsworth store, I have no service it doesn't work the app. And when I get home, it won't let me add my purchases. If you guys can't fix the app just get rid of it. Decided to come for breakfast since it's always so busy. Been open 6 days today and they have been busy. Was the 2nd person in line when ordering at 8am. Ordered double whata with no tomatoes combo and 3pc chicken strip combo. Super friendly staff who repeated our order twice for accuracy. Order was perfect, exactly as ordered. We forgot to ask for spicy ketchup but they added it to our order Chicken was crispy with the smooth gravy, everything was hot and fresh. Will be back but will come early. Very impressed! read more

Classic Whataburger ambiance. Nice place to sit and enjoy your burger surrounded by the Orange :) The food is what you would expect from your local Whataburger. The service does leave much to be desired. It's not that the staff isn't friendly, but the wait times are crazy for fast food. I appreciate that Whataburger doesn't just have stuff sitting under a heat lamp, but you will definitely wait 15-20 minutes in this drive thru. read more

I dont know what the low ratings are for. We came here for lunch and ordered 2 cheeseburger, fries and hatch chili burger. Their burgers are huge and tasty. At first glance, the fries didn't seem that much but it is. My boyfriend liked the chili burger. He said he will get it again. The staff was helpful. The store is clean. read more

I want to thank Whataburger for reminding me why it's important to eat healthy. Had I not been in a hurry, I could have eaten at home. Something nice. I could have had a beer. It would have been wonderful. Instead, I got to taste what only can be described as sadness. The fries, we're cold, old, and tired. They must have had a long day. The burger was meh. I'd describe it as disappointment between buns. The capper was the wait! I sat in line for 20 minutes while this silver hatchback ordered. Then ordered again. Then ordered again at the window. They must have been really hungry. This particular Whataburger has an extra large drive through so they can let other cars go ahead of you. That was great to see. Two cars got their orders while I sat behind the hungriest person in the world. Again, thank you Whataburger. Without this monumental travesty of an experience, I'd never have remembered why the last time I ate in one was 25 years ago. read more

Bummed to give a low rating but, unfortunately, it's deserved. Went through the drive-thru later in the afternoon (past usual lunch rush) on a random weekday. And while the line wasn't too bad, it took forever to get through with our food. Not sure what the hold-up was but it was apparent other drivers were equally frustrated with the slow process. At this point, this Whataburger had been open for several months so you'd expect most of the kinks would have been worked out at this point- apparently not. Even worse, the staff was not the friendliest. Asking for extra ketchup seemed like a chore (did we just get an eyeroll for asking that?), and there was zero interaction- apologizing for the delay, have a nice day, all that jazz. Then we got home with the food and ... things got even worse. Items were missing, food was soggy and cold, and the burgers were very "meh". Not a lot of flavor in that bag of $30 food! It was super disappointing for the entire family, especially after waiting so long to get this low quality of food. Wow. We really like the Whataburger brand and I'm not sure if they're corporate or a franchise, but I really hope the owner(s) are reading their online reviews and begin working to cleanup their poor reputation. I know we won't be going back until we see a turnaround in the reviews. I'll be happy to update the review once we see things get better for ourselves. read more

So. This am I went to this establishment. Ordered a #16 with an extra biscuit. The pic shows what I got. I had a sticker shock moment when I asked how much a biscuit costs and forgot to get my drink before driving away. Then, I get to work and this is what's in the bag. Came in today and ordered food for 3 people, My Mom, Dad, and 16 yr old Son. We've been here so long My Son is now graduating college and both my parents are in a care home. :( Kidding aside...by the time we got our order we had to send 2 of the burgers back because they were so cold. 15 Minutes After I returned them I walked to the counter and asked where the new burgers were and they said "oh we didn't know you wanted them remade."
