I genuinely don't understand what is going on at this place. The line for the drive through was not long, there were two cars in front of me at the speaker and one car at the window. By the time it was my turn to place my order, no lie, I sat there for 8 minutes before someone spoke to me. I said, "hello," at about minute 3, no answer. Then at about minute 8, I asked if anyone was going to take my order. There was an immediate answer from a woman apologizing for the time it took, and asked to take my order. I placed the order, she asked very odd questions, which I answered, and she threw a little bit of attitude at me. Whatever. I'm a decently kind person, so I ignored it. I usually order from here via Door Dash mainly because it's quicker it seems than going there. The drive thru line is always slow at any Whataburger and they're always busy. Their food is ok, but their fries with their ketchup has to be the best! It's an experience all its own. Problem is they never send enough ketchup with your order, it takes more than one with a large fry - more like 3. You can ask for more but you never get it. What is going on at this place? They were fully staffed at 10pm tonight with employees just standing around drinking sodas while food was being prepared for the drive thru. We visited on 10.16.2024 and went through the drive thru. It was strange that this location had a two lane drive up with one staff member taking payments outside and walking food out to the unofficial second lane. It was utrer was chaos and the lane was running slow and unorganized. We placed an order for two burgers and it took 25 minutes to get our full order while cars were being shuffles around. Trying to shove move people in the drive up holding lane doesn't make the food delivery faster. They should stick to one lane to allow time for the kitchen to keep up with orders like any other drive thru. Horrible experience. read more

Hamburger sucks. Service was terrible. They were all so confused of who ordered what. I got the wrong thing but didn't say anything cause I didn't want to be there for another 30 minutes. My first time eating at Whataburger! We were visiting TX from CA, where we unfortunately do not have the luxury of Whataburger... I have grown up on In-N-Out my whole life, and let me tell ya... I would like to take time out of my busy life and compliment the staff here at this Whataburger. As I'm typing another man just said "that was fast!" As he takes a seat and a staff member gives him his food. I am not accustomed to this type of quickness at any Whataburger I've been to before. This place is always packed during lunch time but they seem to have everything very well under control. Walk in experience was ok, staff friendly and food came out warm as it should but it took more than average time to come out, 17.5 minutes. The drive thru is always full, both times I used the drive thru was morning. Both times I ordered Bacon egg and cheese biscuit, both time they delivered sausage egg and cheese biscuit. Beware: going to this whataburger at night is usually a 1 hour trip. The drive-thru and inside area serve food at an incredibly slow pace and this usually means the food is cold. Get a microwave. Seriously though, this is without a doubt the worst experience I've ever had at a drive-thru. Not all whataburgers operate this way. This one is unique. I was actually looking forward to enjoying a honey butter chicken biscuit for breakfast since I hadn't had one in over a year and I actually came across a location on my way without a huge line. Came here last night as I was driving through Odessa Texas. I must say that I have never been a fan of Whataburger in general. I have alway had bad service and terrible food, however, this is not the case at this store! The young man who seemed to be the manager on duty was doing an amazing job expediting orders and checking in with guests. The location was extremely clean and food was coming out of the kitchen fast and fresh. I was very happy with the cashier Annette who was not frustrated by my family's customized and complicated order.
